Mai nodded while listening to him explain. From the way he was talking she could feel her mouth start to water at both the description and the smell.

Another dragon, this time with eight legs crawled out flat on his stomach and placed a small bowl of lumpy gourds on the table.
"Hmm...magfruit. A bit out of season, but overipeness never spoiled it's taste."

Watching as the food began to fill spaces on the table Mai wondered how they could eat so much; but who was she to say anything she eats more then your average man does; it just seem like shes got a bottomless pit for a stomach.
"Wow so far everything looks amazing!" she says glancing up at Skyheart

rook and alan were flying a good few miles from skyhearts actual home and didnt think they were with in his borders but when did rook ever think that much when he was looking for food"alan,next time we see zing,we kick his a**"rook aid with a snarle,his black scales blended in with the night sky
"are you sure we arnt to close to skyheart's fortress?"alan asked a little anxiously,his golden scales gleamed every now and then when the moons reflective rays shone off them."why did zing eat all our meat again?"
"because he's too lazy to go hunt his own"rook replyed.he hoped they didnt fly to close to sky's fortress,alert a gaurd or patrol and have either one wanna be hero dragon bugging them or worse,a hole bunch of wanna be hero dragons bugging them.

Rook and Alan then heard braying in the distance.
Further ahead, a huge herd of cattle-like creatures with four horns and two tails paraded across the volcanic plains, and behind them, both Lilikith's and Ramaris' team were in pursuit.

Mai smiled at the way the food tasted.
"Well.. Mom told me alot of them were killed off or somthing like that.."
Putting her fork down she adds.
"When we lived in the gated comunity there was only one other Neko halfling besides me her name was Amiko-Chan, we were best friends.. The only diffrence was that her mother was Neko and her father human. But.. One day she just up and 'vanished', well thats what mom told me but I knew she had been killed because her father actually bragged about it; killing her.."

"ah hell"rook said as he saw the dragons following them"stop here alan"rook comanded and they both hovered in the air waiting for the others to come
"dad,what are we gonna do"alan asked
"we are going to explain why e are here and hopefully leave...and if those four horned animals down there arent important to anyone here then i think we may have dinner"he added with a lick of his lips.

No sooner had he said that, Lilikith emerged from the horde and shot a massive beam from his head, striking the lead beast.
With a stumble, they all collided into each other.
Then the huge Ramaris rose up and smashed the earth, causing a wall to rise up and trap them.
Rook and Alan could no longer see, but they heard roars of pleasure and wailings of pain between the indistinguishable sound of ripping and chewing.
Skyeheart stopped eating.
"Wait. Her own father killed her?"

rook raised a hand and out of it came a beam of enormouse energy blowing a oles through the wall.hovering through it with his arms folded he appeared to be useing no effort to remain flying,alan followed behind.

The awkward silence grew upon them.
That story has gotten me thinking of how my family was destroyed...
The sight wasn't pretty.
Half minced bodies were all over the place. Some of them were even still alive and crying as rows of teeth gnawed their legs.
