"Hehe, Zahzi's a cool name! Where are you from? Is it nice? What are you powers??" She said a little rushed, leaning in over her food, which she took a bite of after. She grinned at him in a silly manner and giggled. She was just so excitable!
Sergey ate alone at his table in the back and finished slowly. After he was done he got up and moved to go clear his dishes and put them on the washing belt. He stood and thought for a moment before heading to the auditorium stairs and going up. He looked from side to side quickly to see if anybody were here, but he saw no one so he pushed open the auditorium door and plodded up to the empty stage and dragged out the piano. He sat down in front of it and sighed, opening the cover and brushing his fingers over the keys. Slowly he began to hit them to start playing a darker melody.

"Uhhhhhhmmm....Norway...Nice and cold...Electricity..." Zahzi answered, with an unnoticed twitch in his right eye.
When he finished his breakfast he looked at where the trays went, got up, and placed it in the pile of the other trays. He sat back down where he was, and looked at Arkell with the same expression he had as he answered her questions before.
"...Is there anything else you would like to know?" he asked, the stare turning into a friendly smile.

"Alright, then," Sam replied with a smile. "Simple plans are the easiest to follow." Taking the final swig of his pomegranate juice, he added, "But, if you feel up to a walk this afternoon, I'd be glad to accompany you." For some reason, the boy felt he should be a sort of surrogate big brother to Alwyn. Perhaps it was that, deep down, he had always wanted to be a brother to someone. Or maybe Amy was right about him.
Once those thoughts had crossed his mind, Sam noticed a rather unhappy Elaina shuffling into the cafeteria. I wonder what's wrong, he thought as he rose from his seat. "Pardon me, Alwyn, but I need to talk to another friend real quick." He gave the young girl a pat on the head and made his way to the side of his other friend. "Hey," he said, his smile rather subdued, "What's up? You seem a little down."

Having finished his breakfast, Will did not bother dawdling around any longer and left the cafeteria. He looked at the piece of paper that had his schedule. Study hall, hmm? That probably meant it was just free time. Maybe playing an instrument would ease his mood. The piano seemed the most simple since he didn't have to lug it around. Now, all he had to do was find the music rooms. Passing a teacher, Will asked and was pointed in the same building.
The musician sighed as he trudged up the stairs and paused by the auditorium doors. The boy had never been inside the place, and there seemed to be sound coming from within. He opened the door.
There was someone on the stage playing the piano. Will paused and made a mental note to himself that the auditorium held a piano.

Elaina had been staring vacantly into her oatmeal when she heard someone sit down beside her. "Huh?" She said jerking her head up when the person spoke. "Oh, it's you." she said smiling weakly to Sam. "Nothing's wrong." she said slowly spacing out again for a bit. There was a long and uncomfortable pause followed by a deep sigh from Elaina. "It's just Lite. I mean you heard about that right?" she said quietly.

"No, actually," Sam answered. "Why? What happened?" He hadn't heard anything about anyone than evening; he had gone straight to bed after talking to Marie. Nor had he heard anything that morning. Neither Alwyn nor Marie knew Lite as far as he knew, so the absent-minded student with the Mediterranean tan was never brought up in conversation. Elaina's tone and demeanor had led Sam to believe that something bad had happened, so he prepared himself for the worst, which, consequentially, would not be far from the news he was about to receive.

Elaina could feel her eyes start to sheen over as she took a deep breath. She stared at her hands in her lap. "Well, I was going for a short walk around the grounds after dinner when a sophmore ran up to me and said 'You're friends with Lite right?' I nodded and the kid said that something had just happened.
"He...he had an accident...or something I guess." she said very quietly, half mumbled, half whispered. "He was looking for some girl or something" she choked up on the word 'girl' and forced herself to spit it out. "Anyway he was in a different dorm and...and he just fell over apparently he was screaming and smoke was pouring out of his body and then he... He was in a lot of pain and.." She stopped dead now, tears were streaming down her face as her hair hid it from view. "he died. " she said even quieter than before.

