((if you need Jack or Sun at anytime here, just post a note in here somewhere. I'm constantly floating around, keeping up with this, reading the Boone and Shannon stichomythia... I'll be online for another good 5 hours, since I have so much research to do. Gaia's always open in one explorer window, so yes. End of my rant here LOL. Wait, unless Kiyo comes around and does Jack in the meantime. Otherwise I can do Jack, unless you guys want to... oh, I've confused myself!!! You get the picture...))

((She's back in the jungle... I have an idea!))
Sun walked through the jungle, away from the beach and the caves. She didn't know exactly where she was going, she just wanted to walk for a while to get things off of her mind. She stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a soft gurgling coming from the bushes. She stepped through some brush and found Claire sitting on a log, playing with the baby. Sun sat down beside Claire and smiled at the pair before her.
"I'm sorry about having to call Boone away from you, Shannon really needs him right now," Sun said softly.
She held out her finger to the baby and the child seemed marginally amused by her motion. Sun didn't know the other girl too well, but she admired her greatly. Sun could only fathom how much strength it took not to break down. Claire was stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere, with much of her memory gone and a new baby. There was only so much one person could take. She waited for Claire to speak.
((hehe, I fixed it. Now Claire still involved! ^-^))

Claire smiled and looked at Sun.
"Oh don't worry, it's alright. I understand."
She smiled again and turned to Leslie.
"Looks like Leslie will have a friend"
She laughed abit and looked back to Sun. She bit her lower lip and looked away. The thought of Boone and Shannon together still scred her abit.

Sun looked up from where Leslie was seemingly enjoying herself and stared at Claire. She knew that Claire was thinking about Boone and Shannon. Sun wondered what she really knew. Hell, Sun herself didn't know much beyond the fact that Shannon was pregnant. It was the not knowing that was the scariest.
"Is there something wrong?" Sun asked the distracted woman.
She asked even though she knew full well what was going through Claire's mind.

Claire said as she 'came back'. She looked over to Sun and sighed. Should she tell her or not? Oh why not, after all, Sun looked liek somebody you could trust.
Claire gave her a small smiled and sighed.
"It's just .. just that I'm scared of loosing Boone. I mean, he told me he.."
She stopped and shrugged. She wouldn't bother Sun with her stupid problems.

Sun saw Claire struggle to speak her mind. There was something that Claire obviously wanted to get out, but somehow couldn't.
"You will feel better if you talk about it. Please, continue," Sun encouraged lightly.
She really did only want to help.

"See..I figured, well Shannon is pregnant and Boone's the father so"
She stopped right away and hot herself mentaly. Sun probably had no idea Boone was the father.
"oh..I-I'm-I shouldn't have said that I think.."
She said, struggling with most of the words.

Sun put a hand on Claire's arm to stop her desperate pleas to make amends.
"It is okay. I already know," she lied. "Shannon told me and Jack earlier."
Sun didn't want to make the situation any worse. She rubbed Claire's shoulder reassuringly, encouraging her to continue.

Sawyer found himself rummaging through all of the bags he had. Throwing them down agrily one at a time he pushed his hair back. "Damn it.." He mumbled. Sawyer sighed and threw one more bag open. "Yes!" He exclaimed quite loudly. Sawyer held up a partial pack of cigarettes. He about ripped the box open, rushing to grab one of the cigarettes. He finally found a book of matches and struck one. He lit it up and took a long drag as he walked outside.

Claire sighed out of relief and smiled abit.
"Well..what of Shannon wants him back or something of the sort..that would mean Boone would have to leave me and go on with her..I mean..I know this sounds selfish, but I just.."

Sun decided not to push Claire anymore. She understood perfectly how Claire felt.
"I know it is hard, this not knowing, but you have to be strong, Claire. Shannon will need Boone to be there for her. She will need all of us, including you. I know that you understand what that is like, to need someone. The important thing is that she has that support. Even though Boone is going to be there for her, I know he will not leave or forget about you. He cares about you, Claire. We all do. I promise you that no matter what happens with Boone and Shannon you will still have the rest of us here for you. I know it is not the same, but..." Sun trailed off.
She couldn't continue. Thoughts of Jin came to mind and she allowed a single tear to slip down her cheek as she comforted Claire to the best of her ability.

Triska Heather saw Sawyer coming out of his place. She went up to him, "Hey Sawyer. I was wondering if you could help me with something." Well, accerally she could use any kind of help. Even if it comes from a snotty smart mouth. OOC: I wanted her to be involved with other things, but not be going at the same people over and over again. It would feel too much like they are the only ones.

She sighed and saw the tear that fell down Sun's eye.

Sun tried to get her emotions in check.
"I think we all have long lists like that. I was just thinking about Jin. It's the same kind of situation. Only it is harder for me because I drove him away myself..." Sun trailed off.
This was turning into an emotional rollercoaster. Sun cursed the God forsaken island they were stuck on. It had ruined all of their lives.
