Dropping Off Ann

Gabriel sighed as he lead a young pheasant up the walkway to a slightly familar door. He remembered it from Tenshi showing him the way a few times, so he was pretty positive he got the right house. He then reached up and gently rapped his knuckles agianst the door, before looking down at Ancelin.
"You behave while your here Ancelin, don't go picking on Sjajani."

"I wont." An said as she carried two suit cases.. one with cleaning sapplies, one with her belongings. She then adjusted her pigtail by tossing it back over her shoulder, before she sighed.
"You might have to ring the doorbell. It gets kinda loud in there."

Surprisingly, the door opened on the first knock, revealing an amused looking Asper, black eyes instantly locking with Ancelin's mismatched ones.

"Hey gorgeous."

She didn't acknowledge Gabriel, her grin focused on the younger girl. A split-second later, another shadow darkened the doorway. At 6'2" Dakota Reever was an extremely tall, fit woman. Her skin the same golden-brown as Indu's, only covered with thin scars. Her gaze was mismatched, left eye the color of Spes' and right of Indu's, and the blank expression on her face was the opposite to her younger sister's overly expressive one. Despite the fact that her waist-length red hair was a shade so dark, it was almost black, she looked like an older, tougher version of Indu, or, Kali, as she used to be known. Her eyes were on Gabriel, and she folded her arms across her chest. She wasn't talkative.

Gabriel made a soft grin when the first girl addressed Ancelin, he was glad she'd have some friends here during her stay. But his expression matured when the woman came to the door, and he cleared his throat.
"Good day. Is Indu home? I called earlier asking if Ancelin could stay for a few days, but I wanted to double check and make sure it's still fine." He said formally, nodding his head to the little girl beside him.

Ancelin's face lit up when she saw Asper, blushing after she spoke to her.
"Hello Asper! <3" She said with an affectonate gaze, before rushing forward and hugging the girl around the waste.
"Tenshi's got herself locked up in the slammer, so I get to stay with you for a few days! <3"

Her lip curled up briefly, revealing a flash of vang, and the dhamphir spoke, voice low and dangerous. She didn't know either of these people, and although Asper seemed to be fond of the girl, the male had yet to be verified.

"You cannot see her."

Asper slid an arm around Ancelin, then glanced up at Dakota, pride on her face. Her aunt, whom she'd only met recently, was a real badass.

"Can we go in, Dakota?"

A slight nod from the older woman, and they were through the door, leaving the adults to talk things out. Asper hoped that Gabriel didn't try to take control of things, after all, he probably had no idea who Dakota was...

Gabriel watched with a concerned eye as Ancelin went inside, taking her things along with her. His gaze then returned to the older woman, not being particularly phased by the woman's threatening behavoir besides the fear that Ancelin wouldn't be able to stay with her friends.

"I see.. Well, I don't want to leave Ancelin here if she isn't welcomed." He then paused, thinking of what would be the apropriate thing to say next.
"If she's imposing, I can just take her back home and find her someplace else to stay while Tenshi and I are away.. Unless Indu's already told you to expect her?"

"Kali is not able to tell anyone, anything... Sensibly... At the moment."

Dakota paused, and was about to say more, shoo Gabriel away, most likely, when a tousel-headed, blue eyed woman appeared at the redhead's side, a gigantic grin brightening her face. Jonargaris, Dakota's demonic familiar.

"Hullo, sir! 'Kota, I heard somethin' bout Tenshi? I got told that anyone that has to do with her is welcome."

The dhamphir didn't look particularly pleased by this new bit of information, but stepped back out of the doorway anyways.

"Come in."

Gabriel looked down to the knew woman and presented a pleasant smile, bowing his head to the girl.
"I thank you, miss." He said, before stepping inside. He made sure to stay close to the wall so he wouldn't be in the way, as his eyes skimmed the room. He then addressed the smaller woman agian, figuring he'd find out what he needed from her alot easier than the taller, more butch woman.
"So it's alright if Ancelin stays here for about five days?"

Ancelin had already gotten herself comfortable, and was currently clinging and hugging on Asper, while trying to avoid other filthier children in the room.
"Can I stay in your room, Apser? <3" She asked as she cooed, feathers fluffing out to show her excitement.

Not smart. Dakota was the boss, professionally, and in their more domestic relationship, and Jo widened her eyes, looking to Dakota for an answer as she reached over to the taller woman, tying her long hair back in an attempt to sooth her. Don't upset the overprotective dhamphir. Still, Dakota found Ancelin harmless enough; prey.

"Yes."

Joey looked gleeful, and grinned once more at Gabriel.

"Who're you? I'm Jo, an' this is Dakota, she's Kali's big sister. Kali thought she was dead!"

--------

Asper petted Ancelin's hair absent-mindedly, turning something over in her mind, but nodded with a friendly smile.

"Of course you can Anny, I've only got one bed though, is that okay?"

Sjajan took that moment to wander inside, mud caking her clothing and forearms, potted plant in hands.

"'Ey Anny."

Her brown eyes were, however, on her sister.

"Kali?" Gabriel breifly questioned, before he shook it off his mind. He then took another small bowl, adjusting his robe.
"Ah, how rude of me. I'm Gabriel Kuronaho, Tenshi's Master.. I sappose I'm like her legal gaurdian, and I have to get her out of trouble now that she's in prison." He then paused, figuring they didn't know who the girl that came with him was ether.
"And the little girl I was with is Ancelin, one of Tenshi's adopted children."
---------------------------------------

Ancelin's cheeks grew red when Asper sugjested them sharing the same bed, but none the less gave a quick firm nod, enjoying the stroking.
"Yes! Of coarse that's fine! <3" She beamed, giving a all too happy sigh. Finally, she'd be around someone she actually LIKED.

.... But that also meant you had to take the good with the bad. She then grimaced when she saw a particularly FILTHY Jani come in, waving to her casually.
"Hey Jani.. Looks like I'm going to be staying with you guys for a few days."

The irises of Dakota's eyes instantly grew, turning them both black, and a low hiss came from her, as she tensed, hands going to her weapons. An instant reaction to the word 'master.' Jo, recognizing the symptoms of her vamping out, brought her hand back, and slapped the other woman across the cheek. Hard.

"Not like that, 'Kota!"

Those scars all over Dakota Reever's body were whipmarks, from when she'd been a slave. The slap brought her back to her 'senses' and she took a deep breath releasing her weapons. Disaster everted.

"Dakota has issues with the word 'master,' Gabe. Don't worry about it. She's in prison? Why?"

-----

Asper smirked at Jani, arm tightening around Ancelin's waist in an affectionate squeeze. Sjajan and she had actually gotten into a fight that morning about the pheasant girl. Who one? Wasn't clear yet. The blonde simply turned a dark, angry shade, and walked past them silently, down the hall.

"Alright, glad that's chill. Want to grab something to eat with me later? I'm going out for a bit."

She was supposed to hook-up with Shade.

Gabriel tensed a bit when the taller woman seemed to go hostle on him, before he questioned weather it was a GOOD idea or not to leave Ancelin here in their care.. He then glanced over to An in the other room, figuring she'd be save if she had Asper and Jani to cling to.
"You know Spes and Sita? Tenshi's in trouble for fathering them, pretty much. It's agianst Reaper laws to impregnate a mortal.. So now I have to get her pardoned."
--------------------------------

Ancelin's cheeks where dark red, so it was nearly impossible to get redder when Asper squeezed her. But she smiled broaded none the less. She then looked to Jani and nodded, that sounded cool.

"Yeah, we can both get baths later and go to dinner. That sounds fun." She smiled. She liked hanging out with Jani, so long as she was clean.. Like Asper <3

The smile that lit Dakota's gorgeous face was rare, and real. She loved her niece and nephew, and they seemed to like her back. Gabriel went up a notch in her book, and she grudgingly forgave his previous error. Joey was never upset and reached out to pat Gabriel's arm.

"We'll take good care of Miss Anny. 'Kota's a little gruff, but she loves children."

------------------------

Actually, the first thing Jani had gone to do was take a shower, and it could be heard running. Asper's smile turned wry, and she nodded, pulling the smaller girl into a full-frontal hug and kissing her cheek.

"You can go put your stuff in my room, I need to use the phone."

Gabriel smiled and gave a soft sigh, nodding his head.
"I'm greatly releived. I've had to split the children up amung Tenshi's friends, sense I will be unable to care for them in Tenshi, Vincent, and my own absense. If you have any troubles, feel free to call the house. Shelly -our nanny of sorts- will be able to assist you with anything Ancelin might need." He then looked down at his watch, frowning.
"I'm very sorry, but if you don't mind. I should really be heading out, I have to start sorting files for Tenshi's trial."
-----------------------------------

Aprently Ancelin's face could grow darker, as the blush spread over her entire face and down her neck. She then quickly attempted to shake it off, while hugging Asper in return.
"Okay!" She beamed, before taking her two suit cases. She then rushed off to Asper's room, remembering it from previous play dates. She almost seemed to be glowing.

I don't feel so well..

Ancelin grunted as she pushed up her shirt sleeve, bent over the side of the tub with her hair braided up in a bun.
"Disgusting!" she groaned as she scrubbed out a dirt wring around the tub, it wasn't there the last time she went to the bathroom. But this time, someone obviously very messy had taken a bath. And An was taking it upon herself to make sure it was clean.

With a loose sniffle she sprayed a can of scrubbing bubbles along the tile, before going at it with a Mr. Clean eraser pad, before she let out a loud sneeze.
"ACHO!"

A sparkling clean Jani had crept up behind Ancelin, and now planted both hands on the older girl's shoulders, surprisingly firmly, although not enough to hurt. She'd taken a bath only a short while ago, and had come back once she was clothed. The potato-sin was cleaning up around the house far more than usual, and though she'd never admit it, it was only because she knew that if SHE didn't AN would.

"Hey..."

A small frown darkened her pretty face and she squeezed Ancelin's shoulders before letting go and stepping back, subtly holding them up to reveal their cleanliness.

"I wahz gun' do tha."

Ancelin jumped a bit, having not expected Jani, and spun around to see her. She let out a sigh of releif and smiled, but it was mostly because the girl apeared to be spotless.

"Ah, that's okay Jani. I dun mind cleaning around th' house while I'm 'ere." She said with a smirk. It seemed in her short time being there she was already beginning to pick up a little bit of their accent.. Well, actually it was just that she was getting conjested and was having difficulty speaking.
"What's up? We should probably talk out in the hall, so all these fumes dun hurt ya." She said with a sniffle, whiping her nose on a little peice of toilit papper.

Jani raised a brow, but restrained herself from mentioning that the fumes were probably going to end up hurting Ancelin more in the long run, and instead opened the bathroom door, allowing the other girl to exit first. Sjajan was maturing mentally, if not physically, and she was beginning to worry about Ancelin. The girl seemed to be getting weaker everyday, and although no one else seemed to notice, Sjajan did. She always knew what was going on with the pheasant Sin'Aeis. Always.

"I shuh' ask YOU wha'z ahp. Yah 'kay, Anny?"

Anny walked out of the room sniffling, before she leened agianst a table with her palms down agianst the top. She whiped her nose with her hankey and looked to Jani, a bit confused.
"Sure I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?" She asked before she gave out a little cough.

"Th' cleaning spray just gets ta me sometimes, that's all." She tried to make excuses, but truth be told she had been sniffling, sneezing, and coughing all day. She had even taken a nap earlier, and naps where way out of Ancelin's character.
"Why do ya ask?"

"Buhcuz yah been slee'ee, 'n kawfin', 'n snee'in fer ah while now, 'n... 'N I'm worried 'bout yah."

Jani folded her arms across her tiny chest, for once not wearing overalls, but a brown and green hooded shirt and torn and battered, pale blue, jeans, feet bare. The girl had been spending a lot more time on her own than usual, and had been becomming quieter, as if her personality had begun to fade since first Asper, than Ancelin, had moved into the Reever household.

Ancelin blinked, before she let out a little bit of a smile. She did find Jani incredibly annoying, but she apreciated the concern.
"I'm 'kay, Jani. Promise. Just all th' cleanin I been doin here's got me a bit stuffy." She said trying to reassure, waving a hand dismissivly in the air.

Within a few moments though the hand that was waving went up to her head, rubbing the side of it as she let out a little groan. She was feeling dizzy.
"Tell ya what tho'. Why don't we go out an' get some fresh air? Get some Mac's or something so I'm away from these fumes? Gabriel gave me some spending money." She sugjested, knowing it'd probably make the little potato girl feel better, and hopefully herself aswell.

Jani nodded slowly, agreeable, concern obvious in the darker than usual brown of her eyes, and the slight frown that'd replaced the bright grin she'd always worn as a babe, and in the beginning stages of her toddler-hood. Now, though, that beam was becoming a rarity, and Jan had stopped playing with her Sin friends as much, doing other, secretive activities instead. She didn't think anyone noticed, or cared, and the truth was, she was probably right.

The girl also had money, as she helped garden for the neighbors, and had nothing to spend it on, really. She would spend it on more gardening supplies, but she didn't need too.

"'Kay, grah a sweah'er firs'?"

Sjajan was even going to put on shoes.

Ancelin nodded her head and turned to walk down the hall, grabbing her blue button up sweater that had been laying over the side of a couch. She was already wearing her black mary janes, all she had to do was take off her aprin and slip on her jacket, which she did. She then paused and looked back at Jani, pulling her single bluebraid out of her jacket and down her back.
"Is there any place ya would rather go to thin Mac's?" She asked, before letting out another little sneeze.

Having darted into her room to pull on socks and dark brown boots, the girl pulled surprisingly girly, long blonde hair into a loose ponytail as she rejoined Ancelin, shaking her head and shrugging. She actually hated fastfood, being a sort of health-nut in a weird way. It was more like she liked organic food, simply because she trusted what she could grow herself. That, and she was a vegetarian. Still, she wasn't about to complain. She simply wanted Ancelin out of the house, and the fact that the older girl was willing to share her company was more than enough for Sjajan.

