(Was it the hag comment? Or trying to turn you to his religion? Sorry about that. I really was reclutanct to type that too, but thats how Wick really is... He ment it as a complement though, he just lacks tact and good sense. But for the sake of the party.)
Wick looked over at shadow and seeing the utter disgust and intense fury in here eyes he calmed himself, his eyes returning to there natural color. "I am sorry my lady, I did not mean any disrespect. When the goddess embraces me, her dark grasp blinds my sense. But in truth, my Dark Mother has noticed you, and she is rightfully impressed." Turning then to the mysterious XX, his eyes once more obtaining the unnatural darkness. "I have no love other than that for the Dark Mother. I gave up such petty emotions when I fell into her service. And I would HIGHLY recommend that you NEVER touch me again! Or my wrath might be on you in the morrow!" Wick then turned and continued down the path, ignoring the others.

Showing not the least bit of care, Shadow waves her hand in the air. Wick is immediately thrown up into the air, dangled by one foot, and has his clothes turned into a clown's. She looks at him for a few seconds, then snaps her fingers and has them then turn into a ballerina's. Walking right up to him, her face barely an inch from his, "I recommend you never speak of your 'Goddess' ever again around me, actually, I recommend you never speak again." Muttering something under her breath she walks away and slowly Wick is let down from the air.

she opens her eyes and Shadow is walking away. "It worked!" heart heart heart

As the Shadow walked away a burst of black energy engulfed Wick, tunring his ballirena clothes back to hs black breastplate. Looking over at the shadow again with his eyes still black as a starless night sky, he muttered something to himself. "Yes Dark Mother, she is as you said..." He then brushed his hair back and smiled. "She is not of this world as you are, she has no power outside her direct control. She can still manipulate this realm though..." Wick then looked up into the sky as if he was listening to someone speek. "Yes my master.." Wick then said, in a most resolute tone. He then walked up to the shadow and continued to speak. "The Dark Mother Offers her apologies, She now knows of you and she offers you a deal as well, a sort of truce so to speak. She is concerned that your presence her may be a intrusion into her sphere of influence. She has stated to me that she will stay out of your way, if you stay out of hers. I dare say you should be inclined to accept; such truces have only ever been made with the Dark Mother but once, still long standing to this day. If you do agree, even if just for the time being, I will not speak of her to you, unless our truce is broken." Wick then stood, waiting for the answer. "Do you agree then Lady Karma, is it? Or do you perfer the Zelphyrian Queen?"

The Shadow stood and stared at Wick for several seconds, blinked, then replied "Would you please tell me exactly why I should care?"

Alright... If you two are done having your hissy fit:
Not speaking to one another (or speaking and not saying nice things to one another), you press forward. Ahead of you, you hear the chittering of more imps, distant in the tunnel. This is definitely where the other demons retreated to. As you pass by a side-passage, the man you rescued looks at it and speaks in a hushed tone.
"There. I'm pretty sure it was down this side passage that they were holding me before they took me to that central chamber. If anyone else is alive, they'll be down here."
Ahead of you the main group of demons is likely perched. Where do you want to go?

'I say we find the people. Then we can use them as bait for the imps. Could be fun, watching them suffer...' He turns to the man we rescued and silently grins menacingly from behind his mask.

Wick continued along. He thought to himself, "Why should she care... oh well. We will see.. it's all only a maater of time." Wick kept quiet untill the group came to the break. "Well, we could rescue them, though if the demons are regrouping, we have waisted enough time already. We should destroy the monsters, then rescue the people."

You don't need to contemplate the issue for too long. Four Imps, two Blazens, and two Fire Elementals move to attack you. The Imps can't do much prior to charging themselves up for combat, but they're additional targets to worry about while the Blazens charge in, attacking and Smashing XX and Shadow while each Fire Elemental uses Singe on Wick and one attacks nuku while the other attacks Tarothin.
