Apollo looked at his dad and them back to the girls. "I could eat. All the lectures and falling over makes me hungry." He winked and chuckled.
Eclipse thought for a moment. "Sure. I'm sure Cronous is okay." She seemed to do okay without him.

Dayht clapped excitedly, nodding. "Great! We'll...Ma? What CAN you make without burning it?" "Hey, I'm not that bad. How does soup sound?" "Oh no, here it comes..." "Day..." She sighed, looking at tartara. "Do you mind going out to pick some herbs? Whenever the kitchen does have what I want it's never fresh."

"I can go with you if you would like. Just... here." Apollo made a bit lamp one that should be able to light a kitchen with his father still in it. He then handed it to Tartara.
"Be careful you two." Eclipse nodded. "Now, where is that kitchen and can I help?"

"Sure Eclipse. You can help chop the carrots and such." She spoke, taking the lamp from apollo. "First things first though..." The half nymph darted inside and quickly returned with a list, handing it to dayht. Day smiled at apollo when he offered to go too, warming slightly. "Yeah...I'd like that." The fae picked up the list and stared at it slightly, reading down and thankful that she had been sent out for herbs many times to know what thing was what.

Apollo looked at the list as well. "So, where do we go? I've never looked for this stuff before? Does you power help out?" He asked as he began to walk making sure to avoid the mud.
Eclipse nodded and then walked into the HQ. "Which way?" He called to the half human as he only knew of the library and a few other smaller rooms.

She nodded, slowly following him. "My power helps out alot actually with this. First stop is the woods." "This way." She called, walking down a hall. "Have you ever cooked anything?"

Apollo nodded. "See, it is rather helpful then. Of course if you already know where things are then you already know." Apollo chuckled at his own odd statement.
Eclipse followed her voice and then found his way. "No, not really. That's more Cronous's thing."

"well, it helped out alot the first few times I went out ya know?" She smiled lightly at him, slowly lowering the list. "I see. Then you get stuck with just cutting duty. Can you cut things alright?" Tartara chuckled. "And if you cut yourself, you don't get quisey with blood right?"

Apollo nodded/. "Okay, so what's first?" He looked at the list. It was a lot of stuff he hadn't heard of. He wasn't really a cook or spent any time in the kitchen.
Eclipse nodded. "As long as I use only one hand." He then took the knife. He really didn't like it though. "Ah, I could use this."

She looked at the list. "Some murkweed." sweatdrop "Don't...try to understand half of what this stuff is. Normal kitchens don't have these. Tartara grew up in the forest you know, so she learned now to cook by what tastes alright, not the normal way with books and stuff." "Cut up the carrots and some onions please. In the fridge, bottom shelf." she picked up a pot and put some water into it

"Oh, I see." Apollo didn't really know what was normal and what wasn't. He had his mom and she did all that stuff. Or at least he figured she did. If not, then maybe his dad did?
Eclipse nodded and did just that. He began to chop as well as he could with only one hand. Though, it really wasn't all that bad.

She winced. "Its sorta confusing. But, murkweed looks sorta like a really skinny brown root from a tree only it sprouts right out of the ground like it's trying to be a flower, or a thing of grass" She put the pot of water onto the stove and turned it on. "It'll also be great if you could dice some tomatoes, but there is a specific dicer for that in thiiisss cabnet." She spoke while reaching up over her head.

Apollo looked around. "Okay, I see. So nothing normal like mint or something?" He chuckled and shurgged. NOt like he was sure that was a normal herb to use anyway. It just sounded good.
Eclipse got it out and then began to chop with it. He liked it better. Did seem so much like a weapon.

"Course not. That would be too easy." She grinned at him before carefully looking about them as they entered the forest. "Now, I might not be the best cook, but I promise that at least this soup will be edible." She softly chuckled.

"Yeah, I guess you are right." Apollo chuckled as he followed Dayht into the forest. It was a very nice afternoon now that it stopped raining. Everything was wet, but it almost looking sparkly.
Eclipse began to chuckled. "Well, that's okay with me. Edible is the best." He winked.
