She looked at the ground, her Eyes hidden by shadows. She didn't answer him. 'Because the few people close to me left, saying those words as a goodbye.' She remembered how it had happened.
Sakura, You're annoying. She gasped, seeing him glare at her five year old form, then disappear.
Go away, you're annoying. The woman and child sprinted away from her, looking down at her now seven year old form, with disdain.
She inhaled shakily. Petting her tails absently.

"Sakura?" keeping his eyes fixed on her lan stopped stroking at yang and he walked closer to her and took her hand in both of his "Is there something bothering you?" Lan crouched down in front of her looking up at her "Did something happen?"

She looked at him, pulling her hands back. She faked a smile, " No, I'm fine." she continued smiling her cracked smile. Hoping that he would buy it.

resting his hand at her lap Lan continued to look up at her as her tails went along his neck "you sure? for you looked a little depressed for a second there." Lan looked back down at her tail petting at it once more as he kept his eyes fixed on her face.

her smile must've cracked further then splintered into oblivion. she looked down at his hand, a single black tear falling onto it. " Yes, I am a bit depressed, but do not worry about me. " she watched her tail wrap around his face, temporarily giving him a mustache.

"its best if you talk to someone about it for you don't need to keep your feelings locked inside." wiping the tear from her cheek Lan looked down at her tail chuckling as he didn't remove it just continued to look at her showing her what her goofy tail has done.

She looked down at him, hooking a finger under her tail and running it to the end. " Not for me, it makes things worse." she looked down, clearly troubled further. She put a hand over his.

Elfir, who had moved to the corner on the opposite side of the bar to enjoy his stew, finally finished his meal. Looking around, he decided now was as good a time as any to earn his keep. Hobbling to the broom closet, slightly favoring his right leg, he saw the boss chatting with Lan, and shrugged. Glancing around some more, saw that new bartender sitting over by herself, evidently not joining in on the conversation. Shrugging once more, Elfir muttered, like he had several times before, "Where is everyone?"

"you don't have to be troubled by it if you just talk to me about it and yes it may hurt you for telling me but later on you would be glad that you spoke to someone for you shouldn't have to be living with this pain." Looking down at her hand Lan put his other hand over hers as he held a concerned look for her.

she frowned deeper. Her face was pained, but it left to nothing but indecision. She slipped off of the stool, wrapping her arms around him and burying her face into his chest with a soft cry.

Looking down at her Lan slowly wrapped his arms around her as he stroked on hand down her head to her back "it's okay just tell me what your feeling." Lan lowered his head laying his chin on top of her head "just tell me."

One day, the little girl tried to wake me up from a nap, and i accidentally flicked my claws out in annoyance. I hurt her, and they hated me for it." She pressed herself harder into him, breathing sporadically. "They had called me annoying from the beginning, i found out. They despised me, they told me. I was nothing but an annoyance. They never loved me, and never would. When I was seven, they threw me out, literally. I was trash, and probably still am. I'm nothing but an annoyance, to everyone." Her claws lightly dug into his back. she had begun to violently shake.

Widening his eyes to the thought Lan looked down at her once again "but it wasn't your fault don't blame yourself for you were just startled but you got to know there is a new family for you and you don't have to be troubled on what happened in your past just think about here and now and I do ...." holds her tightly "..love you" pulls self away from her looking at her

Her shaking had stopped. Her onyx eyes were wide, staring at his chest. She was frozen, her breathing barely destecible. her mouth was slightly agape, and she had yet to move, let alone speak. Her tails had unwinded from him and were stick straight, her ears perked up to the highest extent. Her breathing hitched as she mouthed, not being capable of words, '....l-l-love...me?....'

looks at her with loving eyes "I do." keeping his hands rested around her Lan began to hold her close again as he gave a slight smile with a tear running down his face