"Naw anythin' yah wan' ez fahn."

The tan Sin tugged on a small zip up, cotton brown vest from a hook by the door and put it on, zipping it up part of the way before opening the door for Ancelin. There was no real need to announce where they were going, since as long as they were back before curfew, it was alright.

Ancelin smiled and gave a playful cirtsy to Jan as she opened the door, before she walked outside with her hands in her pocket. Under her vest you could see where her yellow knee high skirt was ruffling out.

Once she was out on the patio she tucked her hands into her pockets and faced the direction on the sidwalk they needed to go in, waiting for Jani.
"Hey Jani, you got anyone you like?"

A slight lifting of the corner of her mouth was the response to Ancelin's curtsy, and Sjajan carefully shut the door. She turned Ancelin's question over in her mind for a few seconds silently as she joined the other girl and started down the sidewalk, hands in her back pockets, brown eyes thoughtful as they moved over the neighboring houses.

"'Pendz on whut yah mean."

Ancelin smirked as she began to walk along beside her companion for the outting, her own hands tucked into her pockets. She also idly looked at the houses, having not been too familer with the other houses in the area.

"I mean do ya have anyone ya like? Ya know, like a crush? A cute boy down the street you'd like to kiss with or anything?"

Two could play the question game. And, unlike her previous self, Sjajan wasn't as forthcoming with the truth. She still didn't lie, but she didn't randomly spout information when asked. It'd hurt her a lot, actually, in her young life. Naturally, she smiled, albeit wryly, and shot Ancelin a somewhat amused glance.

"Why yah askin'?"

It wasn't as if they were friends, and it wasn't as if it was Ancelin's business. They both knew that.

Ancelin shrugged as she continued to grin, before she turned a corner that lead to their destination.
"Just curious. Honestly, with all the time we seem to spend together, I realise I really don't know that much about you." She then turned her two tone gaze towards Jani, lips curled up towards her right cheek.

"You DO Have someone you like, don't you? Spill the beans, spud." She teased, playfully elbowing her.

Jani scowled slightly, though it was obvious she wasn't really upset with Ancelin, and gently pushed the other girl's arm, moving her a bit away before shaking her blonde head.

"Naw, yah dun't. An' yah, I do. Buh.... S'naw yar concern."

That was said with a smile designed to let Ancelin know that Sjajan knew EXACTLY how annoying Anny thought she was, and that she couldn't be expected to know ANYTHING about her.

"Dun trubble yahself."

Ancelin's smile dimmed into a small frown as she looked to the toddler, before she nodded and looked forward agian, quickly crossing a little street. Once she got to the other side she let out a few little coughs, before whiping her first on the side of her dress.
"mmmm..." She moaned, continueing to walking ahead.

"What ya think is gonna happen to Shi..?" She said, completely changing the subject. "All Gabriel told me waz she's in th' big house and he's gotta get 'er out.. But a bunch o' big guys came and took 'er away. Along wit this skinny guy that I sware was queer." She said with a laugh. How the hell a toddler understood a term like THAT would most definately interest the imprisioned mother figure spoken of.

Sjajan wasn't sure she liked that way Ancelin spoke of those people, especially the way she said that insult, whatever it meant, anyways. The blonde shrugged, and blew a strand of hair from her eyes as her expression became neutrally quizzical, eyes darkening with worry.

"I'm naw verra worried 'bout Shi, th' wuhm'n kin 'andle 'erself. Buh yer naw 'kay."

Brown eyes flicked past the golden arches not too far ahead to an actual store, and she gently reached over to tug on Ancelin's sleeve.

"I thin' we shou' go summare 'sides Mac's. S'naw goo' far yah."

There was a small pause, and before the other girl could answer, she threw out a question.

"Wah'za "kweer"?"

Ancelin paused in her walking at Jani's sugjestion, before she began looking around.
"That's cool. I'm not that fond of it myself ether, makes your hands all oily.." She then looked further down the road by it.
"You like subway? That's sapposed ta be good for ya." She sugjested, pointing down at the little white building.

When she was asked the question though, she paused, thinking of the best way to explain it.
"Sayin it like I did dun really mean nutin. Just dat he aent manly. Bu' Gabriel says queer means strange, and Vin-vin says it means yer a boy that likes other boys insteada gurlz." she said with a nod.

"Ah... Shawr."

Did Ancelin not know that Sjajan was a vegetarian? Sandwhiches usually included meat, although Subway DID have a good vegetarian option... Not that Jani knew that, since she'd never been there before. Still, at least she'd gotten the pheasant girl to turn down Macdonald's. As she analyzed the older girl's answer, she gave a brief smile of understanding before leading the way to the more health-friendly restaurant.

"I gawt fahmly lye' thah, 'aven' yah?"

"I hear they got some good vegie subs too." Ancelin said, actually knowing something about Jani. But she only guessed that from the fact she never saw Jani eating meat while she was there.

An thought for a moment at the second question though, running her mind down the list of men she lived with. Gabriel? Nah.. Oliver? Don't think so. Sesshomaru? Vincent? Heeeell no. Arukoru? Nah, he had a thing for Onii.
"Ah... Dun think so. I know Shi likes yer ma tho. She never stops talkin bout her."

"Ma... ehz a tad 'ayzee 'ight now. Tha's why 'Kota 'n Jo are 'ere. Buh she lykz 'er back, ah know."

Jani suppressed her surprised at Ancelin's knowledge of her distaste for meat products, the only sign being the slight widening of her eyes, and tiny flicker of a pleased smile before she quickened her pace. This was amazing. They'd spent over 15 minutes together without fighting, washing, or crying. Progress, some would say.

Ancelin sped up a little to keep up with Jani, before she quickly crossed the street to the subway, looking out for cars.
"I'm sure that'll make Shi happy. She'z been real sad lately." She said, before opening up the glass door for Jani, holding it.
"Youngest first." She said playfully, closing her yellow eye in a wink.

While she was holding the door open Ancelin dug into the little pocket in her vest, pulling out a change purse. She opened it up and peered at the roll of bills inside it.. Oh yeah, she had plenty to cover their meal.

"Mmph! I'm tall'r 'n mah 'air's lon'r too!"

So there, Miss Older. Sjajan actually grinned at Ancelin, something she hadn't done in weeks, and strolled inside, eyes moving from the tables to the counter, to the menu in a matter of split-seconds.

"I knaw wah I wan'."

Ancelin stuck her tounge out at Jani, before she flicked her pony tail over her shoulder.
"Is not! Mine's longer!" She pouted, before she said something else.
"Okay.. Hey Mister! We know what we want!" She said to the man behind the counter, who had to peer over to see them. She then looked to Jani and grinned.
"Ya first, Ima think a min more."

Sjajan rolled her eyes, not about to comment that her hair was too longer, and turned brown eyes up to the man, a cheerful smile now on her face. He couldn't seem to help but smile back at her, and asked her what he could get her.

"I wahn yeh vejahtareeahn sahb."

Surprisingly, he seemed to understand her, his tan, freckles, and general country look letting it slip that he probably was used to that particular slur. In fact, when he spoke, it was with a familiar accent.

"Ahn' fer you, Miss?"

His gaze was directed to Ancelin, smile warm. Cute kids, they were.

Ancelin looked at the menue for a moment, before she nodded and watched Jani order. Once it was her turn she batted her eyes at the man innocently, before she crossed her arms behind her back.
"I'd like a chicken sub with lettuce and mayo and pickles please!" she beamed.. She was good with strangers apearantly.

She then scooted down to wait inline, watching as the man made them.

The man quickly made them, then packaged them and handed the sandwhiches to Jani before ringing them up.

"Yah total is 9.97, little ladies."

Sjajan reached into her back pocket, where her cash, unfettered by wallet or otherwise, resided, pulling out her surprisingly large wad, and reaching to peel off a $10 bill.

"I gaw' et, Anny..."

Anny blinked as she had been holding her change purse the entire time, before looking to Jani.
"Ya sure? .. Kay, but I get it next time." She said with a nod as she tucked the purse back into her vest, and held the subs so she could pay the man.

While Jani was paying, An's eyes browsed the restront, looking for where they could sit.

Sjajan quirked a brow, not remarking on the fact that there possibly wouldn't BE a next time, not when Ancelin moved out and went back to avoiding Jani, anyways. The girl put her change in the penny cup, and trailed after Ancelin, sliding into a booth by a large window, so she could peer curiously at the plants in the building's small garden.

"Dah YAH lyk enywahn, Anny?"

Of course she did
.

Ancelin finished filling up a soda cup and sat down acrossed from Jani, idly opening up her sub and making sure all the ingrediants was nice and neat. She then let out a little sniffle, listening to Jani's question.

"Do I like anyone..?" She asked, before she whiped her nose with her hankey.
"Hmmmm... I guess there's a couple people I kinda like.." She said with a grin, before taking a large bite from her hogee*

Sjajan herself had gotten some orange juice, and took a slow sip of that, gaze still on the greenery outside as she smiled somewhat ironically.

"Yah? Gunn' tell meh who?"

The girl made a mental note to take a clipping of a plant outside she'd never seen before on their way home, and sat back, attention now on Ancelin.

Ancelin smiled slyly as she took a sip from her drink, looking over at Jani.

"Nope!" She said with a smirk, before taking another bite of her sandwhich, chewing away contently.
"Snome orv vour conbern.. ight?" She winked as she chewed, before swallowing, repeating the process.

Sjajan stared at the other girl, jaw dropped for a silent second, before she burst into startled laughter, arms going to hold her middle as she calmed herself. Oh god, she had deserved that...

"Mmmn. Yah, I'll gev' yah tha'un.... Huh."

Maybe a trade of information?

"Ef... Ef I tell yah who I lyk, wehl yah tell meh?"

Ancelin smirked as she chewed, nodding her head as she chewed on a good mouth full of her chicken sandwhich, giggling.
"Sfure.. Buff.." She then swallowed, speaking mid chew.
"You gotta go firist th... th..." Ancelin was interupted mid sentance by her sandwhich getting lodged in her throat, and she began hitting her chest with her throat.

Ancelin's eyes then grew wide as she realised it wasn't going down, and she began coughing, grabbind hold of her throat with both hands, going red in the face.
"Jani... Can't... breath.."

Just because you're not happy with a person, doesn't mean you're going to let them die. And this was a lesson to children everywhere: There's a REASON manners exist, and a REASON you're not supposed to speak with your mouth full. Sjajan had good table manners. Sjajan didn't choke. The girl had also helped save a sibling or two before, so she actually knew what to do.

The younger girl had slid from her seat in less than a second, and pulled Ancelin from hers, dropping from the other girl's body weight to the floor. Unlike a usual situation where one would simply squeeze the person around their middle, Jani wasn't strong, or big enough to hold Ancelin up and do that. She had to choose the other option.

Step one: Clear their airway. It was luckily that this situation wasn't the other way around, with Jani choking, because unlike Ancelin, the potato-sin didn't worry about whether things were sanitary. This wasn't. An was turning colors, and Sjajan had to do what she had to do. She wasn't about to lose the other girl, even if she was a brat. Tilting An's head in her lap, Jan opened her mouth as widely as possible, and actually slipped her fingers in there, doing exactly what she'd been taught and physically removed the food, before shifting An's head to KEEP the airway clear, just in case.

Step two: Check for a pulse. There definately was one, no need to check, and Sjajan leaned down, muttered a quick apology, and pressed her mouth to Ancelin's, giving her the kickstart of air she needed to expand her ribcage so Jani could remove any other traces of food.

Step three: Finish it up. Sjajan placed her small palms one over the other, and firmly pressed down three times on Ancelin's chest, to make anything else she'd missed come up.

Ancelin's eyes grew wide as Jani pulled from her stool, still holding her throat. But she was getting weak and lightheaded from the lack of air, and had soon gone limp. Thankfully she was too out of it to realise what Jani was doing.. untill her lips where locked with hers.

"MMMFPH!" She mumbled, and as soon as Jani had done compressions she started hacking and coughing, while gasping for the air she could now breath agian. She held her head as she continued coughing, looking to Jani.
"Drink.. coff coff! Please COFF!"

By now, other patrons, including the nice counterman had noticed, and it was only a second or two before someone shoved a cup of water into Sjajan's hands, and the girl held it out, a gently relieved expression in her eyes.

"'Ere..."

The crowd was busy murming and muttering, but Sjajan was busy herself, ingnoring them, that is.

Ancelin took the up and sat up, quickly sipping it and washing down anything else clogging up her throat, before she let out a loud gasp, her wings brisling.
"Thanks Jani.. That's never happened to me before." She said as her pale olive cheeks turned pink, and then dark red as she realised Jani had just KISSED her practically.

Needless to say her eyes quickly reverted to the cup of water in her hands.

Sjajan's brows shot skyhigh when Ancelin colored, and she was about to say something, when the man from behind the counter tapped her shoulder.

"Hey, little miss, shoul' Ah be callin' yahr paren's?"

Jani shook her head smiling slightly.

"Naw 'e're alrigh'..."

She was ignoring the people talking excitedly, and someone on a cellphone, talking to someone about a good story, instead, she shifted closer to the other Sin, hand squeezing her shoulder.

"Yah gunn' be alrigh'?"

She had to ask, despite the fact that she'd just told the man they both were.

When Jani squeezed her shoulder, An's eyes started closing half way and she leened agianst Jani's chest, her wings folding back in place on her back.
"I kin breath.. But I dun feel too hot.. Can we wrap up our food and go back home?" She asked sleepily, before letting out a soft, flem filled cough.

She took was getting really uncomfortable with everyone being around them. And was now trying to stand up. But while her mind said stand up, her body said 'stay the ******** where you are'... Her body was winning the fight.

