Sephiroth heard the stones hit the water and he turned around. An energy ball was in his hand and pointed at the person before he realized that it was a person who resided here.
"You have to be more careful. Next time you may not look before you complete your reaction." He muttered to himself. He shook his hand a couple of times and the energy slowly thinned into nothingness. He turned around and then tucked his sword back into it holder on his belt. Sephiroth sat down and watched the stones hit the water then sink. He gave a smile remembering a game he used to play as a child.

((nah, dont worry about it. We haven't rped in that thread in...well months probably.))
Aideki continued to skip rocks across the pond, throwing them as hard as she could. Many, however, didn't skip and hit the surface hard, making a big splash and immidiately sinking down. After she ran out of rocks, she stood there silently over looking the lake, small ripples running to the shore and lapping at the sand.
It had been such a long time....

After the ripples had died down a bit, Aideki eventually drifted off and away, disappearing to some other part of the Pagoda.

Tochi walked up to the girl nder the tree. He placed his hand on her cheek and wiped away a tear. "I won't pretend to know what you are going through, and I may not be able to help. But I can hold you when you cry." He sat down next to her and put his arm around her shoulder.

*In the distance, a dark shape wings closer, revealing Mariana. She skims over the lake, hurtling recklessly around. Her tears dry and she begins to think.*Why? I know nothing about my blood. How can this happen? No one's left in my family to explain...What's happening to me?

Travis teleported To the lake. and looked around for Tochi. He saw Takara sitting by the tree and sat next to her. "Was Tochi here?"

Travis thought back on the times he had been hunted by the very people he had watched grow up. He was there when they were born, and he was forced to kill them.

Travis nodded as she left. Pooki apeared next to him. You just gonna let her walk off? Tochi told you to look after her. Travis looked down at the white kitten. "I suppose you're right, now go away." He got up and followed her.

Aideki left the pagoda, coming out to the lakeside where she began to pace back and force quickly along the shore.
"I don't understand, why are you haunting me so, I mean, is it really that fun for you? Of course it is, you're evil. There's nothing in the world that you enjoy more than torturing someone, right?" Aideki had been saying, her words flying out of her mouth at a hundred miles an hour as her pacing increased and her arms flailed around: gesturing, touching her forhead, crossing, hanging at her sides, touching her chin, rubbingher eyes, disappering into her pockets, coming out again to gesture some more.
"I mean, you can't leave even if you wanted to. YOu'll just be there forever and ever. What happens when I die? Are you still going ot be stuck to me? E sayh, ev dryd fuimt net oui uv sa, E't gemm socamv nekrd rana yht huf, pid drah fryd ev E tuh'd sayd Fynn eh dra yvdan meva?" Adeki broke out in elvish, her words flying out just as fast and ferocious, "Ev ra'c hud drana eh dra yvdanmeva, drah dryd sicd sayh dryd ra'c cdemm ymeja rana? Nekrd?....Nekrd?....nekrd...."
Her pacing slowed, then stopped, and she was soon staring at the placid lake's surface with wide, deep in thought eyes, "Would I be happy knowing that?.... What if there's...some place else...." her words died on her lips and her brow furrowed inward with sudden anger.

Sunlight shone vividly off red hair as Shinta materialized on the sandy road that led around the lake and through the surrounding woods. He ambled along slowly for a few minutes, then perched himself atop a granite outcroppping with his sword resting comfortably on his shoulder.
Sighing, he thoughtfully picked up a smooth round stone and threw it across the water. It skipped twice before sinking.
Stop it Shinta. Natsuko said. Just stop it now. It wasn't your fault!
