Sakura couldn't sleep well last night, though it was morning, she decided to do some tarot card readsing before she headed out to the library, to learn more about where she grew up. Soon she grown tired of readin tarot cards and decided to head out to the library. Though Sakura was nervous, though she has been at Ria for nearly a week she was stillnervous about meeting more unknown people.



Just be yourself and you'll be fine

The words of advice from her dead mother ranged through her mind, giving her confedience.
"Your right, mom, i'll just be myself" she said softly as she walked out of the dormatory.

Mia ran through the door and pounced on Izumi. "hey kid, wake up!" She playfully poked her and took her teddy bear. "geez, could you be any more lazy?" She jumped up and down on the edge of the bed singing "i wish i were an oscar mayer weiner" waiting for a responce. Getting slightly discoruaged she turned to walk away but turned back and pounced on Izumi again "I said wake up!"

"geez Izumi, relax a bit.." She laughed as she looked under the bed. "how ya been, kid? Long time no see, wanna see my new fangs? I just got them sharpened." She laughed again, "I'm just kidding. They decided to send me here to keep an eye on you now that I'm out of the hospital for good." Offers Izzy her hand so she can help her out from under the bed.

"aww.. don't cry" She said as she wrapped Izumi in a warm sisterly embrace. "They'll all like you, I promise." She suddenly remembered her babysitting duties, "and yes, I was sent here to watch you, your parents thought you'd be homesick so they sent me along for a little fun." Sets a box of about 100 cans of chees on the bed, "and they asked me to bring this." She grinned, the light in the room reflected off of her fangs. "..and don't let anyone here give you any trouble, I'm sure there are plenty of people here who would be willing to stick up for you. If you can't find anyone, you've got me." She knew this was probably the worst time for a family reunion, but in reality, she kinda had no choice but to be kind and play the role of big sister that she had to miss out on after her adoption.

"Yes, we're rooming together" She looked blankly at Izumi as she continued to speak, "my my, you sure have a lot to say" she laughed. She wondered what was so amusing about the woods. "I suppose we shall go into the woods, we might as well wander around while I get used to my sorroundings"

Izumi yawned as she came back into the dorm alone. She probably would have made a bigger fuss about Mia going off on her own if she hadn't been so sleepy...now she regretted it. She worried about her sister, and she remembered how awful it had been when she had been in the woods by herself at night. Izumi slowly got into her pajamas and crawled into bed. She was dead tired, but she made a small effort to write in her diary before turning out the light.
After she turned it out, though, Izumi found that she was wide awake. She heard the wind whistling outside of her window and she clutched Kohaku-kun closer to her, breathing in the comforting smell of its worn fur. She wondered how many people would accept her if they knew she slept with a teddy bear. Well, Mia accepted her...or did she? It was impossible to say, it was impossible to know what she was ever thinking. Izumi hoped that whatever she was doing right now and wherever she was, she wasn't afraid.
No...Mia would never be afraid of anything. She's really really cool. Izumi turned over and slowly faded of to sleep. If anyone had observed her in just that moment, with the moonlight spilling in over her bedsheets, they would have seen the frightened expression on her face and her mouth moving silently forming words that none but her dreaming self could hear.

Aki walked into the dormitory, looking slightly lost. Her bare feet made no sound on the floor, but the drops of water falling from her rain-slick hair left a trail behind her. I guess everyone is asleep.. how will I find a room? She began to walk up the stairs, careful not to let her duffel bag hit the walls or drop the book tucked underneath her arm. Her fan, tied to her wrist, swung back and forth with each stepI'll try floor seven.. that's my lucky number.. so maybe I'll get lucky and find an empty room, eh? She slowly progressed, counting the floors she passed as she walked. One.. two.. three.. four.. five.. six.. here it is, seven! She looked at the four doors with consernation. Which do I pick.. I know.. I'll cheat. Eenie meenie minie moe, catch a tiger by its toe, if he hollers let him go.. eenie meenie minie moe.. Her pointer finger landed on lucky door number three. Ah.. three.. my other lucky number! She slowly turned the doornob and opened the door to find an empty bedroom. Success! She dropped her book, duffel, and fan on her desk, and ran her fingers through her wet hair to get it out of her face. I should dry off and go to bed.. so tired. She found a towel in the bathroom and dried off her hair, then pulled out a change of clothes from her duffell. She paused for a moment and brought the clothes to her nose and took a deep breath. It still smells like home.. She blinked away the sudden tears in her eyes and changed, then quickly slipped into bed to get some rest for the coming day.

Izumi slowly opened the door to the dorm. Mia was already asleep. She gave a small sigh of relief and slipped into bed, snuggling her teddy bear and trying not to think about the snake close by. She stared at the cieling for awhile before drifting off.
