Aw well I guess the best way to describe it would be a rice cake with no rice chunks. Basically its a rice baised sugary sweet dessert and it comes in a variety of flavors depending on whats put into it.

*Starts mixing up some more Mochiko and throws another batch into the oven* Oh bty there is tons of recipies on the internet that you could try youself. Heck there are some that can be done in the microwave. But my favorite is the Oven baked Butter Mochi. It has this thin layer on top that is just sweet like you wouldnt belvie and the sorta gelatenous rice inside is just mouth wattering.
