Atalya nodded, satisfied, and smiled.
"I suppose you'll be leaving after breakfast then," she commented, her tone light once more. "Will you be needing a guide to the plantation? As I recall, Triton is the only one of you who has ever been there, but things have changed very much since then. The desert is now in full desert stage rather than transition, and the topography changes almost daily."

"Probably," Yue finally spoke up, "It might not have been long for us back home, but it's enough passing of time, and... who knows for us how much things have changed."
The only problem with returning even after a week or so.

"If there is someone who doesn't mind going with us," Triton added.
Since he wasn't sure who would be willing to go along, he was hoping that Gion would be here, but he hadn't held his breath on that one.

"I wouldn't mind going with you," Elrohir called from the other end of the table. "I may not be able to go after the men myself, but I will do all that I can to help you, even if it's just to lead you to the plantation, to Nadya, the one person who can help you the rest of the way."
He rose from his chair and moved to join the others.

Atalya looked at Elrohir thoughtfully and nodded.
"Very well, Elrohir," she murmured. Then she looked at Donovan, Triton and Yue. "If you have no objections to his presence, that is."
She knew that after what had happened the last time they had been together, they may be harboring ill will towards him - and with reason.

"It's fine," Triton replied with a smile at Elrohir, "Thank you for your help," he nodded slowly.
Elrohir was a good guy, if not... well... Triton couldn't call him ignorant, they just had really large culture differences and he knew it. However, the guy's heart was in the right place, since Serenity wasn't awfully scared of him, it meant the guy had to be good. The neko glanced at Donovan, since that was his only worry.
Yue would be indifferent, no matter if he seriously disagreed with Elrohir or not, he would accept the help.

"I don't have a problem with it," Donovan replied going to his meal.
The guy had changed anyhow, grown up a bit. It didn't mean there probably still wouldn't be any clashing, but Donovan still viewed Elrohir as someone younger than him, but wiser now. Though he wouldn't be able to think that way for long.

Elrohir wasn't exactly sure how he felt about being so quickly accepted by them. Grateful that they weren't harboring a grudge, as he might have been, had he been in their place; relieved, definitely; but also perhaps a bit anxious.
Though he couldn't say why.

"As soon as possible," Triton replied, "We'll probably go after breakfast, after," he added, "We change into clothes more suitable for the weather."
He knew Donovan especially needed that seeing as the man normally wore black. Even though that coat of his had never hampered the man, Triton didn't want to explain the sunstroke to his mother.

Elrohir nodded brusquely. "Then I'll go now and pack," he told them. "I shall be waiting for you at the front gate."
It would be easier than trying to track them down after they went who knew where to change their clothes. With this thought in mind, he left the room and headed for his chambers.

"Do you have clothes of your own to wear?" the queen asked curiously. "Or shall I have some given to you? I'm sure we have something that would suit. I know you've traveled the desert before, but it is far hotter now than it was then."
She raised one hand slightly, and a manservant appeared at her elbow, ready to do whatever it was she asked him to: get clothes for their guests, or show them to a room where they could change.

"I have silks and so does Yue from the last time he was here," replied Donovan, "But Triton only has cotton and wool clothing, they're thin, but those won't help and don't argue with me," he told Triton bluntly.
The man avoided Helen like the plague, and Triton was a simple fellow, so he didn't even like to as it were, waste on silks when cotton would do him fine. However, silks would probably be the best for travelling in this case.

Triton closed his mouth, as Donovan beat him to it before he could say anything. Though he would like to argue with the older man, Donovan probably knew what he was talking about. Hell, who was he kidding, he didn't know much about Donovan only that he travelled as much as his mother did.

Atalya nodded and turned to the manservant, speaking with him quickly in her own tongue. Then she turned back to her guests.
"Triton," she said, smiling, "if you will follow Tymar, he will bring you some clothes that I'm sure will fit you. I hope you don't mind if they were pre-worn, they used to be Earendil's when he was younger; but they're in excellent condition, he just grew out of them too quickly."