Jani's face immediantly darkened with worry, and she wrapped her arms around the other girl, squeezing her gently and speaking quietly to her before looking for the Subway worker.

"I'll take kar o' yah, dun worry none..."

Finding him, her eyes seemed to be enough to call him over, and she asked for a phone, recieving it almost instantaneously. Clicking in the numbers, she dialed.

"Aun'ee 'Kota? I nee' yah... Yah... Ann's 'ere, wih meh...."

Hanging up after revealing their location, she handed the phone back to the man. Their ride was on it's way.

Ancelin grabbed onto Jani's shirt as she was squeezed and sniffled, she really didn't feel good. And her face was still red, but now it wasn't because of blushing. She was beginning to run a fever. And the dizzyness she was suffering from wasn't helping in the slightest.
"I'm sorry Jani.. I didn't mean to get all wonky on ya.." She mumbled, before closing her eyes.

It probably would of taken a few moments to realise it, but Ancelin had passed out and was now sleeping soundly.

In fact, it was less than four minutes later that a silver, slinky car came to a purring halt outside the Subway. Both bounty-hunters sped on a regular basis, and this was one of them. The demon flicked long black hair from her cheery blue eyes and grinned at the patrons, sunglasses removed from her eyes in one fluid moment.

"Ah, there you darlings are."

A flash of fang, and she was a step away from them, her unrestrained good looks making several people in the room color and get out of her way. Her smile flickered at the sight of Ancelin, and she bent, taking her from Jani, who actually resisted for a moment before letting go.

"Sjajan, baby, she's... Really sick. I believe she needs medical attention. Will you open the car door for me, so I can lay her down on the back seat?"

Jani nodded and hurried outside to do as Jo's asked. After settling the Sin, Jo flicked open her cellphone to make a call.

"Shelly? This is Jo. We have a problem."

Catching a Cold?

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin sat on the edge of the doctors table idly, her legs kicking back and forth. She was playing with her single braid that she had tossed over her shoulder, while staring at the papers on the wall.
"Why am I here agian, Shell?" Ancelin asked as she looked back behind her.

Shelly was currently sitting down in a spare chair, tracing the cover of her beloved comic book idly.. In a self soothing manner. She then looked up and replied to the child.
"You need a check up. Gabriel asked me to bring you to see the doctors who work here to make sure your healthy. And he said something about meeting a little boy too." She said with a nod. Ancelin simply let out a sigh, before she stared down at the floor.
"Well they need to hurry up! This is boring!"

Aaron Arrikanez
With a yawn and a blink, Dr. Kellen Arrikanez emerged from the door that lead to the rest of the hospital. He looked exhausted, and was carrying something - or someONE in his arms. He waved his hand, and set the baby down. With the spell in place, the cat-dolphin [who Kel still insisted was a fish] child could swim around in the air freely, as if in a tank of water. He started swimming around his father's legs, and then started to make his way to Ancelin.

Falcon emerged right behind Kel, and closed the door so that the curious Dante would not get out that way, and cause havoc elsewhere. He was getting bigger - and it was hard to keep up with him now.

"Good evening Ms. Kuronaho - and this must be Ancelin."

Kel smiled, and set his chart on the counter that marked the other side of the room. Falcon grabbed Dante out of the air in front of him, and walked over to a stool to sit with him on his lap. Kellen looked back at Ancelin and Shelly.

"This is a regular checkup appointment, correct?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Shelly jumped a bit in her seat when the three came in, hugging her comic book to her chest tightly. She then swallowed and nodded her head, being quite intimidated when around adults.
"Ah.. Yes! Ancelin has been showing a few cold like symptons.. So Gabriel asked me to bring her in for an appointment in his and Miss Tenshi's absense." She said with a nod.

Ancelin's first reaction when she saw the boy was fear, because she saw the cat ears and quickly jumped back on the table she was sitting on. But when she saw his tail she was instantly confused as to what to think of him. Should she be terrified because he looked like a cat? Or should she be enamoured because he looked like a fish. That thought was interutped when she let out a small series of coughs, and then looked to Shelly.
"I'm not getting sick!" she pouted, before sniffling.

Aaron Arrikanez
Kellen chuckled very softly, and withdrew a penlight from his pocket, moving over to Ancelin.

"I think I'll be the judge of that, sweetheart."

He smiled - and completely failed to notice Falcon losing his grip on Dante, and the child swimming up behind his back, and over his head, peering down at An with a twinkle of sorts in his eye.

"Dante!"

Hissed Falcon softly.

"Get back here this instant, young man!"

Kel turned, and grabbed Dante out of the air, setting him on the exam table next to Ancelin - where he immediately crawled over to her, and started rubbing his head against her hand. He wanted to be petted.

"Don't mind Dante. He's affectionate."

Chuckled Kel, and clicked on the penlight, drawing a tongue-depressor from his labcoat pocket.

"Open your mouth, sweety."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oh, Ancelin was going to open her mouth alright..
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" She screamed as the boy sat beside her, which made her wobble off balance. Her arms swung, her wings spread, and with a quick 'swump' Ancelin had fallen on the ground.

Shelly gasped and quickly picked Ancelin up, helping to dust her off, before she looked over at the boy, and then at the doctors.
"Oh.. I'm sorry.. Ancelin's afraid of cats you see.." She said as she nodded towards Dante's fluffy ears.

"Is he a cat? He looks like he's part dolphin.. She loves fish.. But she had a bad experiance with felines when she was smaller." Shelly explained, while Ancelin stared at the boy's ears in wide eyed terror.
"The claws... All the claws..." She winced, remembering feeling like a piece of paper that just went threw a shredder. She then let out another loud:
"ACHO!"

Aaron Arrikanez
Kellen laughed, but moved Dante off the table to the protest of a squeak.

"Dante's harmless. Affectionate, but harmless. You see, he's not real used to strangers. He probably thinks Ancelin is quite fascinating."

Dante curled his dolphin part around in the air, in what would be a confused manner. Why was she scared of him?

"Gah?"

He cooed, and tried to climb up on the table again, looking somewhat like a kicked puppy, with those huge eyes, and pinned-back ears.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin sat back down on the table with the aid of Shelly, looking over at Dante wearily. His tail was simply adorable, but the ears gave her all kinds of worrys and fears all at once. She bit down on her lip and furrowed her brow a bit, before she reached down and pat his bald head. Between his ears where they couldn't touch her.

Shelly looked at the doctor sense Ancelin was occupied, and frowned.
"Ancelin has been keeping herself locked up in her room alot lately. She's got this kind of set up in her room that makes it look like a giant bubble.. And she's got this big bubble ball that she travels around the house in. Saying it's the only way to keep the germs away.. But she seems to have cought some kind of bug..." She then sighed.

"She's had a feaver the past few days and has been coughing and sneezing alot. And last night she even threw up after her dinner."

Aaron Arrikanez
Kellen rubbed his chin in thought, and took out the penlight again, and a new tongue-depressor, since he'd dropped the other when she screamed so suddenly.

"Sounds to me like the flu, or a one-day bug... But I won't make any concrete decisons until I've examined her. Ancelin, can you open your mouth for me? WithOUT screaming?"

He laughed a little at that.

Dante liked that. He VERY much like that. He started to go into something of a pleasure-trance, purring. Dante had been saying random words for a long time now - but he'd never talked to a stranger - only to the cousins. This was a first.

"Anse'lin! Anse'lin!"

He grinned up at her.

"Anse'lin. Pet?"

Falcon laughed, and commented from the chair on the other side of the room.

"I think he likes you, Ancelin."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin gave a soft smile as the boy attempted to say her name, and continued to pet him. She then made a brave venture and moved her hands from side to side, gently stroking his ears.
"They're soft!" She gasped, before nodding at the doctors request.

She opened her mouth and stuck out her tounge, closing her two tone eyes innocently.
"Aaaaaaaaah." She said, which caused her throat to tickle. But she resisted the urge to cough, while her fingers rubbed over the baby's head.

Shelly hugged the comic book close to her chest agian as she watched, nodding her head. She continued to look at Ancelin with worry.
"She's actually been staying over at a friend of her's house for a few days.. If I'm not mistake there's alot of children that live there. Maybe she could of cought something from one of them?" She asked. Shelly coudln't help the fact that she seemed to be jumping to conclusions, it was just in her nature to worry. Especially about the children which she watched over so tentivly.

Aaron Arrikanez
Kellen examined her throat, and nodded to himself, walking over to the chart, and jotting something down.

"Any other symptoms? Fever? Itchy or red eyes? Trouble breathing?"

He was running down the list. It was what he had to do , when he had no prior knowledge of his patient.

Dante, meanwhile, had started purring up a storm, and languidly flopped over beside Ancelin to let her stroke him. It felt really, really good. And his ears hadn't been scritched in a while.

"Like."

He said softly.

"Like. Like."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"She had a fever last night of 102. But it went down after I gave her some asprin." Shelly explained, watching the child. She was a bit worried that if Anny was sick she'd get the little boy sick too.. But if he lived with the doctors, he probably had some sort of imunity to it.

Ancelin smiled and gently rested her hand over one ear, rubbing it gently while her thumb rubbed the insides. She then giggled and pat his head, before looking back to the doctor.
"My heads been hurting. Right here." She said as she put her palm on the front of her forehead, rubbing it around to the sides and around her temples. She then looked down at the boy, before looking back to the doctor.
"What's his name?"

Aaron Arrikanez
Kellen nodded, and almost forgot to answer - but remembered that he'd been asked the boy's name.

"Oh - his name's Dante. After the book I'd been reading at that moment, which happend to be Dante's Inferno."

He went to the chart again, and jotted some things down. Drawing the stethoscope out of his pocket to sling around his neck, he then walked back over to his son, and the other two.

"Tell me Ancelin.... Why do you keep yourself locked up in that "bubble room"?"

Dante was out of it with pleasure. His ears flicked from being scratched, but he didn't seem to mind at all. As a matter of fact, he really liked it. The purring went into a crescendo. He wasn't even paying ATTENTION to his father, and that was a first for him. No one else had ever pet him before.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"Dante.." Ancelin nodded as she repeated the name to herself. She was getting better at remebering them now, so hopefully she wouldn't forget. She then looked up at the doctor and smirked, as if it where a stupid question.
"Because in my sanitized room, no dirt or dust can get to me! It's always clean and I rarely have to clean it! Everything's nice and sterle! ... Unlike the house I've been staying in the past few days.." She muttered, mind instantly going to Jani.

She looked down to Dante and smiled, before she moved her hand from the top to under his head, and scratched his chin. She saw Onii doing this with the flea motel she carried around named Ane. So maybe if Dante liked having his head and ears pet, he might like having his chin scratched aswell.

Aaron Arrikanez
Yes, yes he liked that very much. His eyes half-lidded, and he sank into Ancelin's lap, purring like a motorboat.

"Let me tell you something, Ancelin - Those germs that you're keeping out, are what help you fight infection. When the other, nastier, germs get to you, you've effectively made it so that you're a very easy target for them. Not ALL germs are bad. The ones that cause sickness are eaten, by the ones your body needs. And from what I'm hearing and seeing, you have very little of the germs your body needs to fight off the nastier ones. Do you understand?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin looked at the doctor as if he where some sort of raving lunitic. Ridiculus! Perposperus! That was.. That was..
"That's insane!" Ancelin spouted up, looking to the doctor.
"Dirt and germs make you sick! If you keep them away they wont hurt you! Not make you stay well! That's the craziest thing I've ever heard!" She said as she went to stand up, but stopped when she remembered the little fish cat boy in her lap. She continued to rub the underside of his chin, but her eyes quickly looked to Shelly. Giving her one of those glares.

Shelly gulped and then let out a nervious laugh, looking to Ancelin.
"But he's right sweetie. Weaker germs that get into your system make it so you can fight bigger germs. And when you leave your room and expose yourself to the big germs, because you werent around the little ones you get sick."

"Then I'll just have to stay in my room longer!" She piped up, humfing in a pout.

Aaron Arrikanez
He had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. Dante was now asleep - still purring - in Ancelin's lap. The doctor wondered if he could explain this in such a way that the girl would understand. It never had been Kel's strongpoint, being firm. That was usually Falcon's. But seeing as Falcon had fallen asleep in that chair - he was on his own.

"No, sweetie... that's not what I'm getting at. You know those shots that you sometimes have to get? They're called immunizations - and that's because their aim is to make you immune to serious diseases. How that works, is that they inject a weakened or dead sample of that disease into you, and your cells learn to recognize it, and destroy it. Much in the same way, the bacteria that are in your body act like those immunizations. They are a weakened form of the same illness - so your body can recognize, memorize, fight, and destroy the real thing when it comes into your system. Without being exposed to those other bacteria, your immune system becomes so weak, that even the smallest cold can hurt you very badly. Think about those other germs as... "

He bit his lip in thought.

"As a prisoner-of-war, that the other soldiers, in this case, your body's white-blood-cells, study, so that they will be able to conquer any REAL intruders that cross the border to your immune system...."

He HOPED he was making sense.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Now, if Ancelin was her cousin Kilah, she probably would of got that annolagy easy as pie. But alas, she wasn't. She had no interest in war. Blood and guts, filthy. Made things unneat and you had to fight in the dirt. Bleeeeh. But wait...

"They put germs in me when I got boosters?! I'm never seeing a doctor agian!" She spouted. She then slowly moved Dante's head off her lap and pat it, before she got up and walked to the door.
"I want to go home Shelly! This guy is going to put dirt in me!" She said with a hiss, her wings starting to open up. They where about to curl around her body to make a shell.. She hadn't done that sense she was an infant.

Shelly frowned and began to fidget, looking to An.
"Oh dear... An! Get back up there right now! Your sick, so I have to get you medicine to get you better!"
"But he's gonna put germs in me!" Ann argued, looking back at Shelly. "That'll make me sicker!" Shelly sighed and looked to Kellen, biting her nails in nervious thought.
"Have you looked over her enough to figure out what's wrong..? I can make her take the medicine when we get home.."
"Shelly! gonk "

Aaron Arrikanez
"I'd like to check her lungs and heart, to be safe - but if she's not going to stand still for it - I'm not going to force her."

