Kane's eye twitched just the least bit before he resumed sneering, though Kika had already stood and couldn't see. "Yeah, yeah, whatever,' he mumbled with a slight slur, reaching up and rubbing his cheek with half-hearted irritation.
Crazy femme hadn't learned yet, had she? She really needed to knock off that weird stuff.
Regaining his focus after a bit, Kane followed the angel's line of sight and grinned, commenting without thinking. "'Atta girl! Just gotta' keep your head in the game!" He didn't think to hide his grin as he stood and crossed over to join her in examining the footprints. "Now, where did our little canine friend take off to?"

Glancing over the foot print Kika sniff the air, picking up the scent she smiles looking at Kane "I got her scent, seems she went further into Loki Nei." looking towards the forest she arches a brow wondering what would have caught the wolfs attention to make her go on this crazy hunt.
Looking towards Kane she nudges him before she takes off running following the foot prints.

"Loka Nei, eh? Probably just chasing some rabbit or something," he commented casually, swatting at her half-heartedly when she nudged him. As she took off on the ground, he took to the trees. Following the trail from up above, Kane kept a close eye on the prints while keeping the other eye on Kika. Suddenly, their mission to find Kal'daka had become a race through the forest again.
A competition!
Smirking to himself, Kane poured on the speed, using branches' flexibility to add to his own momentum and propel himself easily through the foliage. He knew that Kika had more speed than she was letting on and honestly, he wanted to see how much she had to show. And so the race was on...which would reach the missing wolf first?
The wolf or the cat?

Kika races across the forest ground, not really thinking about this being a race. She was more worried about her sister, she had to find out what was wrong that would cause her to go deeper.
Pausing she sniff the air again before a low growl admits from her throat. Shaking her head she glance towards the bushes as she saw Kal'daka peek her head out from under the bush holding a dead bunny in her mouth. Barking at the wolf she look up at Kane.
"She been following us this whole time it seems."

The branch rebounded as the feral feline hit it and dug his claws in to halt his momentum. The wood absorbed the inertia as Kane whirled around and glared. The scent of blood was strong in his nostrils and he had to fight to keep his empty stomach from distracting him further.
"You've got to be kidding me."
He aimed a glare at the four-legged canine, wondering exactly why she'd been following them...and how she'd managed to do so without his knowledge. It did not bode well for his abilities...he must be more affected by these crazy canines than he'd initially believed.
"All that worry for nothing. Told you," he quipped cheekily in Kika's direction. Then he turned a narrowed eye towards Kal'daka, muttering under his breath, "You had her worried sick, brat..."
