does this mean i need a new rod? and grade D bait? You might go bettet with a performance rod or something, because even an upgraded strength rod only has a cast distance of 75ft. I don't trust D bait though. It usually gives me no better results than F and sometimes it's worse gonk

hohum.
Grade D and A bait are NOT worth it at all. You hardly ever make the cost of the bait back with A.

yeah. I lost alot of money with A bait and the game stuffing up stressed
Grade F makes a lovely profit 3nodding

You only need 1.38 gold per fish to make back the cost of grade F bait. 3nodding Wow, i must be really bored.

I havn't gotten anything other than junk and guppies. Well, I suppose it probably has something to do with my basic un-upgraded rod and use of F-Grade bait.

Errr, if I get a better rod or use better bait, does that increase the width between the two red lines? I mean really, I'm havnig such a hard time doing that, and I usually lose the hook in the last 10 or so feet. It's very frustrating!

Strength rod is real wide at the bottom, but apparently it doesn't cast far now.
Performance rod is uber wide at the top, and just a little wider down the bottom. cast pretty far, which means more rare fish.
Distance is only wide up the top, but casts real far.
