In my Lost recap, I made so much fun of Boone: "We cut to Locke, who apparently doesn't share that opinion above. Boone's with him. Locke uses the whistle. "Maybe he can't hear it," Boone says, doubting the power of the whistle. Locke says that Boone can't hear everything. Ha! A second later, there's a generic step-on-bush/plant/twig rustling sound. Boone turns his head, commenting, "I heard THAT." Then Boone unintentionally says the funniest line of the night: "Vincent? Vincent, is that you?" (Boone the salesman: Just slather Locke's Special Fruit Stuff on an open wound, and in a few hours you'll be able to: see island monsters, get rid of sibling obsessions, AND talk to dogs! And what will it cost you? Only $2.99 worth in island fruit! If you call now, we'll throw in a hunting knife for free!) I had a fit of laughter with that one. Locke, considerably smarter than Boone, knows that he can't talk to dogs- and that dogs are usually quieter when walking- and unsheathes a hunting knife. He holds it in position, and one hopes that he doesn't strike right before seeing who it is. Scott and Steve better not be wandering in the night.. Anyways, a person finally stumbles out of the bushes. A female. Blonde. Black tank top. Blood-stained. Bleary eyed. It's Claire. AACK! She's crying. The camera does not show whether she's still pregnant or not. Locke and Boone display the viewer's feelings of surprise. And of course, the screen goes black... On a side note, I can just see Boone as Gollum: "Master is hurt! Must help Master!" Tackles Michael. Michael gives him a punch barrage. "-gollum-" Boone gasps."