He sighed, and looked at the sleeping Dante.

"Dante's had plenty of boosters, he doesn't live in a sterilized room, and he seems just fine to me."

He smiled at An.

"Dante's only caught one tiny little cold - and after that, he hasn't been sick."

He tapped his penlight against his fingers, thinking.

"Got it."

He went to the cabinet over the counter, and drew down a DVD entitled "Germs", handing it to Shelly.

"Take this for now... and let me write you a perscription for some cough medicine - If she gets another fever, or sounds like she's having trouble breathing, or if her cough doesn't go away in three or four days - call me, and I'll come over to your house myself."

He scribbled something on a perscription pad, and signed it, before handing it to Shelly.

"The lady at the front desk will get that for you - and please be sure to watch that movie with her."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Shelly took the DVD and looked at the case, and then took the peice of paper aswell, nodding.
"Thank you.. I'll be sure to do just that. If we have any futher complications.. I'll call you." She said with a nod, before frowning at Ancelin. She walked over and opened the door, so she could get them checked out.
"Why do you always have to be so stubbern?"

"Why do you want me to let a guy put dirt in me?" An retorted with a petruding toung. She then walked over to Dante and gave him one last pat on the head.
"Bye bye Dante." She said, knowing he couldn't hear sense he was asleep. But it'd be better than just walking out. She then paused and looked up to Kellen, before pulling down the eyelid of her yellow eye, and stuck her tounge out.
"Ppppphbpt."

With that An quickly ran past Shelly and outside the clinic, wanting to go strait home to her room. Shelly looked back at the doctor and bowed her head.
"Thank you agian, have a nice day." She then sighed and followed after the toddler.. Heading to the front desk.

Meeting Yukito

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( Sure sure, no problem. I'll probably be slow too. I'm browsing ebay for Naruto Headbands. XD ))

An strolled into the center, looking none too well. Her hair was in it's usual neat braid behind her back, and she was wearing a pair of dennim shorts with a yellow tank top. Spring was here, but she still acted like she was just getting the fall bug.

"*coff coff* argh..." She groaned as she closed the door behind her and walked down the halls. She was feeling alot better than she had been recently, but it was obvious she was still sick. Thankfully it wasn't something anybody else could catch, due to nobody else probably locked themselves up in a bubble room till their emune system kicked out. She learned her lesson, that's for sure.

"Is the doctor here..?" She wondered as she went down the halls, looking for the medical office.

Rayne Winner
Yukito had wandered upstairs, searching the clinic to see if either of the doctors were in. It had been a long while since he had been here and he was sure that they were going to be a little bit mad at him for disapearing mid way through his intership with them. Nothing that he could do about it now though but attempt to gain their forgiveness and start from where he'd left off was his thinking.

The white dragon Sin set his bag down carefully and it gave a little clinking sound as the bottles within it settled. Then he set to searching each of the rooms, didn't appear to be anyone here while was a bit of a bummer, he'd hoped... ahh well. He walked over to the book shelf running his finger over the spines of the books until he found the one that he was looking for, a basica anatomy book to look over.

The heavy tome in hand the dragon went to curled up on one of the rolly chairs in the doctors office, tail wrapping around his waist and set to reading the volume, he'd done it before but there was no reason why he shouldn't brush up on this sort of thing since he'd been out of action for so long. Didn't want to make any mistakes or anything like that.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin made her way to the clinic after a few moments and opened up the door, before slowly peeking and going inside.
"Hello...?" She called out as she closed the door behind her, before looking around.
"Anybody home?" she called out agian. The lights where on as if someone was in there.. So maybe it'd be one of the doctors.

She scanned threw the rooms for a few moments, and was actually about to give up. Why did she need these guys anyways? She was getting better just fine.. But Shelly told her she needed to go get a refill on her medicine.. Such a bother.

And it seemed Ancelin's thoughts completely took her off gaurd. For she jumped and let out a loud 'ack!' when she spotted Yukito. One leg raising while her arms quickly contored to gaurd her head. She then blinked when she realised it was probably another sin, and relaxed, putting her arms in her pockets.
"Oh.. Um... Hello. Would you happen to know where the doctors are..? I was sent here to get a refill on my medicine.." She said quitely, before sniffling.

Rayne Winner
Immersed in his rading Yukito had missed the sound of the door opening and even the sound of a voice calling out to see if anyone was around. He didn't miss the girl though when she made that odd sound that made teh dragon boy give a violent jolt. He gave a little sigh of relief when he noticed that she was both harmless, at least it seemed so, and not anyone that he should be worried about. He got up to his feet and set aside the text that he was reading, "They aren't in today from what I have seen but I can help you out if you need I am... erm... well maybe was interning here so I know my way around." He offered her.

A refill on her meds she had said, maybe he could find what she was looking for? Or maybe one of his potions would suffice if that didn't work. He had enough of them with him that he should be able to help her out either way, "Name's Yukito, Yukito Winner." He introduced himself.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"Ancelin. Just call me An." She said with a nod, smiling. She didn't adopt her gaurdian's last name.. He seemed clean, so he was cool in her book. That was really how she basically judged a person's character.. By how clean they where. But that was besides the point.

"And thank you.. I got really sick a bit ago or so and I've been bedridden taking medicine... And I ran out because it was only for a couple days. Shelly says I need more because it seems to be helping me.." She said as she reached into the blue mini backpack she was wearing, and pulled out an empty pill bottle. She then held it out to him, looking at it.

"They're little round purple pills with a big 'H' on them.. Look kinda like smarties."

Rayne Winner
"Its nice to meet you An." He said then listened to what she was saying carefully before taking the pill bottle from her, he looked it over and what she'd said before looking over at the cabinet where the pills would be held. He wasn't at all surprised to find that it was locked. Nobody wanted for people to be stealing pills after all when the doctors were both away, "Hmm." He murmured to himself then gave the bottle a little shake, "I am a bit of a healer myself." He said, "Not nearly as good or as on par with Falcon and his cousin but I do my best."

He walked over to where his bag was sitting, "I speciallize in potions created from the hebs I grow in my garden back home." He said and fished around in his bag before finding the one that he was looking for, it was tinted green and smelled of mint, "This should tide you over until your able to talk to the doctors themselves. I'm afraid that since they are out they took their keys with them, it makes it so I can't refill your prescription on my own. I do appoligize."

He walked back over to her and held it out, "I can leave them a note if you like, to have them call your house when they get in so that you can get your refill." He added as well, just in case she wasn't one for 'home remedies' or potions.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
An watched as the boy walked over to his bag, speaking of medicine and gardens. She then took the bottle he gave her gently and looked at it, before sniffing it. It smelt quite pleasant, hopefully it would taste good too..

"My fri..." She paused.. Would she consider her a friend? Yeah, sure. Why not.
"My friend Jani has a garden that she grows things in.. I didn't know you could create medicines from plants like that.. I thought you only used liquid chemicals." She said, before she smiled at Yuki.

"Thank you very much. I'll just have Shelly call them and leave a message on their machine. I'm sure this will do just nicely in the doctors absense." She said, before she reached back and tucked the bottle into her bag.
"Besides, I'm sure this will be better than swallowing those nasty pills." she giggled, folding her arms behind her back.

Rayne Winner
Yukito's eyes seemed to light up a bit, "Ahh, you know Jani?" He asked, he missed talking with that little girl, she was so nice to him. So she was gardening now too? That was neat, he wondered what sort of things she grew. He would have to try to catch up with her again seeing he felt more like being out and about these days, no doubt it was the warm weather and sunlight.

"The best medicines come from plants." He said, "Hehe, or maybe I am just being biased since I seem to have the natural ability to make the plants into potions." Could be either really, "That one should taste like mint which tastes nice and smells night too. I hope that it helps you out."

He would be quiet happy if it was able to help the little girl in the absense of the medicine that the doctors prescribed for her, would make him think better of his abilities as well.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin nodded her head and smiled. She knew what peppermint was. She had cleaning sprays that smelt like it for the house.
"I like pepermint, especially in gum. Makes your breath all cool and stuff." She giggled, before she thought on the subject of Jani..

"Yeah, we spend alot of time together. I was recently staying over at her house when I got sick, because my legal gaurdian is away in prison for a few days." Gee, that sounded so innocent, didn't it? She then blushed when she thought further, smiling.

"She has a sister named Asper that I'm friends with. She smells like peppermint aswell.. I think she smells really good too." She said with a wide grin, her olive cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

Rayne Winner
Yukito pursed his lips a moment as he seemed to be trying to process that one, she smiled when she said it so it was either a joke or she didn't quite understand maybe what being in prison meant? He was a little curious he would admit but he wasn't about to ask since it wasn't a subject that many would really want to much talk about. If Rayne ever got tossed into jail he wouldn't know what to do himself. Luckily she seemed a bit to ditzy to get herself into trouble.

"Never got to meet Asper, truth be told its been a while since I have even gotten to see Jani. Or really any of my friends. Winter was a rough spell where I mostly stayed home." He said, "Your the first outside my family I have spoke to in a while, its quite refreshing."

He'd not really realized it until now how much he missed going out and about, talking to friends, meeting new people, doing the doctor thing. He was going to have to do this more often.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin nodded her head and smiled, before she looked around for a few moments. She then leened agianst a counter and folded her arms under her chest, while one of her heels tapped the shiney floors beneath her.
"I'm just about the same in a way. I was locked away in my room for the longest time because I invested in a bubble room and then didn't leave. But then I had to go stay at Jani's house.. And it's pretty dirty. So naturally I got really really sick." She said with a nod, before she let out a quick cough and a sniff.

"Jani's been really weird lately though..." She admitted, frowning. "Usually she's really happy and bouncey. But lately she's been really quiet and stuff.. She even came to my house and started yelling at me for no reason. She never does stuff like that!" She said, before she looked extremely puzzled, before realising she was trailing off.
"This place has been dead though lately.. So it's nice that we both dicided to venture out today."

Rayne Winner
"A bubble room?" He asked, one of those things people stayed in to avoid germs right? He was pretty sure that was what i was, it was understandable after living in that sort of place that she would get ill since her immune system wouldn't be fuctioning up to par, "Being out and about should help too, fresh air will be good for you."

"Is that so?" Yelling for no reason and being all quiet, didn't sound much like the Jani he knew either, "I wonder if maybe something happened?" Would be one explanation, made him want to find her all that much more if only to make sure that she was ok.

"Last time I came by the mansion myself was for Halloween." Saying it outloud made him realize how long it had actually been since he had gone anywhere, rather sad since he used to come here almost daily before, "Yes, luck brought us both out so that we could if only for a moment breath new life into this place." He said, smiling brightly.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( I'll be right back Rayne. I gotta run out and feed my dogs before it gets dark. ))

An nodded her head and let out a little sigh, looking upward.
"I don't understand what's up with her.. We've never been the best of friends, but we spend alot of time together. And usually she's so happy and bouncey.. It would get really annoying. But now she's so quite and depressed.." She said, before she paused, remember when Jani came and yelled at her.. It made no sense.

"She came in yelling saying things like 'Asper can have you for all I care.' She said Asper said that I got naked with her and was kissing her.. Which isn't the slightest bit true. I don't think Asper would lie like that.." She said, as if she thought Jani made the whole thing up.

"But it's also not like Jani to yell at all. So I don't think she would of said something like that without something to go off of."

Rayne Winner
What an odd series of events that the little girl was describing to him, "Mmm. Maybe..." He didn't really know any of the situation but, "Maybe Jani was jealous? That is all that I can think of." If one sister thought that their friend was suddenly favoring someone else over them he could see how someone would get upset over it. It would make it worse if your friend suddenly found your own sibling more enjoyable to be around then you, "But I don't know this for a fact, it is just what it sounds like."

(( *wavies to Aylee* Hellos. ^_^ ))

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( I hast returned. *waves to the other people* =3 ))

Ancelin nodded her head and sighed, before she smiled.
"That might be it. But I shouldn't talk about all these bad things when we just met." She said with a nod, before she began a series of heavy coughs. She coiled her hand up over her mouth and closed her eyes as she let out the series of hacks, before she began slapping her chest.

"Ah geez.. I never thought trying to be clean and avoid germs would get me so sick. It kinda doesn't make sense, ya know? That we need to take in germs to be healthy."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin took the water and nodded her head in thanks, before she leened back and gulped the water down. After she had emptied the cup she let out one last little hack, before she sniffled and whiped her nose on a hanky she had pulled out of her pocket.
"I spose. But I'm not about to go exposing myself to more germs just so my body can learn to fight back." She said with a sigh, before she eyed the cup.

"You said your a 'infern'? What does that mean?" she asked, obviously questioning when he said he was an intern earlier. Her speach had gotten alot better as she reached childhood, but her vocabulary still wasn't the best.

Rayne Winner
"Intern, its sorta like learning by example. I follow the doctors around, watch what they do, do what I'm told to do, study a lot. Its a step in becoming a doctor." He told her, "Currently though I am only in training. I hope to become more then that when I get older though."

His tail started to swish back and forth as he thought on it, "Its a rather fufilling job I think getting to help people."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled where she sat as she began to fiddle with the cup between her legs, looking up to Yuki.
"I want to be a maid or a cleaning lady when I grow up. Make sure everything is spotless and sanitary." She said with a nod. She figured it kind of odd that she was a toddler and already knew what she wanted to do with her life. But she always knew sense she was a baby and looked at Vincent's books with pictures of pretty maids in them that she wanted to be one.

"We're kinda alike, in a way. It's like your learning to clean the germs and dirt out of people, while I clean it out of houses."

