One down, two more to go. Then again, only one, since Unsane didn't really want Ariah to leave. The demon gave her a smile, before looking over to Gleemie, making sure she wouldn't be a bother anymore, before turning over to the new girl, and back at Ariah.

"You know her?"

[ Treat ]

*Ariah was walking down the trudded path when she heard the familiar shreks of Gleemie and the angry whimper of Unsane. That was never good. Gleemie must've not recognized him, it had been awhile and not even Ariah recognized him at first. So she moved to the side of the stadium bumping into a girl that had jumped from the forest. Throwing her a disgusted look Ariah turned just in time to see Gleemie hitting the wall. She laughed from under the hood and stod nearer to the two after taking another look at the girl.*

Watch where I'm going girl. Its better for your health.

-*Gleemie hit the wall hard and fluttered forward her head throbbing. She flew about a centimeter before she fell straight to the ground.*
Master. . .

...mew. She walked out from the forest, looking around at the clearing to see the grass lively flowing in the soft breeze. She walked forward, looking around even more with her sapphire blue eyes.

Monochrome Mystery
"You know her?"

She wishes. . . Now pick up the fairy. . What do you think your doing with her anyways. I've been looking for her. I need her to be awake also. My Unsane. . .

*Ariah kept walking turning back to the fox eared girl then back to Unsane. She stopped by him then looked down at the knocked out fairy and sighed shaking her head. Her head stayed toward the ground but her good eye went to Unsane waiting for him to pick up the girl. Her hand went out so he could place Gleemie in her palm. Even royalty needed to follow commands.*

"Yes, my queen."

Unsane himself wasn't sure if that was joked or if he did mean it. In any cases, he went over to pick Gleemie up, and more or less gently dropped her in Ariah's hand. He then put his arm around his lady's waist, flashing her another smile.

"She crashed into me. When I heard her name, I wanted to bring her to you, but then she went 'uncooperative' ... just wanted to make sure she'd follow."

Mwuah

*Ariah gently kissed Frosties forehead and realized she didn't call him Frosty. . . She had actually called him Unsane. Hmm. . . She gently poked at Gleemies stomache waiting for the fairy to wake up.*

Really Frosty. . you should be more considerate

*There. . . she felt better*
PostPosted: Sun Jan 02, 2005 3:53 pm

"Bah. She's still alive, isn't she? I swear I didn't throw her that hard ..."

Unsane truly hadn't even noticed the difference. He had gotten used to being called both Frosty and Unsane, from her and from others, so much that names didn't really matter much anymore.

"I've never really understood why you were hanging around with that fairy ..." He said while kissing her on the neck (being smaller than your girl was a pain). The demon always had that thing against feys ever since one decided to trap him inside Gabriel's body, and he still hadn't gotten over it.

She is like a spy for me. She goes and gets info and gives it to me. Thats how I'm finding out where Mic is and who hired me to. . . well get rid of. . . you

*Ariah poked and prodded some more at the fairy and also petted its head slightly. She frowned at Unsane the backed away turning to go into the stadium*

My skins starting to burn.. .

*And that it was. Her hand was letting off some smoke from the sun beaming down onto her.*

"Let's get back in, then."

All gentleman that he was, Unsane stepped up to bring his lady inside. On the way, he also put his hand over hers, shielding it from the sun, and emitting a soft, relieving cold. Not the usual harsh one, just a faint breeze to ease the burn. In fact, it might even wake Gleemie up. Two birds with one stone.

*Ariah entered the stadium Gleemie's partly crushed wings flinched slightly as she started to awake. Ariah smiled happily noticing and nodded*

You can stop now

"About time. Being nice makes my stomach unhappy."

Yet he couldn't help it. That vampire, while making him feel like no one else before, also had the side effect of mellowing him to no end and turning him into a sweet and nice kid. Good thing Gabriel wasn't around to see that. To counter it, Unsane just figured he'd have to be a bit more unpleasant later on.

- To the stadium! =D

It was right in the middle of the forest. In it's darkest parts. Where no one ever goes, where not much have ever been, where a few ever want to go. Gloomy, strange, discomforting. Dark, leafless trees bent above a single pathwa--

"Get your asses moving, punks!"

Spade's voice. It had thundered from those very depths. Indeed, slighly further in the forest was the access ramp Durem Corp had built a while ago to allow bigger machineries who couldn't use the elevator to go down to the complex. Night and days, guards had been standing there to ensure no one sneaked in or out.

The Bridget man wants us down there and right now! 'Cept you, Dreads. You gotta wait for the loser to show up and steal our job."

The voice, of course, belonged to Spade. Clearly, the man was anything but happy to see that Touki Sakami had hired a third-party to do his job. If he got his hands on that Daemon man, sparks would fly for sure.

