Sora looked at the rest of the group after Lakayna had gotten dressed. Nodding to them he approached the dragon girl with Mulan, Axel and Kairi. Then when the dragon girl asked what was wrong, he looked at Kairi, who appeared to still be crying. "We're not sure."
Axel didn't know what to think. This kind of magic seemed so weird to him. He supposed that there was more to magic than he first thought. Then when Lakayna asked what happened to Kairi, he looked at the princess, just noticing the tears in her eyes. "I think we should regroup with the others," he suggested, looking at Lakayna.

"Maybe I can find her...if i go after her," Riku spoke to himself softly, eyes still on the Keyblade in his hand. Thoughts ran through his head but he didn't listen to one of them. His body was trembling from pain of a broken heart or the anxiety within was a mystery to him. It would be easy to follow her: plunge his blade through his chest and then...then what? Would he even exist in anyway?

Mickey jumped when Riku contemplated going after Hikari. Even though he didn't voice it, he had a feeling that Riku would lose his heart in an attempt to find her. "Riku I don't think she would want you to lose your heart just to find her. We can find a way, we just have to think about it. Xemnas said that he would be where Kingdom Hearts began, right? Welp, maybe we just gotta go there!" he explained, hoping that would at least take the boy's mind off of taking his own heart away.

He didn't care. "That'll take too much time...I don't -- she DOESN"T have time," his whispered were a little louder, but it was still as though he was speaking to himself. It seemed as though he didn't realize anyone else was there. That Mickey was just in consious. No one was there only him and time. "She doesn't have time," he kept repeating to himself until his lips moved and no voice came from them. His hand tightened around the hilt of Way to Dawn. It would only take a second...no time at all.

Mickey couldn't help but flinch a little when Riku specified that Hikari didn't have time. Yes, he knew what happened to a heart when it was falling through darkness for too long, but it was still no reason for him to be acting like this. "Now Riku, ya gotta think this through. If you go and do something like what happened to her, then how are we supposed to get you back?" he asked, then turned his head when he heard a small meow come from a corner towards a door.
The cat, black with bright yellow eyes trotted towards them. It looked exactly like the cat Heartless Hikari had created back at the islands. The Heartless feline walked up between the King and Riku, sitting on the Way to Dawn and looked up at the silvernette.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé had received a confirmation. That as all she really needed. Techincally she could leave right at this moment and begin searching. In fact, she planned to but then she heard Riku speak. His words caused her to freeze and she turned her eyes to him; the crystal blue orbs wide with horror. No... He wouldn't... He couldn't! Naminé was too shocked to move. Thankfully, Mickey stepped in and suggessted that they go find out where Xmenas was and go there. Yet that still didn't satisfy Riku. In fact, the silvernette didn't seem to even notice. In the back of her mind she was aware of Kairi using their link to contact the petite blonde but Naminé didn't reply. She couldn't...
Riku stated that Hikari didn't have time. As the silvernette's hand tightened its grip on his keyblade, Naminé looked up at him. "Riku.... Riku, please! We'll get her back, we'll do whatever it takes. I proimse! But... please, don't leave! You can't leave! Releasing your heart won't bring her back. Instead we'll loose you, too. I'll loose you." She pleaded quietly, a hand raising and grasping the material of her school shirt, clutching it tightly and pressing it against her chest. The pain lanced through her chest, pain at the thought of Riku dissapearing and pain from seeing Riku in pain. It was so much... she could feel it ache in her chest, where her heart should be. The said item was missing but she still held the feelings.
Suddenly, a meow sounded. Surprised, Naminé's eyes flickered away from Riku and towards the source. A small black cat with bright yellow eyes walked towards them, plopping itself right down between King Mickey and Riku and sitting on Way to the Dawn. A sudden realization struck Naminé. Hadn't Sora's form changed when he'd been Heartless? It had. He'd become a Heartles himself yet he still held memories. He was still himself... So, could this cat be Hikari? "Hikari?" Naminé murmured very quietly, looking down at the little cat.

the silvernette heard the blonde's cries and pleas but he tried to push them away. He didn't to focus but he couldn't. She was there, there. Touchable and real. Whereas Hikari was...she was gone. Then a small mew sounded. Riku had at first glared at the dark little creature that sat on his weapon. He didn't want that near him. Was going to strangle it if he hand to...until Naminé whispered a name. His eyes widened slightly as he looked at the dark feline. "No...Hi...ri..." her name wouldn't form properly from his lips.

