: biggrin ay 217 ~ 22 December::A soft knock echoed the room of Valora, which her and her feiens were fast asleep. After a few moments of no waking up, the knocn returned, more loud this time. Valora grunted at the nusance, but reluctantly answered the door.
'So sorry Miss.' Hector appologized once the door opened. 'A package had arrived for you. And as I have quite a bit to do today, I thought it best to deliver it now.' He bowed, holding the gifts and letters out for her to take.
Valora took them curiously. 'Thank you Hector.' Closing the door to returned to her bed examining the gifts. Opening the note addressed to herself, it read:The First Note Hey Val,
Been a bit since we had a good chatter, so I figured I'd send something quaint your way in lieu of the Christmas Season. I hope everything's going well for you on your side of the world, and maybe we can hang out sometime soon eh?
We've got a new addition to our little home, so we'll see what happens. Take care and Merry Christmas...
--Nerpin Valora smiled and looked at the gift in her hand.

'How thoughtful.' She spoke to herself. Noticing the other package was for one of her feiens, she called out to it. 'Xaria! Come you have a gift.'
As usual, Shux did not like to be awoken by others. But interest in the gift convinced her to leave her bed. 'From who?' she muttered through a yawn.
'You can see for yourself, eh?'
Shux gave a sideways glace to her owner and opened her note. The Second Note Shux,
I hope your winter has been as wonderful as mine has been, being the first one I've seen. I miss ya and hope we can get together soon - I've got quite a bit to say since the last time we met, and it'd be great to see ya again.
Hope your Christmas is going well,
Love, Arith. 'Oh look. A gift from your girlfriend. HAHAHHAHHHA' Rislin laughed while reading over Shux' shoulder. She had been awoken as well as Semella from Valora's calls. Grabbing the gift, Rislin bounced around seeing of Shux would chase her.
Unfortunatly for her, Semella had taken the gift herself and returned it to it's proper owner. 'Rislin, behaviour, please. Here Hisa. Very sweet thought of Arith to give you a gift.' The anicent gave her juvenile flatmate a disappointed look as she passed her to sit down.
Rislin only rolled her eyes in return. All her fun had to be stopped. This place was slowly becoming unbearable.

::: biggrin ay 223 ~ 28 December::Rislin began her journey at 10:30 pm of the evening Hayden had requested. She had never been to the archery range, or even knew the manor had one. Luckily for her, Vincent had relayed the directions to her so she would not get lost. She had feared he would not be helpful for upsetting Lori, but he assured the young feien that Lori had to learn that, contrary to her belief, the world did not, in fact, revolve around her.
A few minutes after the hour, the small feien arrived where her directions lead her, but she did not see Hayden nor any targets. Her small ebony eyes scanned the field for any sign of life. Well, maybe life is the incorrect term to use.
'I can't believe he tricked me like this.' Rislin whine to herself. Slowly lowering herself back to the wet grass below, she thought about heading back. But then she would have to face her flat mates and Lori. Would they harass her for information that she did not know?
Once still, the time feien began to hear a faint thud noise from somewhere to her right. The flapping of her feathered wings had blocked the sound from her ears.
She flew once more to see if the sounds would lead her to Hayden. Rounding the corner, an arrow whizzed passed only one inch from in front of her.
'Ah, Rislin. How kind of you to join me. Don't worry. My aim is quite well.' The calm, smooth voice of Hayden sounded from the direction the arrow came from.
The young feien turned her head to see if she could find Hayden, but she could only see the outline of him.
He began to walk towards her, looking at his watch. '10 minutes late. I began to worry. But then again, I expected you to be alone.' he chuckled, bow hanging from his arm.
'I am alone.' Rislin projected her voice.
'There is no need to raise your voice. I can hear quite well. Vampire and all. One of the few benefits of being as such.' The male stared at the corner of the shed.
'Forgive me, I did not know.' She too curiously looked at the corner, wondering what intrigued Hayden so.
'Come out if you will. There is no need to be frightened.' He called.
Rislin continued watching as Shux and Semella had reviled themselves from their hiding. Glaring slightly, the time feien began to growl to herself. 'I can't go anywhere by myself, can I? Why am I not allowed privacy?'
Hayden raised a hand to the small feien, signaling her to stop her rant. 'Curiosity and caring are two common traits many being have in the world. It's using them wisely which keeps you out of trouble.' Flashing a charming smile to the two feiens, he continued: 'I believe you two belong to my sister. Who is who?'
Shux moved to speak introductions, but found she was at loss of words. Her small lips moved, but no sound emerged.
Stepping forward, Semella gave their names. 'I am Semella. This here is Shux. We have been wishing to meet you for some time now.'
'Then why did you not seek me, like young Rislin here?'
'Rizzy did not have permission to venture out on her own, sir. She is too small to look after herself.' The ancient stated as if he should have known this.
Hayden took his bow from his shoulder, held it within his hand as it vanished from sight. 'She appears capable of handling her matters. I have faith in her future to be a strong being. Now.. I expect you three would wish to return inside. I am sure the winter air is not pleasant.' He paused waiting for their answer. Shux only blushed a violent shade of scarlet matching her eyes perfectly.
'Yes please. It feels as if it might snow.' Rislin shivered, rubbing her arms for warmth.
Hayden nodded. He casually waved his hands in front of the feiens and they too disappeared like his bow. And with a small wisp, the vampire was out of sight as well.

