Anna looked at Saku, concerned. "Hey, I'm not going to ask who he is, since he seems to be a touchy subject, but can I get you something? You okay?" She pulled the dragon off her head and held it infront of Saku and said with a hey-cheer-up smile "Wanna hug the mini-dragon?"

"No..." Saku replied and sighed. "He was my only friend in the forest. I never told him when I was coming to the forest or where I would be but he would always be there. He was the one who trained me. His name was Zenik....he was an elf from the Other World. When someone saw us training together they snitched to thier stupid king....They took Zenik from me the very next day. Four soldiers attacked and we tried to fight them. I was knocked out and when I came too Zenik was gone...." Saku wiped her tears with her good hand. "I had been a help for a whole two seconds. The soldiers were too strong for me back then, and if I know Zenik, the moment I fell unconcious he told the soldiers he would go with them without a fight if I was not harmed....I never saw him again! THey tortured him. I know it....He would die by that torture before giving them the satisfaction of hearing him scream and beg for mercy...."

Kyo listened to her story silently. It was slightly shocked of what happened.---------------------- He felt his cheeks turn a light red. "I wasen't following you! Just watching...." Ryuu rasied an eyebrow when she left. He smirked. It was him she as talking about, the boy who needed to know everything. He climbed down and followed her, being silent. He hid behind bushes and peeked through. Ryuu watched Cloud take of her top and was glade her back was to him. Bandages? She took that off and he saw deep lash marks. He growled, a little to loadly.

Anna stood in silence for a moment before speaking. "Did Zenik know what would happen if he trained you?"

Cloud turned around half way and glared into the bushes.
"RYUU!!!!!!!" she yelled.
Then winced and tip dripped more water onto her back. She stared into the bushes knowing that he had followed her. Cloud cursed herself for telling him to stay. It would have been better had she just left.

Ryuu stood and stepped out of the bushes. He turned his back to her so he couldn't see anything. "What are those marks from?"

"its nothing Ryuu" she said.
She continued to bandage herself all the way around again. When they were good and tight she put her shirt back on over the top of them. Tip sat on her shoulder glowing blue to ease the pain.
"you can turn around now" she said sternly.

Ryuu turned and walked over to her. He looked her in the eyes. "Its not nothing Cloud. Now tell me what happened."

"its none of your concern Ryuu" she said "its just a few scratches"
She removed tip from her shoulder and cradled him in her hand.
"you'll exhaust yourself again" she said "no more. You've helped enough my friend"
He purred gently and she smiled nodding. The little ball curled up in her pocket again. She looked at Ryuu again.

Ryuu stared at her. He wanted to know but it didn't sound like she would tell him. He sighed. "Ok." He patted Tip on the head. "We should be getting back. Its getting dark."

"I've asked myself that millions of times...Why would he train me if he knew what would happen? I bet he did know. But he was my best friend. He was the first one to ever accept me. I was bullied at school..and he made the hurt go away. My best friend..." She laughed slightly..sadly..."I bet it doesn't make sense. Why should I protect the home of the soldiers who took my best friend from me? Zenik gave his life for me and I would give my life for that forest....For all of its cruelty...It's such a beautiful place and I feel Zenik's spirit when I'm there..." She looked up at Ana and Kyo with warmer eyes. "I will train you. I will teach you everything I know. When I'm done with you both you'll hardly reckognise yourselves. But you must swear to me you will NEVER betray the secrets of Araino Woods to anyone. Not even your families."

Cloud didnt want him to know that the king had gotten ahold of her after he left despite his not cooperating. She wondered back toward her home without much of a word. Climbing up slowly she lay in the hamock despite the wounds on her back. It was the only way to sleep.

Ophiela soon found a large tree to rest in for a while and jumped up the limbs till she found a place she could easily spot anyone coming near her.

Kyo nodded. "Maybe he knew his fate and he pasted his duity onto you; to protect the forest."----------------- Ryuu got to the tree and climbed up. He sat on a branch near her hamock and watched the ground. Tonight he wouldn't sleep, he couldn't. Soldeirs were looking for them and he wanted Cloud to be protected. Ryuu yawned and shifted himself so he was more comfy.
