Ghost grinned and laughed. "Good boy, Casper!" he yelled out, laughed again. He cantered over to them and nuzzled the little colt. He lifted his head to Freebird. "I think he wants to nurse." He said with a proud smile. Casper may not have been his son, but he was just as protective over him and just as proud of him as if he would have been. He glanced sideways at Hushabye and, even with his head dipped to the ground, still saw that plotting lust in his eyes. Ghost's smile disappeared and he snorted, he was going to double his already-proficient protection on Casper and make sure Kipcha did so for Freebird Freebird. He wasn't going to give this stallion any chance to get them. Ghost knew the stallion was small, and he could hurt him badly, if not kill him. He looked back at Freebird and Casper and smiled proudly again. "Congratulations, that's a big step for him." he nuzzled them both, then cantered back to Kipcha. "Hey...I'm being dead serious, don't let Freebird get alone with that stallion. I'm going to be staying with Casper at all times." He sighed, the way Hushabye looked at the mare and colt, the pure greed and lust in his eyes, almost frightened him.

Kipcha watched Casper with a smile and yet a hint of sadness showed in her eyes. To her Hushabye seemed completely innocent, but she had never had to deal with more than one stallion at a time. She heard Ghost but replyed half heartdly and distracted. "I understand, I'll stay with her." While her own foal had been a bay, Casper brought a constant reminder that she would never get those things with her first foal. She swished her tail and dropped her head to graze, giving her a reason not to look at Casper. She was truely glad of the company and had become fond of the three, thinking of Freebird as more of a little sister and Casper as a nephew. The ear that had been trained on Casper switched to Freebird, keeping track of the mare.

*Freebird, calming down, looked at Casper with a want to let him nurse.* No, he needs to start learning to like grasses, I can't feed him forever. I won't let him starve but he needs to try and graze, he's already 4 months old* (ooc) Yes, I know thats like extremely unaccurate, lol, but it makes the rp less boring if we skip some time intervals every once in a while (bic)
*Casper whinnied in joy, with the praise and happiness beaming from his dam and Ghost, he continued to repeat the word he had just learned.* No! No! No, no no! *He stopped before Kipcha and touched her muzzle with his as she grazed, he liftedb his head back up and began to show off again.* No! No! *He continued to repeat this word over and over until Hushabye spoke up, at which then a butterfly caught his attention and he followed it about.*
*Hushabye sensed a disturbance (ooc)Lol, "I'm..sensing...A disturbance"(bic)between the rest of the herd, Ghost was more attentive to Freebird and her foal than he once had been, They coulden't know, could they? He asked hismself in his mind. Naieve in his youth, he walked towards the rest of them.* ...I'd like to apologize for how rude I've been...*He glanced about, not at any of the herd but at his surroundings.*..So quiet and unfriendly, and all you've done is been kind enough to include one of your natural enemies into your herd, Ghost...But, why are you all acting so secretive? Is there a lion about?

Ghost laughed again and watched the colt with a smile on his face as he watched Casper enjoy his new word. He stiffened at Hushabye approached. "It's no problem..." he said in a strained voice. He surveyed the stallion looking over every inch of him. The look in Hushabye's eyes was still there, and Ghost was on the verge of telling him to just leave. If he refused, he would use force. He stood next to Hushabye and dropped his voice so only he could hear. When he whispered into Hushabye's ear, his voice was deadly and threatening. "Don't think I can't read you, boy. If you even think about trying to touch Casper or his dam, you can bet you'll be dead before you can blink twice." He snorted, then moved back to his place beside Kipcha and Freebird, watchching the stallion with caution (ooc) LOL ..in the force.... XD (bic)

Kipcha raised her head and nuzzled Casper. She watched him chase the butterfly, gently swishing her tail. She felt Ghost tense and turned her attention to Freebird. "He's going to be a handfull, but he sure is cute." She shooed a fly away from Freebird's shoulder. Once Ghost returned she tried to look at Hushabye but had to swing her head over Ghost's back to do so. Kipcha rested her head there for a moment before looking back to Freebird.

