I like them both, however, I prefer Genbu Kaiden more. I wish it would be made into an anime.

Both series are great and follow the same sort of theme, so it is hard to decide. Right now, I want to say Genbu Kaiden because it is new and has one of the best female leads in a Watase manga ever, but it will probably turn out to be a better manga because Watase will have a more experienced approach to the FY theme. Sorry for the run on!

Honestly, I really love them both xD..but I'll admit, I'm liking Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden more than FY. This time around, Takiko's story is more mature and dramatic than that of Miaka's, which had some drama, but a lot of fluff and comedy elements, mostly with Tasuki & Nuriko somewhere in the mix (which isn't bad at all XD). I dunno..I just think Genbu Kaiden is more interesting..but all in all they're both great stories! whee

I like both but I think I like FY a little bit more. I just started Genbu Kaiden so thats probably why I like FY a little bit more.

I personally like genbu kaiden a lot better than FY mysterious play. Miaka was so .... frustrating! Takiko is more mature and able to control her feelings as much as she possibily can. Miaka just lets her emotions control the best of her. But who knows, im only on genbu kaiden 5 since 6 wont come out till feb/08. I'll reply again once i get more of genbu kaiden. but at this moment .... genbu kaiden all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
