That is a feeling I definately understand. Not in regards to art commissioning exactly, but just roleplaying.. I tend to get bored of playing the same character all the time, and end up moving from concept to concept. Especially over Neverwinter Nights, because the option of creating a second, or third, or fourth, or fifth character is ALWAYS there. So I've ended up with my main character, Lilith Aelorothi.. then Shakaasha my evil cleric, Kalahmae my insane bard, Perappi my evil gnome blackguard, Scerenity my pally, "Mama" Ulga (bwahaha. my friends level 24ish fighter/barbarian/frenzied berserker's lesbian mother. her wife is a dwarven monk), Gwyndalyn my shadow manipulating tiefling, and Aeilli my crossdressing classical knight.

...All of that, plus my new character Llael, a rogue/duelist elf follower of Loki, cabin boy on a pirate ship.

And then all of that, plus my RL roleplay characters.. and.. yeah, it's a lot of characters o_O;
But I just get so many concept ideas, you know? ^_^;;;

Anetra - Aaah, sounds like you need a good dose of good 'ol tabletop again ^_^. Where you can really get attached to the characters 4laugh I tend to have a few nebulous ideas out there of chars that I like that were doomed to the "one-shot-sessions' that I hole away for a good campaign to flesh out. Richelle technically is a revamped version of an older character I created - I liked the part barghest idea, etc. And then I get very attached to a certain few 4laugh

zephyree - Lol - that's a cute one - though her eyes are scary! - but in the good way ^_~

Princess Nausicaa - eek Inkmo!?! I thought he was off in Japan! Duuude - small world! I went to High School with Inkmo (Johno!) I haven't seen him in almost a year now! I'm hoping he can make it back to a-kon this year... is he on Gaia?

Haha, I have tabletop games too, but... they are odd. I had one character I got raelly attatched to, that game lasted about a year before the other PC killed me ;_; and it was Oriental Adventures settings, so no raise dead, so.. yeah. 'm dead.
Now we have a continuation of that agme with dif' characters, and it's going well.
However... we tend to have more than one game running at a time ;_; We currently have four. Two DMed by my boyfriend (one Oriental Adventurse, one Forgotten Realms), one DMed by my best friend (the City of the Spider Queen module), and then an Iron Kingdoms game (IK = heart heart heart ) DMed by a friend at work who... for some reason can NOT keep a game going ;_; Every game I've been in that he's done has died unconditionally, the longest lasting one was 4 or 5 sessions sad
But the IK game he will NOT cancel ;_; We have the most awesomest characters, and will beat him to a pulp if he cancels.
AND we abducted orphans to carry our gear! =O