*Hushabye thought about stepping down and just walking away. He also thought about booking it and rounding up Freebird and her colt, but Ghost and Kipcha, they were more hardened from a life of not being able to fly away from lions or other threats and not being able to simply stab them through their hearts and walk away victorious, The two could p0ossibly beat him with agility and numbers, but two run-of-the-mill horses could not possibly stand a chance against a unipeg, one who could easily soar above their heads or stab them with one swift movement. Daring not to take his chances, he took a few steps back, the three still watching him, Freebird now included though Casper was resting by her side.*
I know you cannot be serious about being so prepared to take me on...
*And right on cue, though not planned at all, three other magical beings glided down from the sky, members of his herd, outcasted like himself.*

*Hushabye turned as he heard his old companion snort his breath of fire, announcing his arrival. He took a few steps back towards the herd and watched as Mystekai landed, his hooves beating dully and loudly upon the ground, and his dragon-like wings folding into an eerie, bat-like position, resting upon his back. He snorted again, a big, hot flame flowing from his nose and mouth and melting into the air. He looked about at the earth-bound horses, Casper now up but hiding behind his dam who had darted to Ghost and Kipcha. Meanwhile two mares landed as well, one golden as honey little mare folded up her large and powerful wings which drragged on the ground a bit, and the other, more high-strung than any of them pranced about, looking evil and poisonous, coated in gothic, hellish armor.*
Hushabye..*Mystekai's voice was dark and quiet yet everyone heard him quite audibly*..You havent done a very good job at rounding yourself up an earthly mare...What's the problem?
*His voice became more hateful and his eyes beamed red, hot breath streaming from his muzzle.*

*Hushabye nearly cowered at the great black stallion, being much smalled and much more frail. Hushabye looked down at the ground, trying to dig an awnser up from the back of his mind. His eyes waundered about, spying Mystekai's hooves, cracked and chipped from decades of pounding the earth with his hellish spite, and battling stallion after stallion, winning nearly all of them, though his skin did not bulge or ripple with scars or gashes, it was smooth and perfect as a foal's*
I know that it's hard to belive, Mystekai..But..They overpowered me..Uh..Stronger than they..look..*His voice trailed off out of fear and shame.*

Ghost reared and screamed like hell-demon. He came down hard on his hooves. "What did I tell you Kipcha, he was going to try and take Freebird and kill her colt. Never before in my life have seen a more greedy, selfish, PATHETIC creature." he said with emphasis on pathetic. Ghost reached back and nuzzled Casper before stepping in front of him, Kipcha, Freebird. Drawing himself up to full height, he was almost as tall as the black unipeg. He gazed around at the other three as hatred filled his eyes. The others were taller and heavier built than Hushabye and only one of them was taller than he was, but not by much. Ghost in himself was almost as strong as Mystekai. All in all, the only thing that tod between him beating the two of them was their wings and horns. He sneered at Hushabye. "So, little baby's afraid. Figures your a coward, you plan on taking a mare away from her baby just you can have her for yourself. I repeat...your pathetic. " He smiled in a jeering way. Suddenly a loud wraith-like scream came from the sky and Ghost looked up, shocked. His best friend as a colt was screaming toward him. Ghost reared up and whinnied happily.

*Huhabye flattened his ears and charged, stopping before he got to Ghost, just as a warning. Feeling strong, he let big words fly.*
You should not assume, I was never planning to kill the foal, you stupid mortal..Besides, it's not like there aren't hundreds of other mares about, I know there are, so don't act like it's sucdh a loss loosing one!
*Mystekai stepped forth, calm, however and turned to his lesser minion of a companion.*
Hushabye, live up to your name and silence yourself..*He turned his noble head towards the four horses.*
My plans were not to tear you all apart, but you have such a fine example of equine genes right before you.
*Mystekai left that sentance in a casanovic tone, smelling the air about Freebird as he stepped forward, his eyes burning red. Ghost grew antsy and impatient and before he could step forward Mystekai noted it.*
Don't be so hurry to assume I'm going to hurt any one of these little mares..Or your colt..*He continued to gently press his muzzle against Freebird's back and sides. He lifted his head and looked towards his own gathering, motioning to Sepsis to join him. The bony and plated mare came towards the two in an eerie, ghost-like float as she glided across the ground, her tail trailing behind as if that of a spirit's. She stood close to Freebird who felt cold air stream and drift from the bony mare's armor and skin, her eyes cold and grey, she forced Freebird into stillness.
Mystekai finished his prodding and stepped back, eyeing Ghost but before he could return to his own herd a mystical being he had never seen seemingly fell straight from the sky.*

