Chapter 7

I stared at the rock sitting on my finger. About two months passed since. Gerard has been getting more ummm… creepy. As in obsessive creepy. The entire wedding planning almost made me insane. Cake and Ice cream or ice-cream cake. White or darker wedding…
“What do you think white roses or red?” Gerard asked me comparing the two as I laid on the floor of the hotel room in State College.
“Gerard do you have to ask me now?” I groaned. He knew I was getting sick off it.
“Because, love.” He said crawling over toward me and kissing me on the cheek, “Don’t you want a perfect wedding?”
“Yeah. But asking me a question about it every second when you have the time to?” I said giving him a kiss back.
“Well, just answer this one.” Gerard sighed.
“Red. And for the white or dark wedding, I was thinking of blue. Of, course, you would still wear a original black suit though.”
“Ok. Now, do you want to go out to eat?”
“Yeah. I’m hungry.” We walked to the nearest restaurant, which was Subway.

~Time Skip~ ~Few hours earlier~

“Carrie!” My mom yelled over my blasting music on my computer. I paused it and answered.
“Yeah!!!” I ran over to the steps.
“Hurry up. We’re eating over in State, so move it.” I grabbed my hoodie and we headed for State College for a My Chemical Romance concert.
“Mom, I want to meet them.” I said while we listened to My Chem music. She didn’t answer. She just nodded her head. I guessed she didn’t care that much. I forgot I brought my friend Caley with me.
“Hey, Caley. Do you want to meet My Chemical Romance?” I asked her.
“Yeah!”
“Good because I drew a picture of them and I want them to sign it.”

~Time Skip~ ~Two hours later~

“Finally.” I said looking outside the window starting to see State a little more clearly.
“How ‘bout we eat at Subway?” My mom suggested and was automatically driving there without our (me and caley’s) OK. Well, we got out of the car. And I swore I thought I saw Gerard Way.
“Caley!! I thought I just seen Gerard Way walk into the Subway.” I practically yelled.
“Oh, my God! Where?” She was kind of excited.
“Look in Subway!” I yelled. She looked over my mom.
“Gee, that is him.” She whispered to me as we walked into Subway, “But who’s that girl with him.”
“That’s his fiancée, you idiot.” I whispered, “She has the same last name as me!”
“Holy. Are you serious?”
“Yeah. Ask her what her last name is?” I nudged Caley toward the strange, yet pretty woman in front of us. Caley tapped her on the shoulder.
“Excuse me miss, but what’s your last name?”
“Lathero.”
“Hah! I told you!” I yelled really loud having Gerard turn around.
“Told her what?” He asked me. I had my eyes as big as saucepans.
“Ummm… nothing.” I smiled to try to hide the truth.
“Ok.” He said and turned around. He turned around again. “By the way, are you going to see My Chemical Romance?” He asked both Caley and me. He must have seen my hoodie.
“Yeah, why?”
“I’ll look for you in the crowd, but it probably won’t be possible, but I’ll give you this.” He handed Caley and me a backstage pass.
“Thank you!” I stuck out my hand to shake his. We shook hands, and me trying to suppress my inner fangirl. He finished ordering, and I guessed he got it To Go because as soon as he got his order and his fiancée got hers, they left. Caley and I sat at a different table than my mom.
“Can you believe it? Gerard Way might be marring my cousin or aunt or whatever, and he gave us backstage passes.” I asked Caley as I ate my sub keeping track of the time.
“Oh… yeah. This is awesome.” Caley commented.

If that ever happened to me, I would jump off a cliff.