((*gnaws Moo* You never replied to my PM. D: *trashes* ))

Rayne Winner
"Thats a good way to put it." He said, cleaning germs and dirt out of people, it sounded about right too.

Yukito gave thoughtful 'hmm' sound then a nod of his head, "Hmm. Well if I ever get a clinic of my own I will have to look you up, I'm sure having someone like you on board would make it a very germ-free place as one has to be." He said. She seemed like the best one that would fit that sort of bill too, "Hey maybe you can get a job here when your bigger? I'm sure that the doctors would love the help, I know I would."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin thought for a minute as she scratched her chin, before looking up to Yukito and nodding.
"I think I'd like that very much! Don't get me wrong, I love cleaning Tenshi's, my gaurdian's, house. But I'd really like to start cleaning new places. Finding new creaks and crevises to clean out." She said with a nod, before smirking.

"You can really find alot cleaning houses. I once found a really pretty ring cleaning up around here when I was little. I keep everything I find in a little jar in my room, on my book case." She then laughed. "But I don't think you'd find alot of things like that in people."

Rayne Winner
Yukito nodded, he would have to talk to the doctors next time he saw them about hiring on An as a helper in the cleaning area, the way she spoke made it sound as if she would be very enthusiatic about her job. Which in his opinion was a very good thing.

He gave a blinked then started to giggle, "Yeah, I would hope not to find that sort of thing inside of anyone, I think I would be a little worried if I found a ring." He said.

Rayne Winner
Yukito's eyes went a little wide at the coughs and walked over to her, laying a hand on her shoulder to lead her over so she could sit down in one of the waiting room seats, "You sit, I can go and fetch you some water." He said, hurrying over to the water foutain, he fetched a paper cup from the dispenser next to it and filled it up befor returing to Ancelin's side.

"It does if you think about it. Your body needs to know the germs in able to defeat them. If you stay away from them that means your body has no idea what to do when you do come in contact with the germs." He held the water out to her, "Here you go."

(( WB! ^_^

*wavies to Noyama and Moo* ))

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin giggled at the thought of the white haired boy finding something like a ring when he was treating a patient, before she glanced down at the little watch around her wrist.
"Oh shoot." She said as she stood up, tossing the paper cup she had earlier in the garbage can.

"I'm really sorry, but I have to start heading home now. I promised Shelly I wouldn't take longer than three hours getting home, and it's a fourtyfive minute walk home." She said with a nervious laugh, scratching the back of her head.

"I'll see you around, okay Yuki? It was nice meeting you." She said with smile as she waved to him, before she quickly started out the building. Heavan forbid someone as delicate as Shelly get worried.

((Sorry to have to end it so suddenly, I gotta get off here for a little bit and I got bed in like, two hours. =X Fun RPing with you though, we'll have to do it agian sometime. ))

Rayne Winner
"It was nice meeting you to An. I will catch you again later!" He said, waving as she left. He gave a little smile as he moved to settle back into teh rolly chair, returning to his reading. He was feeling a lot happier now, talking with people always seemed to put him in such a good mood!

Though the meeting had also given him much to think about.

(( Yes, yes. I am getting ready to go myeslf so it was perfect timing. Will talk to you again soon, and yes we must do this again it was fun! heart ))

Ancelin - Kid Quest!

Well now, it seems as though it is finally time for this little girl to grow! She seems to have gone through quite a lot in the last few months, so the growth isn't entirely unexpected. What will she need to do to complete her quest? Well lets see... She will need to locate a pair of yellow rubber gloves, some soap, a pair of white socks, a fish plushie, and two bird plushies. Upon finding these items, she will need to wash the socks with the soap, having the three plushies over-looking.

Double Kid Quest: Something Smells Fishy.. Besides the Fish.

Ancelin stood outside the Reever household with deadset eyes, gazing up at the door. She had no idea what had happened with Jani the other day, but she figured it somehow must of been her fault. And when Tenshi came back she had practically ordered her to go apologize when she heard Shelly tell the story.

After a few minutes of talking to the first kid to answer the door, she was redirected to the back yard to find Jani. She walked around the house slowly and paused when she saw the garden.. Yukito said that the potion he made came from these kind of plants.. It was so cool that Jani could actually make something that helpful.
"Jani...? Jani are you here?" She called out, unable to spot her.

The blonde tensed at the familiar voice, and stood from where she'd been kneeling, clipping the herbs that'd started to grow abundantly. She was actually starting to figure out which ones' she'd need for the gift she was making for Lyrus. Brushing what little dirt there was from her jeans, she pulled the cap from her head and blew her hair from her eyes, stopping just outside her garden, a few feet from Ancelin. She felt so embarassed about shouting at the other girl, but... But... But nothing. She felt bad.

"Uhm... Anny... Hi..."

Was she mad at Sjajan?

Anny tensed up a little bit when she saw the dirt on Jani, but ignored it by turning her head to look over the plants.. She guessed they werent so bad, it was just too bad they had to grow in dirt and not something cleaner.

"Hey Jani.. I um... I was thinkin about the other day an'..... I wanted ta.. come say I'm sorry I guess..." She said slowly, even though she didn't really understand what went wrong in the first place. She just knew she had never seen Jani mad like that, and she must of done something to really hurt her feelings to make her yell.

"And I uh... Wanted t' invite ya to come shoppin with me... If ya wanted."

... She was apologizing?

Jani's eyes were wide, and her jaw a bit slack, but a moment later, she snapped out of it, deciding that Ancelin wouldn't have said anything like that unless she meant it. Trying to make the other girl feel better, a giant grin appeared on her face, one that was rare now, although constant as a babe, and she stepped over to a outdoor sink on the side of the house, washing her hands.

"O' corz I wanna go."

Drying her hands on a small towel, she put it back on the sink, and strolled to the front of the house. They were off, and there were a bunch of stores not far from here.

Ancelin smiled with releif when Jani said she would go with her, she thought for sure Jani must of hated her if she made such an outburst. She would question Asper later, right now she had to do as Tenshi said and patch up whatever had happened between her and Jani.. When she thought about it, they really where friends.

"I wanted to go to the pet store down the street.. Someone put my Beta in with my gold fish and they got killed.. So now I need some new ones to keep the survivor company." She said as she lead Jani down the street. The pet store was shockingly close, which made it convient for Anny to go to her house first.

It only took them about five minutes to get to the pet store, which Jan had been to only a week ago, getting crickets with Iamel, and she held open the door for Anny, eyes lingering on a stuffed animal machine outside.... She was actually good at those... Why didn't she try it? It wasn't as if Anny needed her help choosing fish.

"Dun' fergit ta git a bowl fer 'em... I'ma play tha', 'kay?"

She gestured at the machine, and waited for the other girl to walk inside before strolling over and digging in her pockets for change. Inside the machine were loads of animals, and she dropped in a dollar's worth of quarter, earning two grabs. She missed the first, but on the second... She scored two lovebirds. Sweet deal. Anny would like them, Jan knew.

Anny paused at the door when Jani said she was going to play the claw machine, before she giggled and nodded.
"I'm no good with those things, but have fun. I'll only be a few minutes." She said with a nod, before she head inside.

Just like Jani sugjested, she grabbed a decent sized fish bowl as she walked down the ile to the fish section. She had everything else she needed at home, but the bowl she had kept them in got destroyed, and the last surviving fish was now living in a drinking glass. She hugged the bowl to her chest as she quickly turned the corner. A woman on a mission, she was.

She walked up to the disired tank, having memorized where each breed of fish was located. How could she not know when she came here almost every week.
"Oh Anny, good to see you agian." A young man came up wearing the pet stores uniform, whiping fish food off on the sides.
"Hey Jo-jo. I need two of these silver gold fish."
"Commin right up."

Sjajan hurried inside with her prize, and grinned triumphantly, showing them off before curiously watching the man scoop the fish from their tank. Jan liked all animals, fish included, and followed both the man and Ancelin to the counter, humming happily as she paid for them.

"Where nex' Anny? We'r naw dun, are we?"

Ancelin smiled as Jani came back inside, looking at the two dolls closely.
"Cute! Birdies!" She said with a wiggle of her own wings, before she looked back at Jo, who was holding out a plastic bag filled with the two fish and their water.

At the check out she moved her braid over her shoulder and dug her wallet out of her backpurse, before she paid for the fish.
"We'll be getting in a new shipment of clownfish tomarrow Anny, be sure to come see em, kay?"
"You know I will." An said with a smirk, before she looked back to Jani.
"Actually this is all I needed. But your more than welcome to come home with me.. I could use help carrying this bowl home." She said, nodding her head to the bag that the bowl was in, while her own two hands where filled with the bag that contained her fish.

Jan nodded, still smiling, and took the bowl, thinking about the awkwardness of holding it and the birds for a second, before sticking them INSIDE the bowl, and shifting it in her arms. Only seconds later, they were back outside, hot-footing it to Ancelin's house.

Sjajan hadn't been there since the fight, and she swallowed a little anxiously as they went inside, and up the stairs to the place where it'd occured. Ancelin's room.

It only took about 20 minutes for Anny and Jani to make it back to Tenshi's house, and Tenshi was surprisingly nowhere to be seen. She was home, but she was busy with other things. Anny lead her up to her room none the less, calling like a salery man as he returned home.
"I'm home!!" She called as she closed the door and slipped off her shoes, before leading Jani upstairs.

She almost immediately got to work on putting the new fish in with the old one, and into the new bowl. She set the love birds on the bed by her fish plushie, blushing that she had forotten to take it off her bed.
"Uh.. I guess they can sit by Puffy while I put the fish away.." She said with a soft smile, while she adjusted the table. Her room itself almost looked like an aquarium, both long walls of her room covered in tanks. How the hell did she take care of all of them, anyways?

"Hey Jani.. I was thinking.. Maybe you'd like to spend the night? Vincent's got a present for you.. You could mess with it if ya get bored."

"Uh..."

Sjajan glanced around the room, scared to sit anywhere in case she wasn't clean enough, and frowned slightly. She'd never slept over before, but.... And, wait, a present, from Vincent? She LOVED Vincent! He'd given her that favorite possession of hers, an old, beat-up guitar.
"yeah, ok"

Ancelin smiled as she finished setting up the bowl, and set it in front of a table that held an ever larger tank. In front of it seemed to be four other little bowls of different fish, and it could be seen that the beta was by where she had just placed the new one.

"Iz downstairs in Vin-vin's room.. You kin change into some of my clothes if ya want. And I'll clean those dirty ones you got on." She said, not meaning to call her dirty, but the girl had been working in her garden.

She walked over to the closet and got out a green shirt and what looked like boots, but there where in all honesty giant slippers.
"Sorry if they're a bit big.. They're hand me downs from Sakura." She said, handing them to the potato girl.
"I'll be right back with your present, kay?" She said, before she dashed out of the room, heading downstairs to get it.

Jan tugged on the shirt, which came to just below her thighs, and put on the slippers, then the girl moved to sit on Anny's bed, eyeing the plushies curiously.

"Uhm... Hi Mistah Puff..."

The girl's eyes moved to the fish they'd just gotten, and she decided to call one 'Brazil' no matter what Anny said.

"Nex' time I see ya'll I'll brin' my gah-tar, an' play ya'll a song, alrigh'?"

Anny came back up the steps moments later. But she just wasn't toating Vincent's gift. Oh no.. She was also carrying a good bit of cleaning sapplies. A big ol bucket, filled with soap and gloves and a wash board. She came back into the room and set down the bucket by Jani's dirty clothes, before she smiled and held out the big brown box, that had a bow on it and "Jani" written on it with a sharpie marker.

"Here ya go.. Dunno what it is. But Vin-Vin wont be home for a long time Tenshi said. So she said just give it to ya know." She said with a nod, before she slipped on her rubber gloves.

User Image

Jani looked postively delighted, and ran over to open the box, letting out a cry of pleasure at the sight of a guitar. Immediantly, she pulled it out, tuned it, then eyed the fish.

"Gess ya'll git yer song, eh?"

What she played for them, was a lullaby.

Anny had pretty much dunked all of Jani's clothes into the bucket, including a pair of surprisingly clean socks. She went over to her personal fauset that Tenshi had installed for her by the local plumber, and filled it up.
"Your gonna play it? Cool." She said with a smirk as she soaked up the socks with a green bar of soap, before she began to scrub it agianst the wash board. Her eyes idly glanced up at the stuffed toys on her bed, which almost seemed to be staring at her.. She'd have to move them in a moment, but her attention was quickly snatched by Jani's song.

Surprisingly though, Jani's song was actually making her pretty tired, and she let the soap and clothes thunk into the water.

"Nnnnn... I'm gettin pretty sleepy.." She said, before she curled up on the floor to watch Jani play, it only took a few moments for Anny's eyes to seal closed, and fall asleep. It was like as if her energy was building up inside her, sapping her of her usual vitality.. No way a simple song could just do this.

"zzzzz..."

Sjajan was also getting sleepy, but a song of her's had never done this before. The girl stopped playing, so she could rush over and pull Anny into her own bed, following after and also drifting to sleep. Something important was happening, she knew, she just had no clue what it was.

"zzzzzzz...."

Sjajan and Ancelin have grown!

It's interesting, watching two Sin'aeis so obviously opposites working together. But perhaps more friendship will grow between them in their coming months.

Now that Sjajan has grown, it seems more obvious that she's less prone to smiling. Her eyes seem more focused, and she seems to love music, but she also seems a bit distant. And taller, of course. (And could someone care to explain why her guitar has a fish on the side?)

In Ancelin's case, her hair has grown out to midway down her back. She has also turned out looking rather fetching. Once again, a fish motif seems to have appeared, this time on her dress. What is it with those fish? A connection between the two Sin'aeis, perhaps?

After Growth, it's a Shocker!