That attitude brought an exhasperated sigh out of Dreads, who was waiting for Daemon just outside the tunnel's mouth. The greatest problem was that most of the security team shared Spade's opinion. That was the reason Sakami had ordered all soldiers to leave the entrance for his coming.

"He should be here any minute now ..." Said Dreads as he looked upon his watch. On the contract had been written indications to reach the tunnel through the forest. Hopefully, Daemon had read the part and didn't get lost, though both would have surprised Dreads greatly.

::From the time of the actual meeting to coming to this forest, Daemon had been paying his full mind and concentration on what was to come ahead. This woman, Leona Berske, she had to be someone extremely vital if in fact they had to go outside of the Corp in order to secure a bodyguard. Something didn't feel right, even to Daemon's elder, solid nerves; the black sky that reigned above was omen enough for that. He was but five minutes from where his instructions had told him to be.

His cloak rustled hard in the winds that swept low under the dead canopy above, the leaves bustling in upward gusts here and there, and some slapping against his body only to deflect off and continue on their rogue paths. His shades covered those same deep crimson eyes, the iris of which was a pure void in their appearence, not even the brightest of light finding a place to reflect from even if his shades were off. His purpose was becoming clearer as he neared the area; three minutes.

The last distance was a two minute walk, though Daemon could clearly see the enterance now open, and 'Dreads' indeed waiting for his arrival. The great gentleman of the Durem Corp security, Daemon only expected yet another marvelous greeting by the man, but the sense in the wind told Daemon he was more unwelcome by most where he was heading.

As he approached 'Dreads', the same tapping of metal coming from his boots as well as the silver chain holding his cloak together in the front, Daemon raised his hand to his shades his finger gently pulling them down only slightly so that his eyes were only slightly seen above the top of the specs.

"Greetings again, Fredderic. I hope my being here isn't too much of a hassle for your men?"

There wasn't disappointment or worry in his voice, nor in the bit of his eyes that were visible. The only thing that 'voiced' his emotions was the slight smile that played his lips, his finger raising back up to gently raise the shade back to their original resting place, his long silver hair slowly dancing in the winds that were picking up in the small clearing.

"I won't hide to you the fact that most of them are ... disappointed, to say the least. To tell the truth, even I can't see the necessity of your coming."

Hands in his back, Frederic shook his head slowly. The silvery white dreadlocks falling all the way to his mid-back followed his movements, though in a very weird fashion, as if the wind had no effect on them. In fact, even Dreads' clothes seemed unaffected by the occasional gusts, staying down and put, something most Durem Corps had a hard time doing even with no wind around.

"I wish we could spend more time socializing, mr Daemon, but I was sadly requested to press on as fast as we can. Mr Sakami estimates that for the amout you were paid, there was not a second to lose, and you had to get straight to your work. I hope you will understand. Now, if you will please follow me."

Without further explanation, Dreads stepped into the tunnel. It was really nothing more than a simple hole in the earth, going downward at a slight angle toward the stadium. Floor, walls and roof alike were all of packed dirt and stone, held up by wooden beams. The tunnel itself was easily large and high enough to accomodate four schoolbuses, and was lighted all along it's length. Drains on the floor stopped water from accumulating after the rain, and ventilation shafts were also taking care of stabilizing the underground humidity.

"To avoid conflicts and tensions," explained Dreads on the way, "We had to dismiss the usual personnel at your arrival. Since we couldn't empty the main entrance, we have to bring you in through the back door. I am terribly embarrassed by this disagreement, mr Daemon, but once more, I can only hope you will understand our position."

::He hadn't expected anything as grand as crumpets and tea, though the little information was truly all he needed in response. He followed 'Dreads' down into the deep darkness of the tunnel before them. The smell of the air was actually rather normal due to the noticable vents implanted into the ceiling, as well as the sound of some free water moving into the drains located in the floor. How quiant.

"Please, don't concern yourself with my comfort. I assure you that I have been in many more difficult situations than this one. Don't worry about them interfering with me at any point in time, I'll make quite sure of it."

His smile was gone now, his general gaze focused ahead towards 'Dreads' and the deeper decents of tunnel. The lighting was well placed and helped to accent the simple designs of the tunnel itself. He was feeling the reaches of the energies from deeper in the earth, his heart pulsing in a rythme that matched that of what waited farther down. It was strong...in fact incredibly powerful, but there was something even greater that this Corperation didn't expect.

Dreads' smile grew only a bit. the both of them kept walking in the silence of the tunnel until, after a while of it being the same stuff over and over again, changed. Concrete replaced the packed dirt. Lighting was much better too, allowing them to see what was in front of them: the tunnel's end. Taking almost the whole width of the wall in front of them was a hangar door all of metal made, simple both in design and in fabrication. To the left of that door is what interested Frederic, though: an elevator door. The Durem Corp soldier went over to it and smiled at the camera above, waiting for the door to open. Once it did, he only put his hand on it's side and stepped off to let Daemon enter first.

"Please, come on in."
