The Shadow jumped when the flaming tornedo appeared from nowhere.
Xitha's work, thought Lux. She took advantage of the Shadow's surprise by stomping on his instep and ducking out of the sword's way.
Lux drew her own sword, a curved sabre, and whipped her blade at her captor, slashing at his face and arms.

Swearing, the Shadow evaded most of Lux' slashes but took a blow to his right arm. He felt the blade slice into his flesh with first a burning pain then a numbness. Knowing his right arm was of no use, he switched to his left as his parried Lux' blade.
After blocking Lux' next slash the Shadow leapt into the air, bringing his sword down in a wicked arc.

The blade was knocked aside by a thrown dagger.
Tochi appeared inthe path of the ninja and tackled him

Lux managed to jump out of the way, watching in surprise as Tochi flew by her.
Lux swore and rolled, managing to avoid the tumbling bodies.

The Shadow snarled and rolled with Tochi until he was on top, pinning Tochi's head down with his arm. Fighting the pain in his right arm, the Shadow grabbed a dagger, prepared to cut Tochi's throat.

Tochi put his leg on the shadow's chest and pushed off. the shadow was thrown off and tackled again, this time Tochi landed on top. Tochi pounded on The shadow's head until he was knocked out. He spit on him. "You talk too much."

By this time Xitha had rushed to Tochi and the unconscious Shadow, ready to shackle his ankles if necessary.
She looked over at Lux. "Are you alright?"

Lux jumped to her feet, dusting herself off as she approached the other two.
"I'm fine. How's the b*****d?" she asked, examing the Shadow lying prone on the ground.

Xitha turned toward the whirling fire-tornado. She held her hands out and banished the blazing inferno, then turned back to the other two.

Xitha looked at the shadow.
"Bleeding profusely and rather unconscious, it appears," Xitha said dispassionately.

Tochi pushed up the ninja and put his wire around the neck. He reached into his pouch and pulled out two needles and a cloth, he put the cloth ofer the ninja's mouth and nose. He woke up.
"Guess what, you get to tell us everything you know"

Lux drew her daggers and sat on her heels next to Tochi, eyes glaring pure hatred at the man who had tried to take her life.
"I know why Dalorian's after I blood. I killed his cousin not too long ago for an employer of mine, Mr. Ambrose Calcutta. He actually sent an assassin after me yesterday, but Shinta helped me out with that. I want to know what connections Dalorian has to the Shadows and why he went to them to take me out," Lux said, daggers poised to strike if need be.