Name: Evander Sex: Stallion Height: 17hh Description: Evander and Ghost were best friends as colts. He is jet black and has dragon wings. He breathes fire and has the power to raise hell on earth. He also can summon fire around his hooves and forelegs, which grant him extra speed. He has fangs and glowing blood-red dragon's eyes with slit pupils. His forelock reaches below his muzzle and his mane comes down to his shoulders. His tail lightly brushes against the ground. He does not neigh or whinny, but instead he screams like a wraith. Ghost laughed at Hushabye. "You honestly think I'm some mere mortal? You shouldn't assume either..." Suddenly his back opened up and two huge silver feathered wings protruded forward. "And that's not all, they don't call me Ghost for nothing..." He then noticed Mystekai and screamed and pinned his ears back as Mystekai and the mare touched Freebird. He shoved them away from her. "Don't touch her!" he yelled angrily with his ears pinned back and teeth bared, his wings flared. He nuzzled Freebird. "Are you okay? Freebird?" he turned toward Kipcha. "Watch Casper, don't let him NEAR them..." he growled. He watched Evander fall to the earth and land lightly, despite his massive size. He smiled and neighed. "EVANDER!!" he called to him happily.
Evander landed about 20 yards away and before Ghost could even blink, he was right next him tugging at his mane. He folded his huge bat-like wings against his onyx body. "Hey, Ghost, it's been a while! How've you been? Glad to see you finally stretch those wings.." he said in his raspy, dark voice.
Ghost turned and tugged at his old friend's mane as well. "Fine really, but as, well, as you can see, we have a bit of a dilema." He said, turning his eyes to the 4 unipegs before him. "You arrived just in time, it's like you knew we needed help. And I'm gonna need your help..." he said dropping his voice so only he could hear.
Evander looked over at the unipegs and snorted while a menacing smile twisted across his face, exposing his long fangs and his red eyes burned like hell-fire. He then turned his gaze to the mares and colt next to Ghost. "I see you've found yourself a little herd, Ghost, good job. Is the colt yours?" he asked a little teasingly, but also eyeing the colt admiringly, his red eyes gleaming.
Ghost smiled. "Yeah, kinda. But no, the colt is not mine, I just rescued he and his dam from a mountain lion attack and they've been with me ever since. By the way, this is Casper, Freebird, and Kipcha." he said nodding to them in order. He then grew more seriousa nd kept his voice low. "Evander, that pathetic whelp of a whinged horse over there, the dappled grey one named Hushabye, wants to kill the colt and take his mother for himself. These others just appeared out of nowhere. Hushabye's afraid of the big black one, and I know I can't him, but I know that you can." he said quietly, while his eyes gleamed at Evander.
Evander smiled. "Well, either way, they're a good bunch, I can tell just by looking. And the colt is adorable." He then suddenly laughed, and his laugh sounded like a demon's cackle. "Of course I'll help, I need some excitment anyway." He blew out of his nose and smoke billowed out. He then walked over to the unipegs and circled around the 4 of them. "What a pitiful bunch, you are. You won't be any challenge..." He went and stopped next to Hushabye, towering over him, and blew a cloud of smoke into his face, smiling menacingly. "So your the one who's being a total b******. Keep that up, I'll be sure to visit you in hell..." he grinned, exposing his fangs again. He trotted back over to Ghost and the other three, hardly touching the ground as black mist trailed after each hoof.
((OOC) That's okay, he kinda does, but not exactly. I created him a while ago, but decided to put him in to even the odds a bit. XD (BIC))
