Yeah, but the manga pays off by having an actual ending, as opposed to the "okay, awesome, Naraku's 'dead' once more, let's end this before we bore every fan dead" ending of the anime.
Oh, and the manga's ending, while I didn't really like it (the final battle, I mean,) had a pretty good epilogue, wrapping everything up well enough.

Michiyo_Fujiwara I think I said this before, but the Anime portrays the characters a little better then the Manga... Lol, that didn't make sense... Well, its like they look better on Anime, is what I meant to say sweatdrop ... lol ya the manga covers showed that the drawing of the manga was old-ish ._. lulz reminds me of the first few eps of ranma for some reason xD

I asked her what happened with everyone and she said she didn't remember. sweatdrop

Inuyasha was my first anime also. I wish the episodes where as long as the manga though.

Manga is far better than anime, as happens to anything by Rumiko Takahashi.
She's just got this problem with giving her anime a proper ending.
I was quite impressed by the manga's ending, though. Final battle was very good, and aftermath closed everything up nicely (and, unless you knew Rumiko's works often go, it could also be unexpected.)
