Streamjumper Ashram McDuck Finally got to watch ep. 11! Overall ... I wasn't as pleased as I thought I would be. I really feel like the series is trying to present too much, too fast in recent episodes. If there really is going to be a second season to this, I think they could slow down a little bit and not rush the important parts. (ie. Simon's speech - It was a pretty good awakening moment, but damn, it was much too rushed) Other than that ... I really like Guame, and I swear his is the same VA who did the voice of one of the Kumichos in Akagi. (the bald one during the Urabe battle) There are currently no plans for a second season. And they have a fair amount of ground to cover, which might explain things feeling rushed to you. Yeah, unfortunately there is no second season planned as of right now. I think there's a difference between "Rushed" and "fast-paced"...and given the overall feel of Gurren Lagaan, it seems more of the latter. They don't rush it to the point where I am having trouble enjoying it, at least imo.

I was still under the impression that there was a second season, at the very least, mentioned, but Kin pointed out that the announcement did not say specifically what was going to be done. A second show or a second season. Never-the-less, Simon's speech (while still a good one) could have been so much more. At least in my mind.

Did I miss something in episode 8? Why does some girl think Yoko's responsible for Kamina's death?

Yoko Gurren-Dan Did I miss something in episode 8? Why does some girl think Yoko's responsible for Kamina's death? Probably because she 'distracted' him. rolleyes Either that or it was sarcastic, like the comment on Nia's hair. I didnt' take it too seriously.

I'm not really taking it seriously, I was just confused... @ Stream: Still not Yoko's fault. If anything, Kamina initiated that kiss... Not that Yoko's complaining. It looked like one hell of a kiss. heart

I'm kinda disappointed that the only GL thread I can find in my subforum is more or less pure spam, picture post, a bit of RP, and roughly a quarter of a page of light discussion out of 4 pages.
I tried to move it, but the tools were moving slow... I think it has until I make it back into series before it dies.
