Skrae Cornetto1 nikki stix Cornetto1 nikki stix No theyre not... well okay depends how they look on a person. Like me, i could never have a noce piercing, itd look ugly and dumb.. REALLY heavy girls cant have corsets cuz no one wants to look, and uber skinny chick would look icky with thyre nipples pierced Each to their own I guess, but both are a turn off for me ._. lmao. well thats good on my part. I like piercing, but.... im more of a tattoo girl. Ugh, needles. I don't really like any form of body mutilation ._. Its not neccessarily mutilation. Modification, yes. Mutilation connotates painful disfigurement against one's wishes. he loks at it as permanent markings.. i guess. i think of it as art and like it says on my profile, my body=my canvas

What bothers me is the popularization of actual self-mutilation. Sorry, but while the subject's around.... Cutting/burning/& etc. Should not be popularized. Except perhaps as fact, and not part of any particular societal group. (I did a report on it...) In fact, perhaps information should be spread about what to do to control/prevent recurrences.

I know what you both mean. I hate needles myself, but have plans for decorating myself. Yeah, I call it decoration. *shrug* But both views make sense.

Though I'd like to add that in that sort of scenario where the kid is growing in a religious family, some families are supposed to bring up their children in that particular religion. But in addition to that, I believe that it's the parents' duty to make sure that their children has to ability to make decisions for themselves. I agree with (i blieve Skrae said it) the maturity level of people. That has so much to do with what people choose to believe.
For instance, I've been brought up into a Christian family, and to be honest I've challenged my faith, and still do this point, questioning many things. I've decided that many of the things do make sense, and those that don't just require a lot of faith. Which is something you really need in a love relationship, in any relationship actually. It's why I really love this religion because we're encouraged to question things.

I was brought up semi-christian, but my pessimistic cynical nature has completely ruled out any belief that was drilled into me

One of my friends had told me that my arms have nice canvas space. Though I've been wanting a tatt on my chest. I'm kinda scared of getting a tatt on my arm though (I've got some … marks on there already).

nikki stix Norayr I guess the only thing to do is change yourself? Since your friends are all what you don't like, you've gotta change something about yourself so that you don't attract those types of crowds, find some new friends, or something else. What do you think? Nah ive tried to change.. and thats what caused my longest relationship to end. So i figured ill just be me. Its just the ones i like end up my friends then when i do get a boyfriend theyre over protective and over barring.. its quite amusing to see my boyfriend having to compete with my best friends. Ive grown up with guys i know how they think, and i can up their girls any day and the girls know it and are intimidated by it. I scare people without even talking. My guy friends keep me on a pedalstool.. its lik im the one to be like or beat. But idk my boyfriends always turn out shitty. like thsi one (eric) his friends hated me for multiple reasons. he never stood up for me, his friends made fun of me, picked on me, forced me to do s**t, id wake up not knwoing where i was and why i wasnt where i was before. They kidnaped me one night and took me camping, didnt feed me and other s**t happened all i remember of that whole night is the sower episode and puking for hours the waking up in the truck. Oh my God. That is very messed up. I tell you one thing, if anyone remotely did something like that to my girlfriend, my family, my friend, anyone close to me, they'd wish they had never known me. I mean, I am a pretty nice, calm person, but if something wrong is happening to anyone, I just can't stand around and have that happen. I'm sorry to hear that that has happened to you.

I'm pretty cynical as well. Religion is actually one of my majors though. Heh. I find it fascinating.
Nikki, Im sorry as hell that happened to you. Worst I had to put up with was being put down and hit by one of my exes. Anybody did that to someone I knew... I might actually lose my temper...which I have never actually done. In 18 years.
Norayr...you said you had marks? I wont ask, because that would be rude. I do too...if they're what I'm thinking of. *shrug* Tats can cover them.
