Still oblivious to Terra her prendant stopped glowing and she smiled relived Joeye hadn't broke her neck...
"Lets get out of here before they catch us..."
Terra grabbed Blizzard reins in one hand and Joeyes wrist with her other she timed it perfectly and dorted by the inn windows unnoticed drgging her horse and Joeye with her...Once she had pulled them well past the inn she let go...
"Sorry about that i didn't want them to catch us, now lets get to the market..."
Terra grabbed Joeyes wrist out of excitemnet this time and she dragged both her and her horse along at running speed wanting to get supplies and other things...She stopped when at the edge of the market, she took out about 80 coins plenty to buy a horse with, she handed them to Joeye...
"that should be enough to buy a hors and little something else if you want to, meet me back here in an hour or come and find me around the market...i'll be buying supplies, including some warm clothes food, pacs, water containers and other nescisities..."
ooc: sorry about dragging Joeye along, im just egar to get to the mountian and the market..i've decided that she will find her shinny at the market...

Well. She's quite in a hurry, Joeye thought. "Thanks," she managed, but Terra was already gone.
She looked down at the coins in her hand. It was enough to buy a horse. Well, actually, it was even enough to choke a horse. Suddenly, her first salary seemed so tiny. Whatever Terra does, it must be pretty lucrative, thought Joeye. Then she remembered the flash she saw earlier. Mm. Curiouser and curiouser.
She aimlessly wandered through the market. She kept only one eye on finding a horse. She was still mildly disoriented over the things that just happened. As if things weren't strange enough to begin with, she mused as her hand closed around the stone of Alaina.
Finally, she found a little brown-and-white spotted pony that was being sold by an old man with missing teeth. What is it about men here and bad teeth?! she wondered. The pony looked healthy; Joeye couldn't really be sure, as she never had to purchase a pony before, let alone ride one. But the pony nudged her so gently and looked at her with such soft brown eyes, that she reckoned he would do. Well. It's better than a bucking stallion, she thought as she handed over all the coins that Terra gave her, completely unsure as to whether the man with missing teeth was overcharging her.
As she hurried away from the man, she passed by a little stall where an old lady with missing teeth was selling gloves of all kinds. Some of them looked trashy, some looked gaudy, and most looked cheap. Joeye spotted a pair of white, fingerless, satin gloves that went almost up to her elbows.
"Ten golds," leered the old woman at her. "I'll toss in a second pair for that halo of yours."
Joeye lifted her chin in the air. "There's no way those gloves could be ten golds," she scoffed.
"Take it or leave it, little one. You won't find them anywhere else this cheap!"
In the end, Joeye handed the old woman ten gold pieces and took the gloves. As she walked away with her pony, she heard the old woman snicker, "Sucker!"
Joeye scowled. But she was too embarrassed to go back. Her pony gently nickered at her. She wasn't sure if the beast was chiding or comforting. "I guess I should give you a name," she said as she untied her bandage and pulled on her gloves. "Unless you already have a name."
The pony bobbed his head once, as if to nod.
"You have name? How am I supposed to know your name?" she said as she raised her eyebrows. Then inspiration struck her. "I'll call you Tevie!"
The pony stared back at her with an unreadable expression.
Joeye nodded to convince herself. "I have a brother named Teve and you kinda remind me of him..." a stronger wave of sadness swept her. Suddenly, everything around her looked so strange and unfamiliar. What am I doing here? she thought.
Something out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. Goosebumps rose on her skin. But when she swiveled around, it was just a little boy in an old, oversized blue shirt. That little girl's dead, she reminded herself.
Another strange feeling came over her. It was like she was being watched. Nervously, she looked around her. Did Mrs. Bibb realize I'm not coming back? Did she connect me to the pawnshop incident? Her hands nervously twisted Tevie's reins, and she began to look for Terra.

Terra was wondering between stalls, her tall white horse walking behind her not even on reins, Blizzard wouldn enevr leave Terra, and she would never leave him; Blizzard was like Terra's brother but sain and not banishing her from her own country...She finally found the stall she was looking for, she brought all sorts of supplies rangeing from warm cloacks to packs full of food and other nesiceties...she hung them on Blizzards saddle along with another saddle and some reins, she had brought them for Joeyes horse and being as clever as she was with market traders, she had manged to get them for a real price not a jacked up one...
Terra was heaind back to look for Joeye when she spotted a stall but not just any stall. it was pretty and covered with jewels of all kinds...She spotted a silver circlet sat on the stall, from it hung a green gem and Terra was instanly inticed she ran over closely followd by Blizzard who looked bored...She lifted the circlet in her hands and admired the beauty of it...
"Wow..."
A short women walked out from behind the store, she was hidden by one of the many displays...
Shop keeper~"You like it dear?"
Terra nearly paniced but she was intranced by the green of the gem it looked almost as if the green was a shimering lquid she loved it!
"I adore it..."
Shopkeeper~"Its yours dear, you can have it after all not many find my store..."
Terra was about to protest and insist on paying but the store had gone, vanished! Terra looked at the circlet in her hand and without a second though she placed it on her head; her wings appered for a second then vanished once more. Terra reached up to remove it but the thing wouldn't budge not an inch. she pulled out her green cloack and pulled its hood up...She then wen't in search of Joeye; it didn't take her long to find her, after all Terra could find her way aorund anywhere...
"you ready to go? i have a saddle and things for your horse as well as allthe thinks you'll need on the mountain and your cloack and pack..."