Mickey looked at the small Heartless in surprise. He had never seen one like it before. A Shadow Heartless, but never in a cat form. He then looked at Namine when she said Hikari's name. "Gosh, do ya think?" he asked, still looking at the creature.
The Heartless kept still, looking up at the silvernette. When he tried to pronounce Hikari's name, it tilted its head, twitching its tail slightly in response to him and Namine saying the name.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé listened as Riku tried to pronunce the name but it wouldn't come out properly. The blonde edged closer to the cat, bending down so she was looking at it eye to eye. She heard the King as her if she thought it was Hikari. A memory stirred in Naminé, one that was her own. A recent one. Hadn't she seen a cat just like this, back on the Island? Right before Hikari showed up? Yes... yes! "Hikari." Naminé breathed out, her voice no longer uncertain.
Lifting her gaze she focused on the King. "When Sora stabbed his heart to release Kairi's trapped inside of him, he was lost to the darkness. Yet he wasn't gone completely. He had been changed. He became a creature of Darkness, a Heartless. Yet he was still himself. Perhaps... perhaps the same thing happened to Hikari." Naminé ventured aloud, turning her brilliant blue eyes back down to the cat. But question was, if that was Hikari, how did they turn her back?

Riku heard Naminé say the name again, this time with confidence. She was sure. The Nobody turned and spoke to Mickey and as she did Riku felt compelled to reach out and stroke the Heartless. What if it wasn't her? Or what if it was? Would he hate her? Surely not with how crushed he was without her. The silvernette stared at the yellow eyes, trying to understand any emotion within them but found it too impossible to read. Riku reached out with his hand until it touched the shadowed body of the cat and stroked it softly. "Hikari?" he whispered her name for only her.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi watched in awe as Lakayna transformed back into her human form. The crimsonette looked away from the girl behind the blue flames, and turned her attention to Sora. He had turned to her and noticed she had been crying. The brunette asked her what was wrong. A moment later Lakayna, now dressed, asked what had happened. Kairi wiped her face again and then looked around at Sora, Lakayna, Axel, Mulan, and Mushu. "I don't know," she answered them, "But something's wrong with the others. These are Naminé's emotions coming through me. I asked her what was wrong, but she hasn't replied to me yet. I sense something terrible has happened. Axel's right, we should regroup with the others. Come on, let's go." Kairi began walking towards the palace then stopped for a moment, turning to Lakayna. The Princess the looked at the lavender haired girl for a moment then hugged her saying, "I'm so glad you're okay Lakayna." Kairi then let go of her friend and went to walk with Sora as they all made their way up to the place to find the others. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

The Heartless leaned its head into his hand slightly when he stroked it. Standing up, it walked a few steps closer to the boy, its front paws on his lap. Feeling Riku's arms wrapped around the small body, darkness began to sweep around the two, blocking off all others from reaching them. Mickey shouted Riku's name but the darkness gave way to a flash of light before anyone could respond. Replaced by the cat, sat a girl with silver hair and the black Organization XIII coat, her arms wrapped around Riku's neck with her head buried in his chest. "Riku..... forgive me," she whispered.

Lakayna forced her legs to stand just as Kairi hugged her. "I'm...glad I am too," she replied, needing to get used to using her mouth once more for longer sentences. When Kairi let her go, the young dragon girl followed her, Sora and the rest towards the place where to others could be found. The sword stayed in lakayna's grip. When she held it, it reminded her so much of her mother, like the woman had never left. Lakayna didn't want to lose that feeling, not again. Plus, well, she didn't have anything she could sheathe the sword into anyway, so she had to carry it.

Riku hardly noticed the change in his surroundings. His mind had been so lost within himself that he really hadn't seen anything, only heard and even those that he did hear were potrayed as nothing but his subconsious speaking. For a moment the silvernette just stared blankly with surprise when his sister flashed in front of him. He almost flinched when her arms curled against his neck. She was so small and gentle. The boy glanced at her as she whispered and then his arms were around her and he was pressing his face against her hair. "F-For what..?" he stammered sadly. "I'm so sorry."

Hikari didn't want to move from Riku. Finally being free of the Darkness that shrouded her heart for as long as she could remember was too good to be true. Her eyes were still closed and was nearly too afraid to open them. After a few minutes, she realized that she had a blindfold over her face, hiding her eyes. Was she still unable to see the light? She still wasn't sure. "It was Xemnas. He made me take those hearts. I didn't want to hurt anyone," she muttered.
After a few minutes, Sora and the others eventually found where Riku, Hikari, Alexander, and Namine were, seeing Riku and Hikari hugging each other. "Umm....." he said, unsure of what to say.
Smiling at Lakayna, Axel walked with the dragon girl, taking her hand as they followed Sora and Kairi to where the rest of their group was at. Seeing Riku and Hikari, he felt about as awkward as Sora did. "Did we miss something?"
