((I'mma move along with the story now. x3;; ))
The three men made their way through the grimy streets of Yoza. Hunter was assigned information duty, seeing as how he was the most charming of the bunch. While he gathered information, Amphigory explained to Gabe who the Historian was, all the while keeping lookout for Captain RJ Blitzven and his men.
"The Historian is a wise old man who lives here in Yoza. He recently discovered a map that leads to the Mystical Shards of Hearou; very powerful artifacts."
Hunter quickly found the Historian's location, and the three were off.

The Historian's Home
Amphigory was the first to enter. And what he noticed was an odd sight. The home of the Historian was merely three rooms; the main, the bedroom, and the lavatory.
The main room was a large mess, papers and scrolls littering the floors. Books stacked as tall as Hunter everywhere, some randomly scattered throughout the house, flipped open to random legends.
"Historian?" He called out, and slowly, the Historian came out from his bedroom; and he was probably the oddest sight of all.
The Historian was a Satyr; half man, half goat. He was very old; his fur was gray, and a white beard stretched from his chin to his chest. His half moon spectacles were worn low on the bridge of his nose, and he constantly tilted his head upwards to see out of them. "Can I help you?" He asked slowly.

"Yeah you are the one that sent out that summons for adventures right?"
Hunter asked calmly.

((*belch* That was a good breakfast. x3;; Anyways...))
The Historian's eyes widened momentarily, and he grinned. "I thought no one would answer my call. Well, come to my table, the map is there."
The satyr waved his hand, welcoming the three men into his home. He led them to his table, and unrolled a rather large map. At first, it looked like any basic map of Valenzia, with the continent, rivers, islands, lakes, etc.
"How is this to help us find the shards?" Amphigory asked.
The satyr did not bother answering. He gently muttered under his breath; a small incantation. And with that, the map began to glow. It was bright as a shooting star, filling the entire home with a bright light.
And then, the light grew smaller, focusing on a certain area of the map, and it began to scorch the thick map gently, etching what appeared to be a large castle. When the etching was done, the light vanished. "That is where the first shard lies. In Noviska. In Castle De Roncreax."

"Woah."
Hunter said blinking from the light. he shook off the effect.
"So I assume this Castle is going to have some form of self defense system."
Hunter said.
"Weather it be frenchmen shouting taunts from towers or maybe boiling oil dumped over our heads. Do you have any information on the Castle?"

The Historian laughed. "Sadly, the castle has been unoccupied for centuries. The family who lived in it has died out, and the castle was looted multiple times. I can't understand why the shard would still be there."
The satyr muttered to himself for quite some time, before turning back to the adventurers. "However; the map would not lie; so it is there. It should be fairly easy to find, seeing as how the castle is empty."
The Historian gently pushed the men out the door. "You must hurry to Noviska. To the Castle De Roncreax. Once you have the shard, come back here."

Amphigory's eyes blinked. He stood up straight once more, turning to the others. "The quickest way to Noviska the Vejyn Caravan. But the road they take is fairly dangerous. It'll also cost us some coin to hitch the the ride."
"But it's a rather long walk there as well."

"We don't have enough gold for supplies to make the hike. The caravan will give us shelter and food. It'll cost a bit, but it'll be better. Far quicker than on foot."
Amphigory then began walking to the west of town. "They're heading out soon though; we should head to them now."

((Sorry for late replies. GM is planning stuff. xD;; ))
It didn't take the three very long to reach the other side of Yoza. This side of the city was the merchant half; clean, proper, rich. Houses were neatly aligned and shared the same features.
Then, there was the caravan. They were near the end of town. They were a large group of colorful wagons pulled by Stregos (lizard-like creatures). The caravan people were gypsies. Simple magic wielders and dancers. The caravan had a specific trade route it followed, stopping at city to sell their goods, art, entertainment, etc.
A large man, dresses in a pink&purple-striped tuxedo walked up to the three. "Hawlo. How may I help you?" He asked, kindly, but with a hint of cold just the same.

Hunter looked the man in the eyes.
"You see sir we are trying to get to Noviska."
He paused for a moment.
"And I've heard your carvan here would be the fastest way there. What would it cost to hitch a ride?"
Hunter said in a friendly voice

"And wai wood I letchu on my caravan?" The man asked, being rather haunchy. "We have limited room for ourselves."
"Now now Bonne, no need to get hasty..." Amphigory removed himself from the shadows, standing beside Hunter now. "I told them you'd give us a ride."
"Amphi?" The fat, squat little man's eyes focused. "Is that you?"
"Aye; that it is." Amphigory laughed. "How many other people that look like me would know your name?"
Bonne ran up, shaking Amphigory's hand. "It's good to see you."
At this point, Amphigory bent his head towards his comrades. "They found me wandering the desert when I was younger. I traveled with them for around a year or so." He whispered.
Turning to Bonne once more, "Can we hitch a lift?" "Noviska's a long way..." Bonne looked over. "Five gold." "Five gold?" "Each." "Each? Bonne, I thought we were friends." "We are. But I don't know these two." "You'd need protection anyways." "We have plenty of protection. Besides, I don't know what they can do." "They can do a lot. We just took out some of Captain RJ's men." "What? I most definitely can't carry you now!"

((I'm going to assume I'm at least a good foot taller then this guy))
Hunter looked down at the little man.
"And why is that?"
Hunter asked.
"Are you afraid of the captain or us?"
