Shaydra, far away, felt Yinex and Yangex die. She opened her wings and took off, staying below the treetops so Shagon wouldn't spot her. She remembered Falcor and stopped abruptly, remembering where he had been. She decided to wait for him.

(I'm carrying Tyros.)
His wounds weren't going to kill him, but they hurt. He had escaped the black dragon, even with Tyros hanging in the air, dragged along by the gold's tail. It was time to land. Sigilos saw a small clearing, and spilled air from his wings to glide down. He hovered above the clearing, setting down Tyros and giving him time to move out of the way, them he almost collapsed into the clearing. He concentrated, Shifting his wounds closed, leaving not even a scar. But he was tired now, more so then ever from healing, and he wouldn't last too much longer if he didn't get some rest. He had about one days worth of energy, and then he would have to sleep.
*Are you ok, little one? You know what, this is getting kind of annoying, what's your name?*

Shaydra rustled her wings. She was getting quite bored. After all, Falcor was a dragon, and Shagon was probably too big to fit between the trees. The black would have to fly, and surely Falcor would spot him before he got there. Sigilos was probably gone, and Shaydra would be useless here. Making up her mind, she leapt down from the tree and prowled through the forest. Twice Shaydra felt something overhead, but she had hidden succesfully. Circling a tree, she saw that she was in a clearing of some sort. Better, Sigilos and Tyros were in it, though Sigilos looked quite tired. Shaydra walked out from behind the tree and nodded to both of the dragons. "Greetings, Sir Gold and Sir White. It is not safe out here, maybe we should hide between the trees. The black is likely too big to fit in the forest. Hopefully, you can become smaller, Sir Gold."

For one last hit, Falcor filled the sky with storm clouds and hit the black with lightning. It sent him hurling towards the forest, crashing through trees. He sped through the sky, searching for the others.

The gold began to shrink, Shifting to a smaller size. He grimaced in concentration. While Shifting was something he had been born with, being this drained it would still take alot of concentration. With out saying a word, he walked into the woods, standing under some trees. Just as he did, it began to rain.
*At least the rain will hide our tracks. They won't find us again by tracking us down, not tonight. So where are we going?*

Falcor could hear whispers of other dragons. He slowly made his way up to them, and saw Tryos in a clearing. He come down out of the sky and said, "I can make it stop raining if anybody doesn't like it. That Shagon needed to be delt with..."

Shaydra cocked her head. "The rain can be handled. At this moment, I have no idea where to go. I guess we find a particular place where we can hide from the war. My clan - or at least the remnants of it - would shelter us, but they are a clan; they keep on moving. There may be a few towns, dragon or human, that are neutral in the war. I would probably go to a human town and disguise myself to find information; however simple humans are, they do rake in a fair amount of knowledge. However, I do not know about you."

"hmm, I can stay with the gold and white while you go gather information." Falcor walked up to Sigilos, "Are you alright?" He looked for wounds or scars, but could find none on the gold's body.

"I do not think it would be wise to split up; Sir Gold and Sir White, maybe, but I would be unprotected," Shaydra said, shaking her head. "I have a human form, but it is a mere child. A child traveling alone is suspicious."

Falcor nodded and continued to think. Thr rain became harder. "Tyros! Come in here! Its better under the trees!" Falcor called.

Tyros gets turns and walks in next to Falcor, shaking himself dry as he enters the cover. How did Sigilos do that? He transformed himself into a much more formidable opponent. He said that we have more power than most dragons, but he never mentioned that he could change himself Tyros thinks, sitting down. "Thank you, all of you, for saving me from Shagon. With out you I would have most likely been captured or killed." Tyros says, hanging his head in shame. I need to learn how to use my powers, otherwise I may end up dead

Shaydra nodded. "The past is the past, Sir White. No harm done, but we must decide what to do, fast, as Shagon is trying to find us. Where should we go, fellow dragons? I will follow you, as all of you are more important right now."

"Thank you Shaydra, and your right. We do have more important things to do. When you two return from the human village, Sigilos," Tyros directs the last part of the sentence towards Sigilos "Needs to teach me how to use some of my powers."

The gold nodded, still weary after the fighting.
*I agree. It would be best if, while the others are in town gathering information, I teach you some of your natural heritage. The others can find an inn in town, and stay there for a day. During the night, Tyros and I can arrive there under cover of darkness and stay at the inn as well. While Tyros and I stay indoors, or at least near each other, the others can search the city for a few days for information. While the rest of us are in the city the first day, before we go to the inn, I will teach Tyros how to Shift, as is his birthright. At the least, if he can't get it right away, I can Shift him and we can get to the inn anyway. Now, perhaps it is best we left now, soon I will be too tired to move for a few hours.*

Looking west toward the setting sun, Shaydra said, "Agreed. Falcor can follow me if he wants, but if not, I can go alone. Westward is a small human town that welcomes refugees from the war. I stayed there once, before the good dragons captured me. They accept dragons, as long as they are accompanied by humans." Looking at Falcor's slim Imperial shape, she added, "Falcor, if you shall be accompanying me, we must leave soon to get to Hastern Town by morning. Do you have a human form?"