Ancelin groaned as she rolled over onto her back, hearing her spine crack. Argh, why did it feel like she was laying on the floor? And what was that soft skooshy thing her head was laying on?
"mmmm...." She moaned as she sat up, rubbing the bangs out of her eyes.. Wait a minute.. She was sleeping on the floor.
"Jani?" She called out as she looked around, before glancing behind her at the skooshy thing she had just been laying on. She expected it to be one of Tenshi's pets but...

"OMIGAWD!" She shreeked, before she jumped up and placed her back agianst one of her fish tanks.. Who was... That really hot guy on her floor?
"Um..... Hello?" She called out, not wanting to get her hopes up too high. She poked the person with her toe, not even realising it looked bigger than it should be, or that her head was higher than it should be.

Getting a toe in her rib, Jan made a small, protesting sort of a noise, along the lines of 'ooooof...!' mumbling something under her breath, and turning onto her stomach, curling into a ball, slightly. Sleep felt SO good, and she really didn't want to move... But... Opening one eye slowly, she caught sight of Ancelin who....

"GAWRGHHH!"

Wide eyes, startled scrambling on hands and knees to the opposite side of the room, stare. Stare. Stare. Low, low voice, soft... Confused...

"... Ancelin?"

Wider eyes, puzzlement. Her own voice... huskier... different... What was going on? Why did Ancelin look... So different? Pretty.

Ancelin blinked in confusion, still not quite realising who this hot young lad in her room was. But hey, she wasn't complaining.
"Yeah... That's me." She said, before she tilted her head to the staring.
"Do I have something on my face?" She asked, before she turned and looked at the fish tank behind her. Those things did act like mirrors if you looked at them right. But wait a second....

"........... WHAT?!?!" She shreeked, jumping back as she saw her reflection in the mirror, which made her fall on the ground. She then quickly reached back and grabbed her hair, and then her face, chest, hips... Oh sweet Jesus what had happened?

"What the hell is going on?!" Came the voice of a rather paniced Tenshi as she quickly stuck her head in the room, seeing the two girls.
"Anny...? Jani...?"

"Jani?" An said, looking over to the 'hot guy' on her wall. Come to think of it..
"Freckles! You are Jani!"

".... I know..."

Jan's eyes were wide, and she blinked rapidly at Anny. Of course she was Jani, why wouldn't she... Oh.... Oh my. That was why. Her eyes locked on the fishtank behind Ancelin, running over her own features. She was... Handsome? That was odd. Still, she knew boys who were pretty, and... And she was still sort of pretty... Still, Jan wasn't too concerned with physical appearances, and stood, revealing that she was EXTREMELY tall for her age. 5'2" worth of tall, actually. Not that she minded THAT.

"... Ah.... What 'appened?"

Her speech had improved. Ignoring Tenshi, she took a few long strides toward Ancelin, forgetting momentarily how unsettling her boyishly pretty looks could be, and reached out to touch the other girl's incredibly long hair. She was gorgeous.

".... Anny... We grew...?"

Anny's cheeks gave the usual flush they gave whenever someone she found physically attractive touched her, as Jani touched her hair. Before she did the same thing and ran her hand down Jani's jaw. She blinked her two tone eyes in shock, and almost horror, before she remembered when it had happened before.
"Yeah... Yeah I think we did." She said in amazement, before she continued to feel Jani's changes.
"Dude. Your hot." She said. She meant it more like an accusation than a compliment though.

Tenshi continued to stand in the room, relaxing when she realised it was nothing to be worried about. She had gotten used to kids doing this now.
"Yeah, that's what happened. Same thing when Anny was taking a bath that one time." She said, even if she was being ignored.

Jan took it as the accusation it was, and looked mildly ashamed, blowing at a strand of hair in her eyes and frowning slightly.

"I'm sorry."

Taking another step to close the somewhat large gap still between them, she seemed far more graceful than she used to be, and continued to allow Anny to touch her, distracting herself on purpose from the feeling by turning darker, clearing eyes to Tenshi.

"We di'n't bathe, thi' time."

So her speech wasn't correct, yet.

Ancelin was about to ask Jani why she apologized, before she spoke to Tenshi about taking a bath. She then took her hands off the child and looked to her gaurdian aswell, shocked by how she didn't have to look way up in the air to see her.
"That's right! Jani was playing her guitar, and I was washing her clothes in that bucket over there." she said as her more effimate hand pointed to the bucket on the ground. This was way to confusing.

Tenshi would of usually started laughing at such a statement, but instead she just smirked and crossed her arms.
"Bath's have nothing to do with when you grow. You don't have roots that obsorb the water to give you nutrients. It's just a natural occurance in life.. Even if you Sin happen to grow in spurts instead of gradually over time." She said, sounding alot like Gabriel instead of her usual ditsy self.

Now that her question had been taken care of, Jan reacted to Tenshi appearance. Plus, the removal of Ancelin's hands had given her more room to think.

"Shi-Shi!"

The tall, boyish girl rushed over to the woman, and squeezed her in a surprisingly strong grip.

"We miss'd ya!"

Ancelin let Jani rush off without any protest, she was too busy grunting at how unbarably tight her clothes where. She frowned as she looked down at her hips. She had been wearing a rather loose knee high skirt, but now it was hugging her hips quite tightly and going mid thigh. She began making herself more comfortable by unbuttoning her shirt, however. It was making it hard to breath.

Tenshi blinked at Jani's sudden reaction, and smiled faintly as she rested her hands on the child's shoulders, giving her a gentle squeeze.
"I missed you to, dear. I'm glad to be home." She said with a nod. It was a lie, but honestly, why did Jani need to hear her sob story?

Jan, noticing Tenshi's distance, frowned slightly, and pulled away, retreating into herself once more. Tugging at the collar of the shirt that didn't quite feel comfortable, she simply tugged it over her head and tossed it onto Ancelin's bed, pleased that the shorts she was wearing were more than baggy enough. A quick stretch, and she folded her arms across her chest, lucky that a certain part of her anatomy hadn't developed along with her height.

"Ancelin..."

Leaning against the wall now, her eyes shifted from Ancelin, to Tenshi, then back, face blank. Something was troubling her.

"why'd we grow t'getha?"

Ancelin looked to Jani as she finished taking off the shirt, cupping her hands over her chest. Like with Jani, any growth on her chest was hardly worth mentioning, but she was still self consious about it. She then pondered over the question for a few moments, before she scratched her chin.
"I really dunno... Maybe we should go ask Chaco." She said, before she realised something.
"Hey.. I'm not sick anymore!"

Tenshi looked at the two shirtless children for a moment, before she looked to the door. She then left the room and left the two children to talk, she was going to get them some larger clothes to wear.

Moving gracefully from the wall to the bad, Jan was soon on her stomach, head resting on her forearms. Long, strong forearms, which showed her birthmark on the shoulder. Three, dark spots. Matching Junketsu's, which were on her hip. They'd compared them once. Thoughtfully, she glanced back over at Ancelin, gaze flicking up and down over her quickly, before lifting to meet the other girl's eyes.

"Tha's great, Anny."

And it was, the soft smile on the girl's face proved she was telling the truth, and own eyes were warm.

"Ya grow'd perfect."

Ancelin smiled as she walked over and sat down beside Jani, and hugged Puffy to her chest to hide it. She pet the orange plush with one hand idly, before she looked to Jani with a grin.
"Thanks, you've grown great too. You look really pretty." Even if she looks like a boy, but she wasn't going to add that part on. She wasn't sure how Jani felt about her femmininity.

It wasn't long before Tenshi came back in the room with some shirts folded over her arms, and she tossed one to each child. They where both her t-shirts, so they should of fit, obviously. Jani would just have to deal with the wing holes in the back. Anny on the other hand needed them.
"Here ya go kids. So you don't have to flash your breasts every which a way."

Jan, sitting up, unabashed and not covering anything, reached out to recieve a shirt, blinking at Tenshi after tugging it on. Face, once again, blank.

"'Aven' got any breasts."

Still, the shirt was on, and she reached to help Anny with it, assuming that it was occasionally difficult to get them over wings. Plus, the other Sin would probably be a little clumsy with them, now that they were so much bigger. Jan had slim, nimble fingers, and it was easy for her to assist.

That done, she didn't really move away, stretching out, raised up on just her arms, one of which was pressed against Ancelin's. Why? She liked the feeling of physical contact. She wasn't sure if it was specific toward Anny, or in general, since she'd grown, but at the moment, there was no opportunity to find out. Her brown, slightly worried eyes lingered on Tenshi, and she spoke, voice low and slightly husky.

"Ma's sick, Shi."

Ancelin thanked Jani at the assistance. She asumed right, it was very difficult to get wings in a shirt that wasn't made for someone with wings. She would often wear shirts she could step into without a back, or wore shirts that Tenshi had specially tailored to those with wings. She then rested her hand on the small of Jani's back as she laid down, still sitting. She looked up to Tenshi to see her reaction.

Tenshi's expression firmed a little into a leer. Not at Jani of coarse, she wasn't looking right at her. It was more of a leer towards the thought of that red headed woman.

"She get an STD?" She said with a snort, before she realised how out of place that was.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. What's wrong with her?" She asked, looking to Jani. Her feelings towards her once obsession where now a bit... confusing. She was being torn in two different directions when it came to the mother of her children.

Jan wasn't quite sure, but she knew what had happened, without details, of course. Indu was still bedridden, actually. She shrugged, rather fluidly, and shivvered slightly when Anny put a hand on her. It felt good. Too good.

"They... 'Urt 'er. Aun' Rune and Ceres, that is ta say."

The blonde's head turned so it was facing Anny, face just touching the other girl's side, and was comforted by the warmth, and scent. She was surprised her 'friend' hadn't moved away by now. Perhaps their reconciliation had gone better than she'd hoped. Growing together had bonded them, in a way.

Tenshi's expression firmed even more at the sentance. Hmmm.. She'd have to hit Rune even harder next time. If there was a next time that is. Now that Yumoa had moved out, she really had no reason to see her. She had no connection to her kids accept for Mirelle and Kirika, and Sesshomaru could go see them on his own.
"Pity." She said, before she uncrossed her arms and headed for the door.

"Brakefast will be ready in ten. I'll sound the bell." She finished, before she left the room. Jani shouldn't be forced to see her aggressions towards her adoptive monther.

Ancelin had began stroking Jani much like she would a dog. Her hand running up and down Jani's spine. She then gave a light pat and stood up, walking over the the bucket that had Jani's soaked clothes in it.
"Now that it's morning, I'll go toss these in the washer. Wanna come with me while we wait for brakefast?"

"O' course."

She'd been pet like a dog, and much like one she slid from the bed and followed Ancelin, bending and easily lifting the bucket in one hand before the other girl could even attempt to. On the heels of the other girl, she trailed after her, gaze following Ancelin's now extremely long, blue hair. It was loose, as it had been when they'd fallen asleep...

"'Kin I braid you 'air...?"

The question could be considered random, for those who didn't notice the chance in Jan's mind. As it was, she thought far more than she actually spoke, so what she did say followed her train of thought, rather than her previous contribution to the conversation. Hmm.

Ancelin blinked as Jani insisted to carry the tub, and lead her to the loudry room in a small basement downstairs. She then began loading the washer, putting the wet clothes inside, along with some dirty clothes that had been in hampers waiting for her. She then looked back to Jani, and smiled.

"Sure. I'd like that." She nodded. She had a hard time braiding it herself, sense she insisted on making it perfect. And when she did it over her shoulder, it always ended up going to one side.. Pain in the a** really.

Without hesitation, the girl pulled the hairtie from her own hair, causing the blonde strands to fall to about her shoulder blades, and stepped forward. Ancelin had finished, and Sjajan ran her fingers through the long, dark blue strands, finger-combing it. She, although messy at times, was her own type of perfectionist. When it came to details, such as her garden, she made sure things were done in exact. Therefore, she was the perfect person to braid Ancelin's hair.

It was done in record time, Sjajan already used to this new taller, stronger, longer form, and her slim fingers easily created a long, straight braid worth admiration. Stepping away, she turned Ancelin to face her, inspecting with a smile.

"Beaut'full."

Whether she was talking about her braiding job, or Ancelin herself, was made unclear.

Ancelin reached back and felt the braid, before she pulled two little strands of side locks down, aprently some of her hair wasn't quite long enough to fit in the braids. She then smiled and stroked it gently.
"Thanks Jani!" She said as she gave the potato Sin a hug, a very very odd jesture from Ancelin. But she felt pretty weird as it was right now.

"Kids, brakefast!!" Tenshi's voice called out as a cowbell could be heard ringing from the kitchen. And then the massive heard of steps that was the children rushing to the table. It sounded like a regular heard upstairs. Ancelin then let go of Jani and watched as the foundation shook, before shaking her head.
"Common, let's go get some food. Yer hungry, right?"

Now that she'd mentioned it, Jan was STARVING, and a growl from her stomach admitted it, even if she wanted to deny it.

"Mmmn..."

Smiling slightly to herself, she followed the other girl to where the food could be found, having never eaten a meal here, and wondering if it was at all like a family meal at the Reever place. Spotting Tenshi, she slid close to the older woman, tone soft, delicate.

"Kin I 'elp, Shi?"

Jani would of found the Kuronaho 'family' was rather well mannered when it came to meal time. Mostly because the vast majority of the members where calm, or would get s**t if they where sloppy. And they all seemed to be sitting in asigned seats. With two extra.. The ones where Vincent and Gabriel sat. Ancelin looked back and smiled, patting the empty seat beside her that was empty.
"Jani, you can sit by me in Vin-vin's seat."

Tenshi smiled softly and pat Jani's head, before she held out a bowl of hash browns.
"Thank you, dear. Go set this in the middle of the table in front of Oliver." She said, before she looked to Anny signaling where the girl would sit. At that thought a look of sorrow flashed in her eyes, while they lingered on Gabriel's empty seat. She'd have to move that before she sat for her meal.