"A saddle?" blankly Joeye looked back at her pony. Oh. One of those things that go on top of horses. Like in TV. Wow. Terra sure is on top of things. "Thank you," she said gratefully.
Her eyes curiously went to Terra's hood, wondering if it's always been pulled up before.

Shoneya looked into his eyes for a while. The young woman was staring at them, looking from Matthew to Shoneya, Shoneya to Matthew, over and over again untill she cleared her throat to break the silence.
"Oh, right. So, um, why are you here?"
Shoneya was thinking of an excuse.
"Well, I defintely can't just go to him and say 'I'm a magical fairy who lives in another kingdom and I'm rescuing my friend who is captured by somebody I don't even know!'"
Finally, she thought of one.
" I was traveling to my grandmother's house, when I heard somebody say they were doing a patrol tonight to make sure somebody bad wasn't lurking around. I didn't want to get caught for something I didn't do! I needed to stay somewhere. I didn't even know this was your house, I just tried to find the nearest house."
Shoneya hoped he would buy it.
"Hmm, funny. I never heard of a patrol tonight. Well, I'm glad you told me. Sure you can come in, first let me go tell my father. You can talk with my sister while I'm gone."
The young lady smiled and courtesied.
"Hello there, my name is Elizabeth, you may call me Lizzie though."
She put out her hand so Shoneya could shake it. Matthew left the room. Shoneya shook her hand.
"Hi. Pleased to meet you!" heart
"So, how come you know Matthew?"
"Oh, I was walking near the Marketplace and we both weren't watching where we were going, so we bumped into each other. sweatdrop "
"Oh, ok."
Matthew came back in smiling. Then he said:
"Our father has said you can sleep here. We already set you up some fluffy hay in the room with the fireplace."
"Oh wonderful! Thank you so much!"
She threw her arms around him and hugged him. Then she ran into their den, which had the fireplace.

Terra looked at the pony and Blizzard gave a horsey grin, Blizzard was a horse and Teve was a pony but Blizzard liked any horse he thought worthy to be a friend...Terra was feeling warm inside her hooded cloak but she didnt want to take it down, luckily the gem was covered by the hood; just.
"I have a cloak and some other things for you too, i told you i'm a traveler you could of chose a better person to take you up the mountian. now wanna get out of this place a few of the stall holders look like there thinking about robbing us..."
Terra held out another cloak and a pack full of esentails Terra then chucked the other pack on Blizzards saddel, Blizzard was like Terra life line without him she would be help-less...
ooc:Sorry about the rush-ness of the previous post: i've been busy lately...Anyway are we off to the mountian?

I suppose it's a good thing that our steers look like they like each other, mused Joeye as she accepted the cloak and pack of things from Terra. "I'm glad at least one of us is an experienced traveller," she said with a laugh that surprised her. She's usually not light-hearted with other people around.
Since Terra was keen on leaving the marketplace, Joeye reckoned they were good to go to the mountains. As she shrugged on the cloak, she querried, "Is there any place in particular that you wish to go to, in the mountains?" Elohim is eastwards of the mountain, over where pinetrees and dogwoods grow. Perhaps in the middle of the mountain--not too high, not too low, she repeated to herself, in case she forgets.
Suddenly, she sneezed. In all the sudden excitement of fleeing the tavern, she had forgotten about her cold. Damn, she thought.

@toony: yep we do RP a lot...
Terra smiled and nugged blizzard forwards walkign through the market...Terra was more of a loner than a friendly person but she didn't mind Joeye and even though they had only known each other for about a day and they didnt no much about one and another, she didn't mind exploring the mountians with her. Joeye seemed trustowrothy...
"Nowhere in particular i want to go...I don't suppose you have an idea of where you want to go?..."
Terra wanted to get this bloddy circlet off her head, but she would have to think about that later, preferabley when Joeye is aslepp so she wouldnt see the circlet. Terra wondered why the stone looked liqud but she also wondered about the vanishing store and weired lady...
"If where heading up there tonight, whihc makes most sense so Ms. Bibbs doesnt find us, we need to head to the easiest path to where we want to go. we then want to find shelter quickly, there are lots a little tree dips and caves. Tree dips are like little hollows in the ground covered by trees...."

Trees! At the mention of trees, Joeye perked up. "Tree dips sound...cozy," she said lamely, as her thoughts were centered on locating Elohim. And then, as casually as she could, she gestured towards the east. "Why don't we start over there? I heard from Mrs. Bibb that there are...interesting trees over there. It might be nifty to check them out." Upon hearing what she just said, she wanted to smack herself. And she thought she never had a problem fibbing.
Her thoughts drifted to what she would do if she did find Elohim. How could she talk to him about her bloodied hand without Terra finding out? Does she even want Terra to meet Elohim? Suddenly, possessiveness came over her. But I'm the one who decided to see him!
Instantly, she felt guilty. Terra helped me so much. How could I be so possessive after all that she did for me? She never had problems with possessiveness before. The guilt that came over her was novel. It was an unpleasant feeling. Joeye hoped that Terra didn't notice. She smiled, albeit nervously. "What do you think?"

