Kai smirked back at the thought of the blue-haired girl battling Spencer. That would be a sight. But then, he probably wouldn't be watching.
"Yeah, I've been put on a team all right," he said in reply to Tala's question. "In fact, I've been picked as captain for Team 4. And you?"
Kai walked over to the opposite side of the stadium, which Spencer had just vacated, taking out his blade and launcher as he did so. It had been a long time since the two had battled each other, and he wondered what tricks the Russian had up his sleeve. With a click, the crimson-eyed teen attached his trusty Dranzer MS to his launcher and waited, for the redhead's reply and the signal that would start the match.
((I'll have to check what blade Kai had at the end of G-Rev, then edit this post accordingly. Just so you guys know, they're only 14 at the very most in that season, so it fits in the age group specified in the first post...))

Spencer lined up at the other dish with Maria. "Tala's wrong, I won't go easy on you." He was smiling, as he stood at the ready with Seaborg.
Tala let out a light laugh. He should have known Kai would end up being the captain of another team. "I'm captain of Team 1, which you would have known if you didn't show up late." It's not that he was mad about Kai missing that stupid fight about how many girls should be on a team. He just like bugging Kai about how he never seems to notice what time it is.
The Russian re-adjusted his beyblade onto his gun shaped launcher. Wolborg had been with him through a lot. It was a miracle that he still had Wolborg after that match with Garland. Oh how those memories still haunted him. He never wanted to loose like that again. The hospital wasn't exactly his 'happy' place. "3, 2, 1...Let it Rip!" With a swift movement, Tala unleashed Wolborg into the stadium.
{Does Tala have Wolborg 4 or Wolborg MS at this time?}

Kenny was excited at his team as he was going to be team mates with Ming-ming, but he was kind of nervous being voted as a team leader. He knew about mechanics but not about being a leader. True he had been training hard but still believed that he wasn't good enough. She saw the blue haired girl come twice. He had heard of Maria Sayka since she was always with Ming-ming. She was like a mushroom who sprouted but immediately turned to a star. He was confused if he should follow the other teams and meet with his members, but Ming-ming, Spencer and Maria have already left. With a his abilities he doubted if anyone will follow him especially Spencer who is one of the former Neo-borg.
Mao was a bit excited being in a team with 3 girls in it. She was a bit disappointed not being in the same Team as Rei.
Maria signed she somehow knew she would get rejected , using a name Yuri doesn't prefer and the fact that she is new to the tournament. She then moved to Spencer and took off the winter gloves she had prepared for Yuri.
As Kai came into the room she was actually delighted. Training in the room with Kai. She wanted to watch the 2 fight but she wouldn't have Spencer waiting. She then stood also ready to battle with her beyblade in hand.
She then answered him with a smile," You'd be doing me a favor. Give me all you got. 3....."

((I believe Tala has Wolborg 4; in the anime, the MS series was created for the members of Team BBA, and for some strange reason, Kai's Dranzer was included even though he was technically part of BEGA that time...))
As soon as the words "3...2...1...Let it rip!" left Tala's mouth, Kai brought his arms swinging downwards from a point above his head, yanking on the ripcord when they formed a 45-degree angle with his torsa. As he pulled, he also tilted the launcher a little.
The Dranzer MS came shooting out and landed squarely on one slope, with barely a wobble despite the angle at which it came down. Then it swooped downwards towards the silvery blade that was Tala's.
"I don't know about you, Tala, but at least I was late because of training," Kai said, continuing the conversation from earlier. True, he often forgot the time, but that was because he was so caught up in training himself and his blade that time seemed irrelevant and so, could be forgotten.
He was, in truth, itching to show off his new attack, but he knew that he couldn't since he and Tala were on opposing teams. And showing a potential opponent your new 'secret weapon' would put you at an advantage. True, it might have ended the battle pretty early, but then, where was the fun in that?

As Brooklyn made his meandering way down the maze of corridors and hallways, searching for the nearest exit, he was distracted by whirring and whacking sounds of a Beybattle.
What's going on? he wondered, approaching the door from behind which he'd heard the sounds. Pushing the door open just enough for him to take a peek, he spotted Kai - his now-captain - battling the redhead who'd had the argument about the number of girls on a team.
"Hmm...battling already?" he muttered, his gaze fixed on Kai. The flame-headed teen still hadn't fully recovered from his first loss at the hands of the phoenix wielder; the sounds of battle caused the images from that day to flash through his mind once again, threatening to overpower him. Sensing this, Brooklyn quickly shut the door. He couldn't afford to battle his captain just yet, not while the team hadn't officially started training; it wouldn't bode well with the others, who knew what had happened between the two bladers.
He took a deep breath and continued on his way. He really needed that walk now.
((Can't think of something for Mariam and Robert to do... sweatdrop But now we're talking! A Beybattle! *cheers* This is where my experience as a tournament champion comes in, not that I'm bragging; just stating stuff...))

