"Hey, you alright? You should just sleep, it will be easier on you." Lex said to Luxran. 'Oh, he can't understand me...' She looked at Zinc, "You do know your going to have to translate for me, right?"

Shaydra Silversky slept in a tree, hidden in the foilage. She woke up at the sound of a commotion and sleepily wondered what had happened. Then she heard many voices, not those of the woodland critters, but human voices.
What's going on? she wondered a bit less drowsily. I have not been here for long, but it is clear that nobody comes here except for that elf. She rose silently and leapt from tree to tree, trying to find the source of noise.

Lex could hear the trees rusling. Her ears turned to pick up the sound, "Someone else is coming." She turned quickly into a human, laying Luxran down on the ground. "Who goes there?" She said into the woods.

Shaydra stopped at the voice and crouched deep into the tree, wincing at the rustling of the leaves. "I am only one who does not want to hurt anybody," Shaydra called back. "Are you friend or foe?"

"Friend, if you can help us get out of here." She called, still not being able to see the stranger. She wondered if this was really smart, but figured she could fight what came and protect her new found friends.

"Great!" Shaydra jumped out of the tree, and for a few moments her silhouette was outlined by the sun. Then she snapped open her wings and glided down to the small group. "Who are you and how have you come to this place?" Shaydra inquired. "It is not often that people come to this forest, except that elf."
Then she glanced at Luxran. "Oh no, what happened to him?" she exclaimed. "Is there anything I can do to help him?"

"I think he just needs to rest." Lex turned her head to Luxran and sighed. "We need to get to a near by town, but we can't get out of this forest. Can you help us with that problem?"

Shaydra nodded. "I think I can. The nearest town is not far from here." She nodded eastward. "That direction, toward the rising sun. Would you mind if I joined your group for the time being?"

"Uh..well,yeah sure." Lex stammered. She shifted into a horse agian and out Luxran on her back. She flipped her head towards the dragon, motioning her to lead the way.

Shaydra dropped down onto all fours and started loping towards the east. She called over her back, "Oh, and I forgot, my name is Shaydra Silversky. What do you go by?"

Lex said nothing. Shaydra would not be able to understand her anyway, but she made a mental note to tell her when she was human.