Jan accepted the bowl and set it in front of the familiar boy, giving him a solemn nod in greeting before sliding into the seat beside Ancelin. It was rather different, considering that her family was a warzone, and she smiled slightly, wondering if Anny would be shocked with Sjajan's surprisingly good table manners.

"G'mornin' ya'll."

Another nod, this time to the whole table. If ANNY of all people didn't recognize her at first, would THEY?

About the only people who hadn't recognized Jani was Onii and Oliver, who looked at her in confusion. Or rather, Oliver looked in confusion. Onii looked with impure interest. She winked and waved at her, fluttering her finger tips. Which earned a glare from Arukoru who was sitting acrossed the table.
"Good morning, Jani." She said, having recognized her aperance thanks to answering the door a few times when she visited. After all, Jani did have white strips, freckles, and a giant scar on her face.

Tenshi finished setting the food on the table in her usual habbit, before slapping a bloody steak on Sesshomaru's plate. Who in return sipped from a glass of freshly poured blood. At that Tenshi looked as if she was sparked with a thought, and looked to Jani.
"Do you drink blood, Jani?" Tenshi asked as she held up a bottle, pouring some in a glass at the head of the table.. Her glass.

Jan's gaze had locked on Onii, and she looked puzzled momentarily, before grinning at the greeting, and waving back, eyes warm. What a friendly girl! Her gaze was torn from the girl by Tenshi question, and she was floored. She'd never tried blood. Being a vegetarian meant you didn't eat meat. Blood? She'd never thought about it.

"I..."

Turning a solemn face toward Onii, the most welcoming person in her mind, at this table, she posed a question. Maybe she'd try some blood, depending on the answer.

"D'YA drin' blood, miss?"

Onii beamed as she picked up a cup with a straw in it, filled with the crimson liquid.
"Yeah! It's great!" She smiled as she sipped it. Ancelin although frowned, before she looked to Jani and whispered.
"It's a demon thing, I wouldn't drink it if I where you. I've tried it, it tastes like car keys." How she knew that was anyones guess, but hey. She was a baby once too, ya know?

Tenshi had set the bottle down and finished putting the bowls on the table, before she slid what was once Gabriel's chair agianst the wall, and sat at the center of the table.
"It really is an aquired taste if your not a demon.. I can barely stand it now that I'm human." She said, to which Sesshomaru made a very obvious flinch of distaste.

"I'd like ta try et..."

Jan, determined not to be rude, shrugged fluidly, and reached forward, to smoothly take the glass from Onii's hands and lift it to her own lips. The liquid poured into her mouth, slid over her tounge, got partially down her throat, before her body rejected it. Jan not only had no appetite for meats, she COULDN'T eat them, even if she wanted too. Blood, it seemed, had an even more intense reaction. Her face drained of color, then turned a dangerou shade of red. She needed to get it out of her, NOW, but the problem was she refused to spit blood at the table. Shaking, she gave the glass back to Onii, tremors running throughout her body, mouth full of the red fluid. This... Was bad. She was fighting to look calm, but her body was screaming at her idiocy.

Tenshi's eyes quickly grew wide at Jani's face, before she grabbed a garbage can from beside the fridge and held it up to Jani.
"Here honey, spit it out!" She said as she held it beside her chair, so she could vomit.. Which is what she looked like she was about to do.

Ancelin gasped at the sudden change in Jani's complection, and quickly began to rub her back as she helped her turn towards the can, patting her spine.
"I told ya it was nasty!"

Shaking her head rapidly and firmly, refusing to either throw up, or simply spit the substance out at a quiet breakfast, and gently removed Ancelin's hands, her own movements erratic and shakey, having lost the strange grace she'd awoken with. Chair scraping back as she lurched to her feet, she politely nodded to the table once more, and fled to the only bathroom she knew of, upstairs, by Ancelin's room.

She only just made it to the toilet, the blood pouring from her mouth. A bit hit the seat, and trembling, she grabbed a handtowel and wiped it away before flushing the toilet and collapsing onto the floor. She couldn't leave a mess for Ancelin to clean. Shaking, she held her head in her hands, longish blonde strands hiding her closed eyes. God she was so stupid. She should have listened to Anny. Now she'd ruined breakfast... Ancelin must be so angry.... And that Onii girl... She must not like Jan now. Jan felt horrible.

Everyone at the table blinked and watched as Jani ran off to the bathroom, accept for Sesshomaru that is. And Ancelin quickly stood up, along with Tenshi.
"You kids go ahead and eat. No need to say grace." She said as she looked to An, and An quickly bolted up the stairs. She went to the bathroom door and knocked on it, knowing that's just where she was headed, before she set her ear on the door.
"Jani? Are you okay?" She called in, with Tenshi soon following after.

Jan, who was crumped up, holding her own body, let out a whimpering sound in response. It still hurt, but it was fading away. She was allergic to anything related to flesh. Poultry, Fish, Meat... Blood. Still, she hadn't swallowed, and she was recovering.

"Ya, come in"

An looked to Tenshi as she stood beside her, and Tenshi pushed the child gently to the side as she opened the door and walked in. She then leened down beside Jani and set a hand on her shoulder, before gently stroking her cheek.
"You okay, sweetie? Do you need me to call Nemi?"

Ancelin quickly walked in after Tenshi and looked at the toilit, and then back at Jani. She had no idea she was gonna react like THAT. Yeah when she drank the blood she got disgusted and spit it out, but she didn't have a reaction like this one.

Tenshi soon called Nemi and had her pick her up and take her home, Jani soon recovered from the blood poisoning...

We're part of the same Mafia? Really?

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin sat on the front porch of the Sin mansion, reading a book casually. She was getting a bit better at the 'going outdoors' thing. She usually stayed inside. But with the application of bug repellent and a nice summer hat to keep the sun from burning her face or shoulders.

She lifted up one of her bare legs and crossed it over the other, before she scratched the lifted knee. You could see almost all of her now long effiminate olive legs. She had taken to wearing skirts instead of dresses now that the weather was hot.. God she hated it outside..
"I need AC!" She said to herself, before she turned her book into a fan instead of reading material.

Moofuls
It was just too damn hot to work today. Lyrus had come to the conclusion immediately after awakening and, a cold shower later, had set about wandering the city. Not the brightest idea, he now realized, what with the heat and humidity outdoors, but at least every so often there was a faint breeze, as opposed to inside his stuffy excuse for a store.

The apartment had never been kept in good repair, much less the pawn shop beneath it. The air conditioning hadn't worked since well before Lyrus moved in, and, busy with neatening things up, he hadn't had a chance to have it repaired just yet. The shop was sweltering...

So, he was out of the shop and onto the road. Or, rather, walking towards the mansion. The AC was bound to be working there, right? ...Of course, judging by the outburst of the girl sitting on the front porch, it wasn't. "Don't we all."

Damn his luck.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin squeeked with surprise when she heard a males voice retort to her previous outburst, and quickly lifted the bill of her hat up to look at him. He looked... Vaugely familer. The dark blue hair she didn't recognize, but the grey skin and... Those black markings.
"Hello... Don't I know you?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. She met the boy once when she was a baby and he was a toddler, and still lacked hair. And with how much he matured.. It was no wonder she didn't remember his name.

"Anyways.. The AC inside is working I think.. We could solve both our problems if we go in where it's more comfortable." She sugjested as she marked her book and removed her hat. She then tucked the book under her shoulder and fixed her blue bangs, and flicked her braid back over her shoulders.

Moofuls
Lyrus quirked a brow, faintly amused by the girl's reaction to his arrival. His expression faded to a thoughtful frown with her question and he gave her a quick once-over--looking for any recognizable features, naturally. "If so, you didn't make much of an impression," he replied with a shrug. Nevermind the fact that he may just have been short at the time. He didn't recognize the girl and that was that.

"If it's working inside, then why're you out in this heat?" he retorted, grimacing. Nonetheless, he stepped past her and pushed open the door, holding it open for her to enter and immediately closing it behind her. No use letting the cold escape outside. "So, who're you, then?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin followed Lyrus inside and took off her hat, before she adjusted her blue bangs acordingly.
"Some of the boys I live with at home where teasing me for being pale.. I thought I'd try and get a tan, but to hell with that. I don't like the sun." She said as she took a releived sigh at how nice the AC felt, before she looked over at the boy agian.

"I'm Ancelin.. I could sware I recognize you. Do you know a Kilah, Tori, or a Jani?" She figured she'd go with her three closest friends to figure out how she new the boy, but she then shrugged it away. "It doesn't matter. Like I said, I'm Anny. And you?"

Taking The 'Brothers' Shopping

Tenshi_Kuronaho

Ancelin stood at the bus stop at the end of Jani's block, Oliver sitting by her on the bench. They where waiting for two friends, Jani and Enki. They where going to go shopping, and An figured it'd be easier to meet them at the bus stop rather than walk down the block to pick them up.
'I need a new notebook.' Oliver jotted down on his chalk board before he held it up, looking to An. An nodded.

"Alright, we'll stop by the hobby shop aswell while we're in town." She said, before she looked down the side wlak to see if she spotted some familer faces.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled as she heard the other two speak up, just in time for the bus to arrive. She lead the group on and paid for the fares.
"Hey Jani, I got something for ya." She said as she looked around for a place to sit, a hand on Oliver's shoulder to keep mind of him.
"Shi-shi sent us letters in the mail."

Oliver erased his chalk board clean as he smiled happily at Enki, before scribling away like a mad man.
'Hello Enki. How are you doing today? We're stopping by the hobby shop, maybe we can find some paints for your DND peices.'

He held it up with a wide smile, his fingers cramping from writing much faster than his usual.

Indubitably
"Sweet, Oli!"

Yanking the older boy into the seat next to him, Enki eagerly leaned in to squint at the chalkboard as it was erased, eyes bright with excitement. He thought Oliver was the COOLEST, and now they could buy stuff for their shared hobby together.

"What else are ya gettin' at the hobby shop?"

Left to sit next to Ancelin, Jan took her seat in a single, liquid movement, guitar already unstrapped and resting between her knees. She'd let the other girl take the window seat, as if to put more space between the clean-freak, and dirty regulars of the city bus.

"She did?"

Another pause, and Jan raised an eyebrow, brown gaze going past Ancelin and out the window, distantly observing the blurring objects outside as they moved past them.

"Why fer?"

She couldn't think of a reason the woman would write.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oliver scribbled down on the chalk board, before he held it back up to Enki, a wide smile on his face.
'I need a new journal to write in. So I'm going get it out of the stationary isle.' Oliver's writing was starting to get alot better, probably from the large amount of practice. He then peered outside the window, looking at the trees pass by.

"I guess cuz she's been gone so long." Ancelin said as she reached inside her jacket pocket, and pulled out three letters.
"One's adressed to you, the other two are for Sita and Spes. In my letter she said she wanted us to read them to them to let them know she misses them, and not to tell Indu about it." She said with a shrug, handing the stack to Jani. She wasn't about to pry into what Jani's said to her.

"She also says she'll be home soon, which is good. I think Shelly was just about to keel over from taking care of the kids by herself."

Indubitably
Enki nodded slowly, falling silent, head resting on the older boy's shoulder, now relaxing, since their initial greeting had ended. He just wanted to get to the store.

"Ah s'pose she's gonna bargain fer tha'."

Silence, she meant. Shi would want to make a trade, so Jani wouldn't tell. Jan wordlessly flipped over the letter, and slit it open with a slim finger, removing the stationary and unfolding it, face expressionless as her eyes skimmed over the words.

Indubitably
The two were strolling down the street, Jan's face reflective, head tilted to regard the dark, small birds that streaked across the pale sky. The contrast enthralled her. Luckily, she was absent-mindedly graceful, and the androgynous girl didn't stumble, but walked just behind Enki.

The other blond was outfitted in a sweater, shorts, and scarf par usual, yet he also had a war helmet stuck onto his head, and was jabbering excitedly to his stoic sister. A strange, and noticable pair, they made. A striking older child, whose gender was unidentifiable, and an energetic, squinting little boy, with a grin to charm even the most surly of opponents.

"Ancelin."

That slow smile, and brown eyes moved from the small birds, to the larger one sitting on the bench, a tilt of her head a form of greeting.

"Oliver!"

Enki was happy to see his friend too.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oliver couldn't help but blink and blush at the sentiment of Enki resting his head on his shoulder. But he ignored it and looked out the window agian. He couldn't wait to get to the hobby shop and get his journal, and some paints. That way he and Enki could maybe paint some of the figurines together.

Ancelin looked out the window, leaving Jani to read her letter contently. She wasn't one to pry. She humed a little too to herself as she waited.
"Under the seeea. Under the seea..."

The letter read the following:
Dear Jani,

I'm sorry if this might come off as a bit of an inconvience to you, but I was wondering if you could read the letters I sent to Sita and Spes for me. I nkow they probably can't read yet, and I feel bad for disapearing on them like this. I felt it was only right if their mother sent them a letter or two. But if you could please keep it from Indu I would apreciate it. She and I are having some.. Adult problems.

If you will keep it a secret, I know Ancelin would be willing to go on a date with you to repay you for your kindness, as she sympathises with me on the situation. I hope you can understand where I'm comming from. Anyways, I should be home within a couple weeks. I'll come baring gifts, so I'll see you soon.
Love,
Tenshi

The letter was sealed with a smudge of lip gloss.

Indubitably
Enki's eyes had drifted shut, and the young boy seemed to have fallen asleep, rather comfortable against his older friend.

Jan had quietly refolded the letter, and slid it back into the envelope, hands falling to her lap with surprising delicacy, head tilted as if listening to someone speak, although their section of the bus was relatively silent. Her mind, however, was not as composed as she outwardly appeared, nor was her heart, which was thudding rather forcefully within her chest.

There was no doubt that she felt a strange attachment and devotion toward Ancelin, she always had. But... Date her? That was... Did she even want that? And... Ancelin couldn't she didn't even really like Jan, she just tolerated her, really.

