For a split second, Blade thought that Tobi had listened to his command. But he soon found that wasn't quite the case as the dog jumped back onto him snapping for the amulet.

"Gah!"

Sharp teeth against fingers wasn't a painless feeling at all, so he quickly dropped the object as a result. Stepping back some, he shook his hand vigorously before checking it with a hiss. No major damage of course, but he was able to see a small line of blood begin to trickle from the side of his index finger.

This didn't make him happy at all, seeing how he really tried to keep his hands from being damaged due to his line of work.

"Hey! Get back here!!"

Deciding to leave Poke with Riyo for now, Blade ran off after Tobi. With the amulet being taken away from there, he figured Riyo should be feeling fine in a moment or so. Though, it was headed towards Neko and Mitsu now, so the same might not be the same for them.

Slowing down as he neared Mitsu and Yuki, he saw how Tobi was showing the amulet off. He wasn't completely certain that Mitsu was affected by it as well yet, but he figured it'd be good to take caution about that.

"Wait, don't take the amulet..." he started while shaking his right hand again. The bleeding hadn't quite stopped just yet.

"It.. might be the cause of all the sick feelings going around."

For a second she expected riyo to lash put, but instead, she asked her to get her lunch. "Heh, sure thing" She replied, feeling somehwat better at the prospect she wasn't gonna be riyo's lunch.

She wheeled upon hearing blades shouts, and almost facepalmed. Tobi appeared quite capable of playing fetch, and now had gone back. "Tobi! thats not a playtoy!" she yelled out, and looking back at riyo she then darted off in attempts to retrieve the item before someone else had to lose their stomach contents.

As Tobi came running back with the ward in his mouth Mitsu felt her stomach start to turn. Pressing a hand to her mouth she tapped Yuki's shoulder lightly. "Down please." Was all she managed to say keeping a hand firmly over her mouth.

Once on the ground Mitsu didn't make it too far away before she was sick all over again. It was amazing there was anything left on her stomach at this point. Resting on her hands and knees she looked back at the dog as he seemed to be confused as to who to go to.

At first Tobi had hoped Mitsu had more food to give but the man holding her was quickly backing away not allowing her to take the shiny charm he had found. And then there was Hitsu calling him over, maybe she had food. He started in her direction but she too withdrew her hand not taking the item. This confused the dog as he tilted his head giving out a whine. Was it not shiny enough? It seemed really shiny, glowy actually. The people he traveled with before would have taken it by now and offered him a huge chunk of meat as his reward.

But no one took it and there was no reward leaving the canine a little perplexed about what to do. Shifting his gaze over to Mitsu he trotted over to her side giving a bit of a whine. He seemed to be concerned but he also wanted her to think he had done well. Hadn't he done well? He had brought it for her.

Through all the commotion Neko was already back with the others trying to determine what was going on. Twice now he had made it a fair piece down the road to only have to turn back. What was with all the hold up today? "What does he have?" He questioned looking at the dog as Hitsu explained it was a charm from Hanse. No wonder everyone was treating it like the plague so that would explain his and Riyo's symptoms, but why was it effecting Mitsu? She didn't seem to carry the same demonic presence that he and Riyo held not to mention she didn't have the mentality for it.

Looking to the canine Mitsu frowned. She knew that he wanted praised but wasn't sure what to think about the charm. Despite the fact that Yuki had told Blade to retrieve it she wanted to let the dog feel comforted so she held out her hand for the item. "It's okay Tobi." She said softly trying to hold back puking again while the dog was near.

This seemed to perk the dog up again as he lifted his head excitedly and dropped the item into Mitsu's open palm. Her hold on the item was only temporary, though, as it gave a sharp hissing noise upon contact with her skin forcing her to drop it. She let out a bit of a yelp and shakily looked at her now burned hand. The burn mark was in the perfect shape of the cross along her palm as it blistered up like she had just been branded.

"Careful!" Neko shouted as he ran to Mitsu' side. "That's why Yuki told Blade to get it." Shooing the dog away with his foot Neko took hold of Mitsu's arms and pulled her to her feet and away from the charm on the ground. Once she was a fair distance away he started to examine her hand. It was blistered, red, and charred in a few spots where the item had touched her as if it had been just taken off the fire. "You need to be more careful." Neko hissed as he let go of her arm and started to rummage through his bag to find what he needed to bandage up her hand.

Tobi had been a bit frightened of the yelp that Mitsu had made and backed up a bit unsure what he had done. Though he hadn't been scolded so maybe something else had happened. Then he trained his eyes on Blade as he approached and picked up the amulet and threw it. Maybe he wanted to play? Maybe he wanted him to fetch it?

Without a word of reassurance Tobi bolted after the cross in through the brush. Blade had managed to throw it a pretty good ways but with his keen nose Tobi was able to sniff it out. Taking hold of it again he ran back to the group tail wagging behind himself something fierce. Maybe now he would be rewarded?

From the depths of the lake a magical Liopleurodon caught hold of the amulet as it drifted into the murky water. Surfacing for only a moment the creature spit the item back to shore before promptly disappearing.

"I have bandages," Neko said just as he pulled them from his bag. "I just don't have anything to put on the burn." He admitted. Normally he just made the medicine outright from what was available, but this burn was bad enough that he wasn't sure anything he made would help. Taking Mitsu's hand again he examined the wound gingerly trying to be as careful as possible though small movements made her wince every once in a while. "Try to hold still." Neko said softly trying to think of what to do for the burn.

Mitsu nodded stiffly to Atticus as he approached with a bottle of some sort of medicine. Something about the medical bag and supplies seemed to spark a nervous reaction but she stood as still as possible as he explained to her what to think. That was an awfully odd scene to try and put together in her mind but before she could put much thought into it a stinging sensation ran through her hand but before she could protest to the pain her hand was bandaged up and ready to go.

Shakily she drew the appendage to her chest holding it closely. "T...thank you." She said softly knowing that he was trying to help and not hurt her. Medicine often made it feel worse before it got better.

To Atticus Neko gave a shrug. "Don't have to waste mine now," And with that he placed the bandages he had pulled out back in his bag. At least the situation had been taken care of now and Blade had managed to get rid of the item....twice. But at least the second time he seemed to have succeeded as Tobi wasn't willing to swim out and find it.