((OOC://Uh...goddessanime-san, there is no such thing as counter-attacking when your opponent didn't attack you yet. It's common sense; you said that Maria hadn't waited for Spencer when she launched, so that means either Seaborg isn't in the dish yet and you can't attack, or it's in the dish and you made the first move. And I don't think auto-hitting is allowed...//:OOC))

Personally, I'd love to have another person to RP with, but I didn't create this thread; approval of RP-ers falls to the moderator of that particular RP. So...I suggest you PM her, in the meanwhile, deleting your post. I'll be deleting this, too, once there's no more need for it. 3nodding ))

{Sorry my grandmother came to visit, so my post is taking longer than expected}
Tala pulled his arm back and released his Wolborg 4 into the stadium. It landed perfectly in the center, ready for battle. Kai's blade was already coming in for a direct attack. "Heh, well let's see if your training paid off!" Wolbord shifted to the right so that Dranzer went right past it. Tala knew that Kai had an offensive blade and that his own blade was an endurance. His strategy? To wait Kai out... "So far I'm not seeing any improvements." The red head knew ticking Kai off would only get him in trouble. But there were only few times when he could ever say anything to offend him. So he seized this rare opprotunity to try and push Kai's buttons. Which was easier said than done.

Spencer attatched Seaborg to his gun-like launcher, and prepared himself. "2...." He replied back, waiting for Maria to say one. Then the real battle would begin. The Russian assumed she was just a beginner. Someone who needed to be put into place. And he was just the one to do it. Tala would be to merciless on her, and probably trash up her blade. Spencer wasn't planning to take it that far, but he wasn't going to go easier on her either.

((@ dragonime: I'm assuming he got a new one of the same model, courtesy of Kenny, because if he hadn't how would he battle Tyson at the end of the last episode? Icey~x~Tala: all of Kai's beyblades are actually of the combination type, meaning it's fairly balanced. I researched.))
Kai only smirked as his blade circled back around to meet Tala's. The redheaded Russian probably assumed it would be a direct attack. And Kai knew Tala was just trying to tick him off...and he was succeeding, if only a little.
But no. Kai wouldn't allow himself to give in to the anger and lose control. If he did, he'd most definitely lose the battle, too.
"Look who's talking," Kai retorted. He'd seen this particular movement pattern of Wolborg's before. Of course, it could have been a trap to lure him in - or wear him out. Not gonna happen, Ivanov... Kai thought, eyeing the two blades, one silver, one blue. The Dranzer MS went around the stadium once, twice; smooth, circular movements that could have lulled one to sleep if one hadn't been so intent on the battle and who would emerge the victor.
The slate-haired teen's eyes narrowed. Was the Wolborg... yes, yes it was.
"Ikke~i, Dranzer!" Kai gave the command, and the Dranzer MS, which had been circling the upper third of the stadium's slope, shot forwards and down towards the mostly stationary Wolborg 4.
Any moment now...
(( sweatdrop Can't think of anything for the rest of Team 4, seeing as I've 'removed' them from the scene... Take note: Dranzer's movements have been observed from actual battles wherein none other than myself have participated.I'm not joking. I swear...))

"1.. Go shoot" Maria said releasing her blade with her shuriken. Maybe she should go with Spencer first she though though she can preety much handle Yuri but would greater consequence on her body. No body yet knew her real power as it was both a weakness and a strength , and there will be more talk about her that she would not like to happen.

((Sorry it's taken me so long by the way I'm not Rei any more.)
Mr. D motioned for Kioshi to move closer he then whispered what he was going to tell her in her ear so she could leave.
Kioshi then left the room feeling quite relieved. Emily followed behind her hoping to get to know her team mate better.
(Wait a second wasn't I Johnny? Oh well you can keep him if you want.)
Max was bored he hated having to stay in a stuffy room and sit still for so long.
(I'm actually grounding myself for a while too.... )
