"Well," Shaydra said, "Seeing as the king is dead and the world is to fall into chaos in a week, I'll just give the message to you quickly."
She took out another paper. This one was sealed with a dragon clan seal. Opening it, Shaydra growled, cleared her throat, and read, "Fyreodar, clan leader of the Duske clan sends his regards to the Island Nation Majesty, citizens, supporters, etc.
"He also sends a warning to the Island king in particular. The phropecy concerning the state of the nation he rules is to become true and Fyreodar was to dispatch a group of warriors to protect the king but has failed. A rival clan is preventing him from helping his Majesty and his city.
"The rival dragon clan is a Shadow dragon clan and is also secretly supporting the demon King, Karoshi. They have infilterated the Nation and are awaiting the demon's command.
"Our clan leader has managed to get one messenger past and she, Shaydra Silversky of the Duske clan, is now for you to command. Please send a message by any means you can and we will try help you, because of the generosity the previous Nation king has shown us and our debt to him."

"shaydra, quicky fly to your clan and give them the bad news," Luxran said. "Get together an army from the clan to help kill the demon."

Shaydra cocked her head and tucked the message back in her bag. " I'll try," she said. "But it'll be hard, with all those Shadow dragons. I'll be gone awhile. Don't do anything too big." Shaydra unfurled her wings and took off, floating higher and higher until she was out of sight.

"you can." Luxran said. "It would be best. Soviless you get too help me kill the demon king plus many more demons. Thousands, maybe millions. You must have fun doing it." Luxran stood up. "Rain meet us at the island nation, we will be there so you don't come back here to no one."

Shaydra flapped her wings once and sped west toward the setting sun, where she had last seen her clan, fighting the Shadow dragon clan. It was almost fifty miles to where she had left, but in the air, with a short rest in the night, she could make it to the clan camp in the late morning.
She caught a rising thermal and stopped beating her wings, opening them wide to stay afloat on the current of warm air.
