Opening up the combat, gaorin sweeps in cutting into Chik'tith and then delivering a second solid blow, causing him to fall. Chik'tith is unwilling to go down alone, and in his frenzied charge manages to deliver the same treatment to gaorin, hitting and smashing for a total of 17 damage.
Steven is able to redirect his attack to one of the warriors, dropping it easily. imperial cuts into a second warrior, barely taking it out of the fight.
Seeing an easy target, two warriors team up on Cho, trying and failing to break his sturdy defense. imperial is likewise attacked by a pair, while Steven is only hit by one. imperial is teamed up on for 12 damage, while Steven is hit and smashed for 5 damage.
Gaorin: 0/15 Life, 3 AP, 6 MP. UNCONSCIOUS.
Cho Aran: 12/30 Life, 4 AP, 6 MP. (Defense +3.)
Steven: 17/25 Life, 6 AP, 6 MP.

Watching Gaorin fall seemed like an invisible dagger stabbing him. They now had a lower chance of succeeding in their mission. Spinning around on the first warrior attacking him, he swung with all his might bashing it in the face before blocking the other goblin warrior.

Steven didn't notice Gaorin falling, due to the fact he wanted to get this battle over with. He decided he wouldn't take out his enemy, which would open himself up to helping his 2 (or 3 as he thought) companions. He stabs his blade into the enemy that was attacking him.

The three remaining warriors each attack one target. One uselessly flails at Cho, getting taken down by the hero's powerful shield counter-attack. Another attacks Steven, doing 1d6+4 damage with his attack and a smash before getting dropped to the ground himself. The last rushes imperial, who barely takes the creature down with his (minimum damage combat dice) attack, hitting for 1d6+2 with his attack and smash.
Combat done.

Steven, after taking down his own goblin, looked around to see how the others were doing. It was at that point that he noticed Gaorin unconscious. Steven searched his belt for some potion or anything to bring him back, but to no avail. He looked to the others. hoping they might have something, or know some spell to bring him back...

Looking around at the goblins Cho shook his head. "I don't know much about potions or reviving so I think our best bet is to progress and get him back to town as soon as possible for aid." Wiping the greenish goblin blood off his shield Cho began searching for any items that might help them.

The goblin you rescued looks at the goblin sergeant who you felled. "Good riddens to Chik'tith, but if you find out you managed to kill him, they won't take you lightly. Your friend looks like he's still alive. The cave dwellers have to have some way to revive people; you always have to fight one of them more than once."

Steven raised his head in interest.
"Can you take us to these caves?" Steven asked. He looked towards the others to see if they had any objections. He didn't suspect there would be, but he felt he was obligated to ask them anyway.
