> Haibane Renmei is a short anime (13 episodes). Lots of the stuff in the anime is symbolic and philosophical. It is about Haibane -angelic like beings who are born in a cocoon, with their only memory of being a dream (this is also how they get their name). The main character is Rakka. There is so much to explain, that I'd recommend searching for it in google and watching it yourself, so I don't spoil it for you.