Gaze staring dead-ahead at the seat before her, brown eyes shifted emotions rapid-fire before she took a deep breath, and and shot Ancelin a look out of the corners of her eyes.

"Can ya tell yer ma Ah'll do et?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin stopped singing and looked to Jani, before she made a nod of her head.
"You bet, she gave me an address to write her back with. Thanks a ton." Anclein smiled sincerely, before she realised that they're stop was there. She reached up and pulled the cord to tell the driver to stop, before whiping her hand on a sanitary clothe she brought with her. Once the bus stopped, she stood and looked to Jan.
"Oli needs to stop in the Hobby Lobby first and get a new journal, then we'll head towards the mall like planned, kay?"

Oliver looked to An as she stood, before he reached over and gave Enki's shoulder a gentle wiggle. He then jotted down on his chalkboard, before holding it to the boy and standing.
'We're here.'

Indubitably
Jan smiled slightly and nodded, reflecting that Ancelin should stick to cleaning, rather than trying out for American Idol, and got to her feet, lifting her guitar, and sliding it into place on her back, as she stepped out of the row and into the aisle, waiting for Ancelin to pass her, and blocking other passengers from exiting until the other Sin'Aeis had done so.

Enki hit the seat Oliver had vacated before blinking his eyes open in a squint and peering up, apparently, he hadn't woken up with the nudge to his shoulder. Seeing the writing he also got to his feet and exiting the aisle after Ancelin and Jan.

"Thanks, Oli."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oliver hopped out of the bus after Enki, and looked up to see if Ancelin was comming. He then shrugged and looked to Enki with a smirk, as if saying for them to go without them. He did just so. He began to walk towards the hobby lobby, chalk board hanging over his chset on a string.

Ancelin smiled at Jani and walked before the potato girl, and hopped off the buss. She didn't seem to mind so much that Oliver had gone ahead of her, she instead looked over to Jani.
"Why'd ya bring your guitar with ya? Does it need new strings or something?" She asked, she was pretty music illiterate besides naming songs and the cute boys who sang them.

Indubitably
"I... Bring et ev'rywhere."

And it was true, she really did. The girl wrote songs herself, and never knew when inspiration would hit her, so she always carried it, along with a notepad and pencil. Shrugging fluidly, she led the way after the energetic boys, seeming content to slid her hands into her pockets, and stay quiet. She'd changed a lot outwardly from the loud, boisterous baby she'd been when they'd met, and Ancelin had tried to scrub off her freckles. She'd changed.

Enki matched Oliver's walk, then suddenly grinned and started to race ahead, obviously challenging the older boy to one of those five-second races children had to touch a door first.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oliver smirked as he saw Enki start to run ahead, and matched his challange as he started to dash after. Sadly, Oliver wasn't a very physically fit boy, maybe the slightest bit chubby to be honest. So he didn't run that fast, Enki would clearly be delcared the winner. But hey, at least he tried! When others would challange him to such things at home, he would simply turn his head away and get back to fiddling with his piano.

Ancelin nodded her head and beamed with a grin.
"That's cool. Vin-vin doesn't carry his on his back, but he never goes anywhere without his guitar. He'd even let me hold it when we'd all go out driving in his car." She said as she flicked her blue ponytail behind her shoulder. The comparason was a compliment, because in An's eyes Vincent was a god of sorts. And An liked that Jani was like him.
"Do you have any songs that you wrote yourself?"

Indubitably
"... Ah."

Jan had quite a LOT of songs she'd written herself. And she was actually flattered, since she knew how much Ancelin cared for Vincent. The blonde undid her ponytail which had been loosening, causing the surprisingly long strands to fall about her shoulders while she cleared her throat, retying her hair.

"Ya, Ah write a lot. Sing 'em summtimez ta th' baby sin. They seem ta like 'em."

Enki did win, but waited for his friend, opening the door for him. He was obviously proud of Oliver for trying, if one looked at the expression on his face, and patted him on the back, following him inside.

"'Kay, let's find some paint!"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"I'd like to hear one sometime, if you wouldn't mind." An said as she kept her eyes on Oliver, heading towards the door. She didn't want to loose him afterall.
"I bet they sound real pretty." she finished, before she walked inside the door, holding it back a ways so Jani could follow suite.

Oliver hobbled inside the store before Enki, gasping lightly. He was catching his breath, but he wasn't too winded. His eyes quickly scanned the isles, before one said 'paints and art supplies'. He lifted a finger up and pointed to signal to Enki that was there spot, before he walked off towards the said isle, expecting him to follow.

Indubitably
"Mmmn."

Jan almost blushed, but hid the emotion, nodding noncommitally and looking around the store. There was a lot of stuff that caught her eye, including new guitar strings, which she needed. Slim fingers took a pack off the shelf, and she examined them, eyebrow raised.

"Migh'y nice store."

Enki was only a half-step behind Oliver as they moved through the aisle, and the boy stepped closer to the paints, examining labels only a foot away until he found the kind Indu bought for him.

"This th' stuff, Oli... Which colors?"

His eyes grew bright as he spotted a barrel of figurines nearby.

"Lookit! Soldiers and 'nanimals! maybe we kin have the army eaten by them."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
An nodded her head as she watched Jani pick up the guitar strings, her fingers idly running over a shelf to check for dust.
"Yeah, Shi-shi takes us here all the time to get crayons and stuff for the littlest kids. But anymore we only come here for our hobbys, now that everyone's growin up."

Oliver smiled and picked up his peice of chalk, scribbling down quickly.
'Yeah! Like an army of animals with mutated intelligence!' He said as he walked over to the barrel and picked it up. His eyes quickly darted upward though, as something else on the shelves cought his eye.

Indubitably
Grabbing a few small cans of paint, Enki hurried over, staring down into the small barrel as Oliver regarded the shelves. There were dozens of animal figurines, along with several small soldiers and cannons.

"Choose a few nanimals ya like, 'n I'll grab some soldiers. There's too many to take th' 'ole barrel."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oliver looked around for a couple moments, there was no way they could carry all this. He then spotted an abandoned cart, and quickly snatched it and pulled it over. He then picked up his chalk and scribbled.
'Here, put the stuff in here so our arms wont be full.' he said with a grin.

Oliver then looked back at the figurines, picking a few packs of DnD beasts in plastic boxes, and even a nice dragon. But then he looked down and spotted something, picking them both up.

User Image User Image

A glass girraph and a glass iguna. He set them down in the cart with the other beasts, before he scribbled agian.
'We could use those for Gods. They've got glass people too.'

Indubitably
"Good idea! ... those two nanimal don't make real noises, do they?"

Enki carefully stacked his cans of paint in the cart, then moved down the aisle.

"I'ma get some maps if I can, you go get whatever else ya need 'n we'll meet up at th' counter."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Oliver blushed a little at the mention of the animals not making noises, that was exsactly why he picked those speciffic two. He then nodded to Enki and erased his chalkboard, scribbling down as fast as he could.
'Right, meet you at the front counter.'

Oliver watched as Enki toddled off down the isle, and quickly snatched a case of brushes they had forgotten to nab. He then walked acrossed the store to the stationary section.
"Journal... Journal... Where's the damn journal?" Oliver thought to himself as his eyes scanned the rows. It was all fancy loose leaf papper.. He had enough of that.

User Image

"Aha!" his eyes lit up as he lifted up a red journal from the shelf, and stuck it under his arm. Exsactly what he needed. He then looked around for a few seconds. He then relaised he had spent enough money that day, and turned and walked towards the front counter, he could already see An waiting for him.

Indubitably
Enki had reached the counter only a minute later, pushing his money into Oliver's hands as he dumped some maps next to their collection of objects. Together, they had more than enough to pay for everything, and it was divvied up into bags.

Jan, having already purchased the guitar strings, a small sketchbook, and a stick of drawing charcoal, held open the door as the boys approached, so the small group could leave.

"Fun hun'in, boys?"

An eager nod from her little brother.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin had purchased a few bags of aquarium rocks, god knows what for. And was standing beside Jani. Oliver paid for the goods and picked up his bags, before he nodded up to Jani happily. He came for everything he needed, and then some. It was a rewardful bounty.

Ancelin walked to the bus stop and watched as it came up, paying agian for the fair and sitting down, and waiting for the group to join her.
"You guys feel like getting something to eat?" She asked, before Oliver piped up by clicking his chalk on his chalk board.
'I'm feeling really tired. I think I should go home and take a nap.' he said with a frown, suddenly not feeling so good as he held his new toys in his lap.

Ancelin frowned and nodded her head, before she looked up to Jani.
"Well, maybe some other time then. Oli's looking rather pale now that you mention it."

Indubitably
"Tha's fine, act'lly. Me'n Enki 'ave a few otha thin's ta do."

With that said, Jan gave Ancelin the fare she'd paid for the two Reevers, and shrugged, with a small smile.

"We aren' goin' home yet. See ya roun'."

Enki hugged his older friend tightly, and scurried off the bus after Jan, not knowing that the next time he'd see Oliver, he'd be a lot bigger.

An waved goodbye to their friends and sat beside Oliver on the ride home, hopping off on their block. She rubbed the red heads scalp gently, looking down to him. He was almost passing out right there on the bus.

When they got to their block, An carried Oliver's bags and lead him into the house and his room. Oliver waved her hand away when she offered to tuck him into bed. He weakly scribbled.
'I'm fine, I'm just gonna lay down.'

"Alright." An said as she set his bags down, and walked out of his bedroom, heading up to her own. Oliver looked down and took the journal, and the figurines out of the bag. He then walked over and set them down on his nightstand, before he sat down on his matress.
"Argh... so tired..." he thought to himself, before he collapsed onto his back with his knees still hanging over the side of the bed, out cold.

Reading To Dante

Kellen Arrikanez
Kellen decided to take Dante into the shop this morning. He had a lot of thinking and planning to do, and not all of it he wanted to do around his son - because of the still-fresh memory of last night, and because the child was young enough that seeing his father cry would most likely be detrimental to his mental health. He carried the catfish to the center, and looked about for a place to set him down, or someone to leave him with. He wasn't about to set the child on the floor, or to walk away until he knew that Dante was being watched.
So he crossed to the couch, Dante looking about him curiously as Kellen sat down with the child in his arms. Kel felt his son snuggle closer, and held him tightly, while waiting fo someone to show up. At least it was quiet here for now. But he really needed to get off by himself. And Dante needed to socialize anyway.

An walked into the center, as if on cue, reading a book about Clown fish. She then paused when she heard the sound of russling on the couch, and peered over the rim. Oh, she recognized these people... She didn't like the adult, but the baby.. Well, she shuddered a little as she spotted his cat ears. But remembered that she got along well with him well enough.

"Hello." She said, not one to care for aquard silences. She had grown since they saw her last. But honestly, how could you not recognize a girl with yellow and pink eyes, tricolored wings, and long blue hair?
"Dante, right?"

Kellen Arrikanez
Kellen's eyes fell across Anceliin, and he nodded in her direction. He didn't smile. He didn't even say hello. He simply noted that she was there, and set Dante on the couch, kissing his forehead, and walking out of the room as quickly as public decency would allow him to. Something was up with him. Usually, he would at least have said hello. But no - he just left Dante there with her, seeing her as a responsible person, trusting her to take care of him while he was off thinking.

Dante, meanwhile, was all wide eyes and flicking tail as he made his presence known with a gurgle of happiness, and a twitch of his ears. He was indeed happy to be out and about again, and he showed just HOW happy by swimming a loop-the-loop in midair, and settling back down on the couch. Before, that is, seeing Ancelin, and making for her like a shot out of the dark, purring up a storm when he finally settled. Curled around her feet.

Ancelin blinked once, then twice, as the older man left the room. At first she was going to say something, but she got distracted by a certain somebody curling around her feet. She looked down and chuckled, before she picked up Dante and held him in her arms.
"Why hello there. What are you up to little guy?" She asked, before she glanced around the room, stroking under his chin. What could she do to keep a baby entertained? She wasn't about to leave him alone, not after his.. father walked out.

Kellen Arrikanez
Dante squealed in delight, and purred louder, switching his dolphin tail back and forth in happiness. He spoke.

"Anc'lin!"

He'd heard his father use it when referring to this girl, so he supposed it might be her name? Maybe? He said it again.

"Anc'lin! Anc'lin!"

Still not a complete talker, but he was learning!

Tenshi_Kuronaho
((Yay! Happy 3k Sin thread! ))

Ancelin couldn't help but awe at the small boy saying his name, before she stroked his head gently.
"That's right! My name is Ancelin. Your such a smart boy!" She said with a smirk before she sat down on the couch. She then went to tuck her book into her back pack, before it donned on her.
"Do you like books, Dante?" She asked, holding it out to the infant.
"This one is about clown fish. They have fins like you do."

Kellen Arrikanez
(( Yes, happy 3K ^^ ))

Dante swam about her a bit, excited. Yes, yes he liked books. He liked books, and he liked being read to. He swam a loop in midair for a moment, before he settled at her feet, and looked up at her expectantly. Was she going to read to him? Maybe? He'd like that.

"Anc'lin reee!"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled and pat the spot beside her lap for him to come sit, where he could see the pictures. She then cleared her throat and looked at the pages of the book, before she began to read the words carefully, even if she would trip over on herself every now and then.

"Clownfish belong to a group of small, brightly colored fish called damselfish. These inshore reef dwellers have developed a curious and potentially deadly relationship with the sea anemone." she then leened over to Dante, showing him a picture of a clown fish sitting in an anemone.

Kellen Arrikanez
His eyes went wide, and he grinned, flapping his tail wildly. He LIKED this book, yes he did. He had something of an affinity to fish, afterall. His ear twitched a little, and he reached up to scratch it. He was starting to get some cat-like tendencies. He saw a speck of dirt on his arm, and licked it clean before paying attention again raptly.
