Aphrodite was oblivious to the glare that Kuoni gave her. She chuckled at Tilly and how she practically said everything in one breath.

Kuoni smiled widely, happy that Tilly's first reaction wasn't to be mad at her. "Tilly! Come on!" She yipped, finally getting the excited female off of her. "Tilly, I-" And she stopped. What was she going to say? She still wasn't sure what she was going to do yet...
Tilly laughed barked and jumped in a circle. "I'm so glad you're back Kuoni! Things haven't been the same without you." Her eyes saddened suddenly. "Enigma's not the same without you. And I hear Fiorenza isn't either." She said in a reserved voice. She looked up at the anthro, whom she hadn't noticed until just then. "You're with Fiorenza's pack, aren't you." She said with a slight tilt of her head.

Aphrodite smiled when Kuoni started to get excited. She looked in the direction of Tilly's voice and nodded. "Yeah Fiorenza is part of my pack." She said noting the Tilly's voice when she spoke of Fiorenza, "May I ask? Who are you? You smell familiar but I can't place you."

Kuoni looked away. So daddy apparently wasn't doing well either. Sounds a bit better than Fiorenza though. She inclined her head toward Aphrodite, though she kept her eyes away. "This is Aphrodite. She helped me come here."
Tilly nodded in understanding. "I see. Who am I? Tilly. Um, I think you might have been there when Enigma went to tell Fiorenza about running off." She looked at Kuoni and grinned. "And now you're back! This is so great!" Even in all her excitement, Tilly noticed an odd statement in Kuoni's words. 'Come here??' She sat down and frowned slightly. "Don't you mean she helped you come home?" She gasped at the flinch of responce from Kuoni. "What! You're not staying?!"

Aphrodite nodded at Tilly. "Yeah I think that's where I caught your scent, Tilly." She said sighing. She was just going to sit this one out and let these two work things out. "Is there anywhere I can sit? I have a feeling this could take a while."

Kuoni bit her lip. She was going to hurt Tilly again...
"Take four steps to your left. It's Corny's bed." She said softly to Aphrodite.
She nibbled her lip a moment longer until hearing a frusterated huff from Tilly. "I'm only here until my pups are old enough to be raised in the woods safely by me."
Tilly tapped her paw impatiently on the floor. Kuoni wasn't staying?! She better have a good excuse for this- "...what..." She stared for a few seconds. "WHAT?! You're having PUPPIES?!?!?!" She jumped up and circled Kuoni, trying to see her belly. "When did this happen? How many? When are they due? Who on earth's the dad?! He better be good to them. Does he live here? Who's the dad?!"

Aphrodite nodded and took four steps to the left. She then felt and sure enough there was a bed. She sat down on it and listened to them. She chuckled at Tilly's reaction to Kuoni being pregnant. She then looked at Kuoni and tilted her head as she remembered something. "Just don't forget the rule."

Kuoni reactivly first tried to hide her belly, then relaxed enough to lean forward for Tilly to see. How many? Due? Dad? Which should she answer first? "I don't know." She said, basicly answering all the questions except for two.
She looked over at Aphrodite and tilted her head. "Eh?"
Tilly leaned down and sniffed Kuoni's belly. "I can't wait till they're born. They're going to be so cute! I bet-" She groaned. "You Don't Know?? Kuoni!" She whined. Her ears perked up. "What rule?" She asked, looking between her friend and the anthro.

Aphrodite sighed as the other two females asked what she meant. "You guys haven't dealt with someone who had kids?" She asked shaking her head, "I would expect you to know Kuoni since this rule affected your own parents. Why do you think your sister isn't with them but with some other owner?" She paused scratching an ear. "It's because of the rule. The owner of this house and shop set it up and our owners have to follow it." She explained, "The rule is that whenever a wolf is pregnant she must give one of her pups up to the shop so someone else can take care of it."

Kuoni sighed and nodded slowly. "Yes. I know the rule." After Tilly reacted, Kuoni started laughing. She laughed harder and harder, her nervous energy and fear being released through the laugh. It was a mear cup of relief in the lake of stress, but relief none the less. It felt good.
Tilly frowned at Aphrodite. "Huh? Well that's a bunch of poo!" She turned to Kuoni with a confused expression. "What?"

"I figured you did but I thought I'd just make sure." Aphrodite said shaking her head. She closed her eyes growing weary.

Tilly shook her head. "Kuoni! Answer my questions! Wait- don't. We should get you to Enigma and Fiorenza. Then you won't have to repeat yourself." She nodded, proud that she had thought up an easier way.
Kuoni had started to calm herself when Tilly brought up her parents. Her breath caught. "Tilly, I only came to peek in. I didn't intend..." What was it? "...to speak to anyone. Just wanted to make sure he was okay."

Aphrodite turned her head in Tilly's direction. "I've been trying to get her to at least say hi to Enigma and Fiorenza just so they know that she's alright but she keeps refusing." She said sighing, "And I don't think she's going to say who the dad is..... although I am curious about that."

Tilly's eyes narrowed with hurt. "'Anyone.' That incuded me, didn't it." She flipped her ears back. "You were going to come back and leave and not say anything to me. Nothing. I thought we were friends Kuoni." She sniffled and ran over to the bed, hopping up and curling into a ball behind Aphrodite.
Kuoni clenched her jaw. "I'm trying to keep it easy for everyone. I'm just going to be leaving again anyway. And the pup's dad is nobodies business but his and my own." Her head snapped up when Tilly spoke. "Oh! Don't take it that way Tilly!" She said, a bit harsher than she had intended. Tilly had always been emotional. Kuoni didn't need emotional right now. Was already on edge. Watching Tilly hide her tears only made Kuoni feel worse.

Aphrodite sighed again and reached back to pet Tilly. "Don't worry if I hadn't accidentally stumbled into her I wouldn't have found her." She said trying to soothe Tilly before turning to Kuoni, "Yeah you never seeing us again would be way better than coming to see us and letting us all know that you're alright before leaving again." Her voice was filled with sarcasm. "You obviously don't know any of us Kuoni. We would have respected your wishes to leave again. All that matters to us including your parents is your safety. As long as we knew you were safe we would have let you go no matter how hard it it'll be." With that she stood and marched out the door. She didn't go far before she stopped and slumped down to the floor, her back against the wall.
((Wow it takes quite a bit for Aphrodite to blow up like that.))