: biggrin ay 226 ~ 31 December::The three Riddle feiens had spent the past few days with Hayden in his room, which of course none of them could find any complaints with. The room was filled with multiple odd and end items, ranging from toys to supplies to weapons. They all found the room exciting and fascinating. Currently the three feiens had found the Lego sets.
'You know, we could probably use these as out walls for the Labyrinth.' Shux suggested to Semella.
'We'd need a lot of them, but I think it could work.' the ancient pushed a 2x2 blue piece onto the wall they were building.
Rislin was observing a plastic brick, rubbing her hand over the bumps. 'You could shave off these bumps. Would work for shelves.'
'Hmm,' Shux thought on this. It would be difficult trying to find a way to attach shelving to plastic.
'But do you really want yellow walls. I mean, it would be a bit bright.' Rislin pointed out. But then again, she wouldn't be the one living there since she had taken residence in the grandfather clock.
'We could persuade Lori to get us more of the colours we would like. Probably wouldn't be too hard considering people make human sized models out of Legos.' Semella continued snapping more block into place.
'The challenge would be doors and how to keep fresh air flowing through. Sure these plastic windows could do some good, but the doorswe aren't one inch tall.' the darkness feien laughed at the thought of squishing through a Lego door.
'Perhaps a curtain. Won't be good for slamming, but it could do.' Suggest Rislin. She twisted a block in her hands, seeing how fast she could make it turn without dropping it.
'Possibly. Would have to consider that one.' Shux responded. She peered over her shoulder at the bed to see if Hayden was still resting. Still having trouble fathering words around the vampires, she merely mumbles and stared at her hands.
This amused Rislin to no end. First torturing her for liking Arith, now a crush on a vampire over 10 times here size. The fun never seemed dot end with it came to Shux.

: biggrin ay 236 ~ 10 January::Shux' Journal Rislin knows something. She's always laughing about nothing whenever she gets near me. It's worrying me. Perhaps Lori has rubbed off on her. But instead of PMS like anger, hysterics are her thing. Should I be worried about her? Should I? Maybe not. I don't know.
It reminds me of something though. Where have I seem her act like this before?
Arith.
Rislin knew my crush on Arith before even I was able to realize it. With the way she acts, she should have been some psychic feien rather than time. What does this mean though?
Oh s**t!