"Norway? Oh wow, that's so cool!! This is my first time out of the states, and electricity is ALSO very cool, I'm fire!" She said pointing up at her firey hair for emphasis. When he got up to put his tray on the washer belt Arkell wolfed down her food and quickly did the same going and sitting back with him. She grinned when he smiled and clapped. "Hehe, you've got a nice smile! Oh, and I'm reeaally sorry if I'm annoying you, I tend to talk fast and ask to many questions when I'm excited!" She giggled and 'blushed', her hair flairing up pink, and then tapped a finger on her chin. "Hmmm....what is...your favorite color??"
Sergey continued playing for a few minutes before ending his melody with a sigh. He stood up and began to close the piano before he felt eyes on him. He looked up sharply to man/boy standing in the doorway of the auditorium, an alarmed look on his face. "Shat..."

Will was too far away to really notice Sergey's features, and the lights weren't exactly the brightest at the moment in the auditorium. It wasn't until Sergey stood up to close the piano that Will wondered if his tired eyes were fooling him into thinking that the pianist's legs were a little bit oddly shaped.
Suddenly, the pianist boy, as it seemed had said "Shat!", the word verbally echoing about the whole structure.
Will sighed. The pianist's music hadn't been so bad. A bit sad, probably not aiding his current mood. The blonde haired boy waved. "Yo." After a pause. "Pretty good."

Sam was silent for a few minutes. During this absence of sound, he opened his mouth several times, only to close it seconds later. He spent a good deal of time chewing on his lower lip, attempting to formulate a response. Eventually, the violet-locked teen succeeded in putting his thoughts into words. "I see," he began, slipping into his accent once again. "I'm...sorry to hear that. I only met him yesterday, but...he was a cool guy. I know you and Lite were good friends." Sam leaned back slightly, taking in a deep breath and releasing it. He shifted forward again, placing a hand on Elaina's wrist. "Listen... If...you feel the need to talk to someone, or yell at someone, hell, even if you need a punching bag... feel free to drop by my room. Number three on the boys' side of Building C. I'll gladly lend an ear or soft surface." He flashed a warm smile. "I'll do whatever I can to help you. We're friends, after all."

"Did I hear that someone's recently died here?" There was an uplift in a low tone, the tiny blond teenager looking over to a table nearby to her own. More different lights... of course, everyone here was most likely a mutant. Maybe a few staff might not be, but other then that...
Isabella offered a slight wave, and then her hand fumbled slightly to her drink, almost knocking it over, before grabbing it and taking a sip of before speaking again. "If I see him around, I'll let you know. It's not easy for me to see the dead, but it's happened before." Her guide was looking at her a little oddly, before shrugging lightly to Sam and Elaina. In no time, Bella was back to eating so she could finish before classes started.

"No, no. You're not an annoyance. I left Norway to escape such things." Zahzi said with a smirk.
He then leaned back, looking at the roof. "Favorite color...Favorite color...I would have to say Gray has my fancy...Always did like the thought of indifference..."

Elaina wiped her eyes with her wrist and forced herself to think of something else. "Thanks Sam." she said in barely a whisper. "I really appreciate your concern. I'm sure I'll be alright." she added. She tucked her hair behind her ears and took a deep breath, still looking at her hands. She felt embarrassed for crying and she tried not to think about it. "Do you want some oatmeal?" she asked trying to change the subject. "I don't think I can eat it and I'd hate to see it wasted when the cooks worked so hard to make it..."
Just then she heard a girl from another table mention being able to see the dead. Her head jerked up and she looked at her intently. "You see the dead?!"she asked trying to keep the desperation out of her voice.

Sighing, Huilliame watched the pouring rain from the library. He wondered what was causing it. Going back to his Discworld book, he started smiling to himself, not wanting to make a noise. He wondered if the librarian was as strict as the receptionist at the dorms. Shouted at for running in the corridors..... He'd get on over on her with his powers later.
Matt on the other hand was busy eating breakfast. He was quiet today, but that was okay. He wanted to draw attention away from himself. He saw there were new students nearby and that Elaina was talking to Sam. He was barely listening until he heard about Lite's death. Then he suddenly felt pretty crappy. He got up and went over to them "Sorry, did you say Lite died?" His face was sahking with worry.
