its about the first ever paratrooper unit in the US history - they were the unit in WWII that held the battle of the bulge - they are one of the most decorated units in US history - its a great mini series made by steven speilburg and tom hanks

It was HBO about 5 years ago - it has lots of people you would recognize - no big name actors though -

So is Band of Brothers - just very realistic - so its pretty gory in the battle scenes

Its worth seeing - they land in Normandy - and push all the way into Germany - and its based entirely on the real guys who did it - from their accounts