: biggrin ay 245 ~ 19 January::Night had fallen and the vampires within the manor had begun awaking, moving about with their business. Most keep to themselves and their own activities. Therefore, Valora and her feiens had not seen all the inhabitants of the manor. Unsure if she really cared about what others did to pass the time, Valora spent most of her own with Tobey and Vincent, thus leaving her poor feiens to their own imaginations.
Today was not unlike any other day. Left to their own devices. But some good news. Hayden had dropped off a shipment of Lego blocks, most in white, grays and black upon Shux and Semella's request. With their finished basic floor plan, the three feiens began the first two rows under the bed to make sure they utilized the pace as best they could.
'No, the door was suppose to be on the other side.' Rislin lazily ordered Shux as she left space for a doorway. Dragged into his task, Rislin refused to do any grunt work. Shux and Semella convinced her to relay the plan, figuring any help was better than none.
They knew this task was to take a few weeks to complete, even months. They were well aware they did not have human strength or stamina to finish the project within one day. Also the fact that the shipment wouldn't complete half the plan anyway, so they would have to wait until Hayden could get more for them.
Shux attempted to pull up a block to correct her mistake, but since the blocks were new they stuck together. 'Sem, could you possibly help me get this block loose?'
The ancient nodded and grabbed hold of the gray plastic knobs. 'Ready? One...two...three.' They both jerked on three. The block moves a little, but another tug was needed. 'Okay. One...two...three.' At last the mistake was fixed.
'Now I need a 14 long of white to fill the gap.' Shux flew to the pile in search of the pieces she needed.
The juvenile restlessly made noise expressing her annoyance of the situation. One hour wasted already and I dent hardly made. Might as well attempt to suffocate myself. Following her thoughts, Rislin placed the plans over the face, blocking her nose and mouth. This worked, her air lines were cut. The supply within her lungs grew thin and any survivor reflexes to continue breathing were stopped by the paper. Eventually the poor thing passes out.
Semella frowned as she saw Rislin collapse on the ground. 'What is she doing?'
'Who knows.' Shux went to the time feien's side and removed the paper from her face. Placing a finger under her nose, Shux could feel the soft breath upon the finger. 'Still breathing.' Stroking the black and white sectioned hair, the darkness feien shook her head in disappointment. 'When will we ever understand the things you do'

: biggrin ay 248 ~ 22 January::Rislin laid in her bed, hands behind her black and white mopped hair. Boredom had consumed the feien with the rut her life hand got stuck into. Ebony eyes watched the pendulum swing above her. Hypnotizing it's rhythmic beat as her consciousness slipped away.
Her mind wandered through her imagination as the time feien slept.
She was standing in the center of Lori's room and movement had seemed to slow down. Perhaps her mind was playing tricks on her. She blinked, looking around to see what trouble she could possibly get herself into.
Shux and Semella were no where to be found. Something else then.
Lori was on her bed. Reading something. Her heels were kicked up because she was resting on her belly.
Curious about what the letter was about and who it came from, Rislin attempted to flu by her side. But her wings failed her. She reached behind her back to check what was wrong with them,. Nothing existed. As if she never had wings. How could this be?
Finished reading the note, Lori folded it up and placed it in her pocket. The vampires rolled off her bed and headed for the door. Rislin jumped in hopes of getting her bonded's attention while yelling, but no sound came out of her mouth. All she could do was watch Lori leave her behind. Sadness spread throughout the small feien along with confusion and a sense of loss.

: biggrin ay 248 ~ 22 January::Shux watched as Rislin sat shredding a sheet of paper into as many pieces as she could possibly manage. An off vibe resonated from the time feien. Not that keeping to herself was unusual, but she was quiet and never looked in any direction other than the task in front of her. The emotion upon the juvenile's face was nonexistent, blank and distant in it's appearance. Shux had never seen the young feien act so oddly. She was unsure if she welcomed this side of Rislin more than the loud, angry Rislin. Shux turned to Semella who was busy with their attempts to continuing their project of the Labyrinth.
'Do you know what is wrong with Rizzy?' the darkness feien picked up a Lego and continued working on her half. Today's row colour was gray on the fourth row.
Semella glanced up from where she was busy working. She had been working on fretting over Rislin or Shux less, so she had paid little attention in the alteration of the violet feien. 'She's as odd as you. If you make me think about it, I'll only get on her nerves. Which will then lead to yelling and back to not talking. I prefer to steer clear out of that route.' She reached behind her grabbing another Lego block to snap in.
Shux used her power to bring her Lego pieces to her. The entire pile was clear on the other side and this took less effort on movement. 'You're expecting me to believe you are not at all concerned at what is going on in that head of hers?'
Semella blinked at her questioner.
Please do not start this subject. I just don't...' she made a noise of discomfort and place another Lego upon the wall.
Watching Rislin with her scarlet eyes, Shux noted she still had not changed a bit from a few moments before.

