Akasha "You rely on your senses, intuition and common sense" she said flicking her tails. "You've a good head on your shoulders Keira, that is your greatest power. Whatever you inherit from me or your father, is an added plus" she said with a nod.
Luckily Chaos had jumped off his perch, before the kit and his father entered the woods. He took a few steps towards Ombra, his shadowy outline blending with the mist. He looked like a human at first, until he came closer to the pair. His eyes glowed. An intense red. He bowed his head "I am Chaos, your uncle" he said in his mesmerizing voice. It was sultry and deep.

Keira smiled at the compliment and encouragement, she would need to practice this ... but how would she know if she was right? "Would you.... help me? I mean... have me meet others to evaluate and after I tell you what I think, you can tell me if I'm right or not? So I know if I'm doing it right?" Keira wasn't sure if this is what her mother wanted, maybe she just wanted Keira to feel her way through "I'd feel much better about keeping my siblings safe if I knew I was doing it right" and once she got this down maybe she could learn good tactics for getting rid of suspicious people like things to say to make them go away or the like... keira had so much to learn before she could really truthfully protect them and when she realized this she became slightly saddened

Akasha smirked. "That will be a later excersize, but yes i will help you." she couldnt help but chuckle "What do you think i'm doing now?" she said shaking her head, chuckling

Keira blushed, she didn't mean to imply her mother wasn't helping her, she had merely meant well... to give her homework and then grade it.... it was the best analogy Keira could come up with, but it was accurate "What do I do when I realize someone is to not be trusted? How do I make them go away? ... I don't want to upset Made, Corvi, or Ombra if their around... is there a way to make the person go away without worrying others?" Keira was starting to shift her weight from side to side, she was getting nervous about being a good protector ... that and she wasn't used to sitting still for nearly this long

Akasha quirked a brow "Sometimes you cant, not without upsetting your siblings. It depends on how they trust you. If they trust you completely then you can just whisper to them, if not, then you'll just have to keep an extra close eye on them" she said with a light shrug

"Can I make the person leave? Stand up to the stranger and make them go away instead of just teaching my siblings to run away?" Keira didn't like the idea of letting the stranger stay while her siblings left, it was like letting the other win, like she was backing down, and she certainly wasn't the kind to do that if she had any say

Akasha's eyes flashed "I never said run away. Nor was it implied" she said with a low growl. "And tell me, how to you intend to make someone bigger then all of you combined, leave? Try and fight them and end up getting everyone injured" she asked with a tilt of her head.

"Outsmart them, thats what you said earlier .... aren't there lines to say that will discourage their attempts and make them leave?" She ignored the growl she knew there would be more before the day was through, she wasn't on quite the same page as her mother, she didn't understand everything that her mother did, she accepted this, she would learn, and both her and her mother must learn patience

Young eyes studied the upright creature with more curiosity than surprise. Of course the kit had not seen a human yet so merely wondered why this one walked on two legs instead of four. A blink for the glowing eyes, so very red. Did they mean something? Nothing Ombra's limited experience had an answer for. He smiled at the sound of the upright kitsu's voice. Would his own be like that when he chose to use it, the kit wondered, marveling. Uncle. Somehow without being told Ombra understood that to mean Chaos was sibling to his mother. A soft smile -he liked the bow of the other's head and imitated it in a kit stately way.
His eyes flicked to his father behind him. Had he been officially given a name? It did not matter. The kit knew his name, like some deep instinct within himself. It was there literally as plain as the nose on his face: the shadowspot upon his muzzle. "Ombrascopio."
It was his first spoken word, his own name. His voice was not mesmerizing, nor sultry or deep. There was a softness to it however, and a subtle majesty. Perhaps it hinted at a potential to be mesmerizing, but only time would tell if that would be. Behind him his tails flicked, a gesture repeated in his eyes. They seemed to ask what Chaos was doing here -here, away from the rest of them.

Akasha smirked softly, so her daughter did pay some attention. Maybe this wasnt a lost cause after all. " 'lines' vary depending on the situation. you cant use the same lines for every situation." she said with a flick of her tails.
Chaos chuckled lightly, watching the young teen. "A noble name indeed" the mesmerizing voice again. It was rumoured Chaos could seduce a raging bull, lull it to a docile state. He surveyed Ombrascopio, trying to see into the kit's soul, searching for a trace of the curse that haunted his blood-line. He hoped, with the small pieces of his own soul, that these kits were un-touched by the darkness. Oh how he wished it.
A sadness, floated through his glowing red eyes. A sadness that came from the depth's of Chaos. A moment later, it passed. No one needed to be troubled by his issues. By his regret and remorse.

Keman kept beside his son, then blinked at Chaos. It wasn't the first time he had seen him before of course, but it was one of the few Kitsu he knew to stand on their hind limbs. He saw the sadness pass through the other's eyes and wondered why he was experiencing that emotion. He resisted the urge to ask why, instead, he sat next to Ombra. "My name is Keman... and from your posture, you already know to what relation I am to your sister."
"Oh....." Made said softly, feeling sorry for the large dragon. "Maybe we can protect you from those mean creatures!"
Maharet shook her head, wondering how her niece could be so naive.

Noble. Ombrascopio smiled, his posture relaxing a little. he liked that. Then he felt his uncle's scrutiny. A flick of his ear as Father sat beside him. The kit's attention however was on his uncle. Specifically his eyes. What was that momentary look that had been there? Why was it there? And why did Ombra feel it had something to do with himself?
The kit did not like to speak. But he had questions. Many questions. he flicked his tails. Would the adults give him the answers without him having to ask. It was not from restraint that Ombra did not ask why there was such sadness in his uncle's eyes in that passing moment. In fact, the question was there unspoken in his eyes.

Akasha's eyes shifted briefly, glancing to the forest where her mate and son went into. She hoped her older brother would mind his manners. But more importantly, she hoped he'd fed recently. Her tails curled and uncurled, tips dashing. Her mind wandered from her daughters teachings, to her older brother. And then, they merged. "The ultimate test...." she whispered. How would Keira observe and gage Chaos?
The dragon, couldnt help but laugh, a deep chuckle in his chest. "Honorable intentions young one, but i fear there's nothing you can do" he shook his neck, and padded towards the trio, towards the entrance "i need to see the sky..." he said in a soft tone. It had been too long.
Chaos briefly shifted his glowing eyes to Keman "I know your name, and your relation to my sister." he shrugged lightly, and turned his attention to Ombrascoppio once more. He watched the mannerisms of the teen. He reminded her of Danny, before she came out of her shell, but she was shy about her accent. He crouched down, his tails curling around his feet, his arms resting on his knee's. "You remind me of my daughter....she said not a word, for many years" he said softly, in that voice again.

Keira followed her mothers eyes, she seemed restless about the mist now "Mother?" she looked slightly concerned, she hadn't seen her mother behave like this before and it made Keira nervous
