"got it." Menos nodded, taking it. He nodded over at Ryudo. "Oh, and could you get some sio pao if you find any? It's good stuff, it is." Menos smirked, and they walked off. "Sio... what?" "Oh, it's a kind of dumpling sort of thing... it's like meat inside of bread. And he's right, it is good stuff." Caitiff nodded.

"Well Caitiff and I'll keep an eye out for anything on Centennial. But we'll have to see you later." He nodded. "I have some work to do. with any luck, some of the more friendly spectral types might help us out. We'll get really lucky if Okiku decides to be nice, although chances are slim." Reki nodded. "I think I'll stay with them, the time being." She said, meaning Eclipse and the gang. "Alright." Samael nodded. He looked over at Caitiff. "Hey, let's go." "Coming. hey, can I break the plates this time?" "No, I'm breaking them."

Reki looked at them, and then looked at the distance where Lucifer pointed. she squinted her eyes, trying to see what was over there. Of course, her vision wasn't much better than a humans. "Um... what's over there?"

"Hmmm... Let me look..." *Eclipse's eyes turned grey, and he stared off in that direction.* "... Doesn't look like much... It looks almost like there's a mini pyramid there..." "It was once full size, with an entrance at the base. I figured it'd be a good warmup for what's ahead. You're going to have to lift it out of the sands, though, Eclipse, because I sure won't, and few of your comrades could." "I could." *Vlad said, popping up behind Lucifer.* "As could I... well, given time. Though, admittedly, it'd be a challenge." *Aganth said, appearing in a similar manner.*

"Uhm..." Reki looked a little timid here. "I must confess, I'm not really of the combat sort of..." She muttered.
((she's not. sweatdrop She's more of the healer sort. not as good as Menos, but more dependable, that's for sure.))
"I mean, I do have a knife, but..." She looked down, feeling a little out of place. "It looks battle-suited, but I've never actually been in combat.... ever."

A bad feeling, he said." "Well that's good." she smiled. "I think it was because he knew Reki can't fight even if her life depended on it, literally." He smirked. "Hey." Reki said, looking at him with some distaste.

"Reki, the only ones who would be a burden are those who annoy me. And you most certainly do not annoy me. Anyway, Caitiff, it's good that you're coming, because we're going to a likely dangerous pyramid. I'll have to take a minute to raise it from the sands, though."

"Alright." Caitiff nodded. "As long as reki doesn't whip out that knife of hers." Reki took a bundle wrapped in cloth out of her bag. "What, you mean this?" Caitiff seemed to double back. "Woah woah woah, watch where you point that thing." It seems he's had an unfortunate account with it before. Reki shrugged, and pointed it at him without taking the cloth off. "That was your fault for going through my bag in the first place."

"Not too sure." reki said, scratching the back of her head. "You don't need to know, that thing is dangerous." "Oh suck it up." "You weren't the one that got paralyzed!" "Well, I think it was made out of part of the wall that surrounds Gile." Reki shrugged. "I seem to be okay with touching it, but other people aren't." She tilted her head at Caitiff, who suddered. "It works a little slower, but you don't need to cut anyone with it. just takes a touch. Then it sets off a chain reaction of some sort. first yu get numb all over, then you get into a really bad and painful fever, followed by paralysis, then a comatose state, followed by death." "I didn't get past the paralysis." Caitiff muttered. "She knows the cure for it, so i got lucky. The fever was hell."

But that's a combination of my natural immunity to magic and illness as well as her immense increase of that for me... And it's only barely. That's one powerful weapon." "Is it really that strong?" "So far as I can tell... and I don't want to test it..." "I believe that's enough waiting. So, are we going to the pyramid or not?"
