"Okay," replied Rio, wondering if she meant she was actually going to help with the stealing. Deciding he would worry about that later he laughed with her.
"They will kill my people and my home in time," said Cheoro. "I want that time to never come. I will join but on one condition. If we ever capture any of them, I want to have a few seconds to 'Talk' with one."
Rio thought about this. Considering the fact that the Yoan have yet to show interest in Mauchi - or the entire planet for that matter - he saw no reason why the Mauchi should be so angry so early. It must be one of those outsider things, he thought.
He really shouldn't let him have a "talk" with one of them alone, and yet he can't lie to bring him along. Still, Priestist told him to bring him along. What could he do ...
With sudden realisation he said, with his fore arm set horizontally in front of him, "Okay, I agree."
The Mauchi made oaths by grasping one another's hand in this perculiar fashion, and bowing slowly until their heads touched.

Cheoro did the same as Rio and performed the oath. "I have not killed in awhile." He said as he laughed. "People dont really like me for laughing when i say that but..." His thoughts trailed off when he realised that he was speaking out loud. "Never mind what i just said. It's, It's just a habit that i have. It's a reason i dont use ranged weapons."

"Don't waste your time." Kara told Cheoro. "The soldiers are nothing more than puppets, and you won't like what they say anyway." Her voice had a dark undertone as she remembered her own past dealings with the Yoan. "They follow orders blindly. No pity, no thought. Puppets." She shook her head, her eyes blazing with a buried anger. After a moment, she shook her head, and the angry look faded.

"Hm, I've never killed," said Rio brightly. "Well except for Gundrick, but it was his fault the bloody place collapse to begin with."
He turn to Kara, still smiling. "If they weren't that closely controled, then the Yoan wouldn't have lasted very long, would they?" Still, the civilians are self-aware and self-asorbed enough.

"Yes," Cheoro looked over at Kara. "But these puppets are not made out of wood, but made of flesh and blood. These puppets also can feel pain, these puppets can feel anger, jealosy, and hate as well. Atlest i know that they feel pain." Cheoro said with a smile. "O, i know that they can feel pain. For they are still the same as us deep down under."

Kara shook her head. "They may be flesh and blood, but they're not human. I refuse to accept that the Yoan scum are human. And they're nothing like you and I." She said coldly. "Enough of this. When are we leaving?" She looked over at Rio. "I'm assuming Chris is coming...if he ever wakes up..."

Rio looked around and saw Chris still asleep on the wood floor.
"Un-unbelievable," he muttered in English*. He heaved Chris to his feet and shook him vilonetly.

"Does he ever wake up at all?" Cheoro walks over to chris and pokes him. "Hey, wakey wakey eggs and bakey. I dont want to carry you again, your heavy." Cheoro lets out a sigh and slumps alittle. "Ill go strech out my arms so i dont get a cramp in them."

Chris awoke from the violent shaking of Rio. Chris said with a sudden burst of cowardice, " DONT TAKE ME INTO THE BOUNTY OFFICE'S, I AM NOT A BAD PERSON!" Chris then looked around and observed his enviroment. He then relaxed a little and said, " Rio, Whats going on? Is this some kind of oath that were pledging?"

Chris quickly got dressed in the bathroom and hopped in the pilots seat. He then switched the engine's and turbine's on and carefully lifted the ship off of the ground. Chris said, " You guys might want to buckle up. I am a good pilot but sometimes it can get pretty bumpy."