Terra had heard some form of guilt in her voice and wondered what was wrong with Joeye, she also began to feel guilty perhaps she should be honest and tell her who she really was and why she was here...but what if Joeye just laughed or told someone else? this wasn't the right time to say anything...
"sure we could head east. i don't think there's much up there but its always nice to start somewhere...."
Terra didn't say anything about the tree comment she had guessed somehow that Joeye wanted to go to the east for another reason but she wasn't going to say anything...Terra Adjusted Blizzards saddle and climbed onto it...
"Lets go then...you can ride a horse right?..."
Terra hadn't thought to ask thinking of it as a natural ability, it shouldn't take her long to learn if she could ride a horse and until Joeye could ride a horse Terra could attach a rope from Blizzard to Teve and lead them...

Joeye nodded. "I think so..." she hedged. And she proceeded to scramble on her horse. It was fortunate that she got a docile pony that patiently waited as she unceremoniously heaved herself on the saddle. Joeye's cheeks burned as she realized Terra was watching her. Finally, she uprighted herself. Just as she heaved a sigh of relief, her halo fell over her eyes with a plop! Trying not to grumble, she raised it back into place. "There! All set!" she said proudly as she looped the reins over her wrists.
And as if Tevie the pony heard her, he broke into a canter. Joeye would have fallen off if she was not holding on to his reins. She tugged on the left rein. "Ah...we're going this way, right?"
ooc: xD no, poor joeye doesn't know how to ride a horse xD

Terra realised that Joeye might need a little help with the horse riding part...Terra grab hold of Blizzards reins and kicked his side gentilly within seconds he was cantering breaking into a gallop at odd times, it didn't take Blizzard long to catch up with Teve and Joeye after all Blizzard was taller and perhaps faster.
"n-won-da!"
It was the Meran horse command for stops, most market sold horses knew this as it was widely known as a secret trade. With a gentle kick to his side blizzard knew the command was not to him but to Teve...
"Joeye you need to slow down, Otherwise Teve will be worn out before we reach the mountain..."
Terra was right if the rode at this speed they would work the horses to death...The current speed and the wind blew Terra's hood down revealing the circlet short of letting on hand loose she could pull her hood back up, her hair was now wiping around her face as the green gem of the jewel seem surreally still.

ooc: Well, mind if I join you? I may not do it every day or so, but I'll try and RP once a week (insert sweat emote here)
What do you guys think? Will she end up with Matthew, or Teddy (if she can ever find him XD)?
Shoneya was about to take off her clothes to get into her nightgown, when she noticed Matthew staring at her from around the corner. He blushed and ran off. She could hear him panting and she giggled.
She made sure no one was looking and she put her night gown over her clothes, then she started taking them off underneath. When she was done, she put her clothes in her satchel.
She sat in her pile of hay and started getting comfortable. She remembered her dragon doll was in her satchel, so she took him out and squeezed him. When she heard someone coming she stuffed him somewhere in the pile of hay. It was Matthew's father.
"So, you're Shoneya, eh? Matthew has told Lizzie and I about how he keeps bumping into you."
"Yeah. Well, what can I say, I'm a klutz sweatdrop Anyway, thank you very much for letting me stay here for the night."
"Oh, anything for one of Matthew's friends! Y'know, I reck'on I saw this person go by our house once, asked if he could use the restroom. He had a boy with him. Chestnut brown hair, green eyes. He seemed very nice..."
Shoneya looked up in surprise. Teddy! She thought.
"Did you happen to catch what the man who was with the boy's name was or what he looked like?"
"Hmm, no, sorry. He was wearing a hooded cloak and he wouldn't tell me his name, he just said he was some foreigner traveling with his nephew to their new home."
Oh. Ok then. Well, goodnight sir."
"Goodnight!"
Matthew's father left the room. Shoneya started digging in the hay for her dragon doll and found him. She squeezed him tightly. She then said goodnight to Lizzie and Matthew, kissed her dragon goodnight, and was off to sleep.

Whatever Terra said, it seemed to have a calming effect on Tevie, and he slowed. Joeye was able to relax. "What what that you said--" she began as she turned to Terra.
The jewel that Terra wore caught Joeye's eye. "That's...very pretty," she said, mesmerized by the jewel. But only for a moment. The huge diamond necklace that Joeye now owns mesmerized her far more.

Terra quickly pulled her hood back up and tucked her fringe down over the jewel...
"that was a command for stop, its Meran...And this is just a circlet i wear sometimes..."
She mentioned neither the fact she had been given it by a shady looking market holder or the fact she couldn't get it off... She slowed blizzard to Holt besides Teve, and attacked a lead rope between the two horses/steads...
"I think its best that Teve and Blizzard stay attacked until you learn to ride better, but you did quite well..."
Terra smiled and kicked Blizzard on into a walk, Teve being attached also began to walk onwards...
