Umbra looked towards the ground, and then etched "Different before" into one of her hands.

Kitty nodded, and whispered even closer to Umbra. "I was in the same HQ as Erica, long ago." She looked at Umbra with puzzlement "I don't recall you. Should I? "

Umbra moved his head so that she could clearly see it, and shook his head "no." He then etched "I'm different now" into her hand.

Kat nodded. "I understand, in a way, we all are. But you, in you the change is strong. I see." Kitty sighed and offered a smile. "Perhaps we should sit down when talking about such things. That, or another dance is in order. Waht do you think?" She grinned again.

Umbra chuckled a little, the laugh sounding wheezy. He moved farther into the dancefloor, beckoning for her to follow him.

Kitty followed. She turned and danced to the beat, tossing her hair and having a great time.

Umbra continued to dance, making sure not to make many head movements. Someone bumped into him, causing him to stumble, and when he went to get back up, someone stepped on his scarf, pulling it off of him. He scrambled as fast as he could to recover it, and when he did, he put it back on as quickly as possible.

Umbra jumped up, fixing the scarf, and laughed. He moved closer, and etched "You have no idea" onto her hand.

As they danced, Scott looked around the room at the other dancers. He stopped when he saw the guy of another couple dip his girl and then give him a showoffish look. "Did you see that Erica? That couple over there is calling us out! They think they're better! Well we'll show them!!" He used his superspeed to twirl Erica.