: biggrin ay 255 ~ 29 January:: A darkness feien entered the shop curiously, after she had not returned in quite some time. Last had been in hopes of seeing Arith, but that did not occur and she doubted it would this time. However, this could be good since she was on a mission. Rislin had disappeared sometime mid-day yesterday and did not return. In worry the young juvenile might be in trouble, Semella had convinced Shux that they should go in search of her, because after all, she was still so small.
'How do we know that she's here? Honestly, she's getting on my last nerve.' Shux ranted more to herself. The time feien's behaviour counteracted her own feelings so often that she began to wonder if she should even keep contact with the young feien.
Semella frowned after following her companion into the shop. She was more sympathetic to Rislin's behaviour, even though she herself could not remember being a juvenile at all. With a clawed finger twisting a bit of violet hair she spoke: 'Hisa, you need to work out these issues you have with Rizzy. A rift in the household will only being more disasters later.' Patience heard talking, and turned. There was a few more feiens enterering the shop. Today was such a good day. One of the feiens looked familiar, but she coulnd't tell. She had meet Shux before, but never saw her aftr she had grown up. Patience turned and greeted the new people entering." Hello all. Nice Night we are having." Talon's yellow eyes crawled over the slight assortment of weaponry the shop had to offer. There were more rapiers just like the one he'd had in a variety of colors, bee stingers, pebbles, a spear...but none of them struck a chord in him....the spear seemed like a better bet than the rapier since it had much more room to grip it (and with his strange finger placement, that was a definite plus), but he imagined his lack of speed would make weilding it a clumsy operation at best.
He scooped up one of the pebbles from a box on the counter and hefted it in his palm a few times, testing its weight. He imagined he could likely throw one a great distance if he tried with the force he could put behind it. The problem with pebbles, though, was once you threw one, it was lost and you were left without a weapon.
Instead, he narrowed his eyes, his hand enveloping itself in a white glow as the pebble cupped in his palm began to sag and grow soft. Idly, he began to fashion the pebble into a conical point, much like the bee stingers, just to see if he was able.
Hearing a faint but rather noticeable jingling, he looked briefly over his shoulder at the newcomer and then back to the case again. No one he recognized.
In turning back, he entirely missed Semella and Shux's arrival.Ianios looked up from the bowl which in rested Leafy when he heard two new voices. More and more feien seemed to be heading in. He smirked. "Greetings!" he called out to all the newcomers. He looked them all over, trying to remember if he had met all of these. Honestly, he couldn't recall. Shux turned her attention to the feien who had greeted herself and Semella. The markings were familiar. 'Hello. Quite indeed a lovely evening.' The closer she walked to the feien, the more she realized where she had seen her. 'Patience?' She began laughing, considering the last time they had their incounter, Shux still had a fear of crowds.
Semella followed closely, but only smiled softly.Talon cringed a bit at Ian's shout of greetings and looked silently in his direction, lowering the white shroud his wings had been providing him. Something about the green feien stirred recognition in him but...for the life of him, he couldn't place it.
If he'd met him, it had been long ago, back when he was a child and used to frequent the shop much more. He...
And then it clicked. Oh yes....Ianios, often accompanied by Aria, the first two feien he'd ever met. Though, Ian had been a child last he'd seen him....which was forever ago.
He nodded in greeting to the blue-eyed feien and remained where he was. Merging had made him noticeably more polite in the presense of others, but it still hadn't done much for his social skillsThe other adult feien aprouching her was laughing, this confused Patience very much. She was trying to figure out who this was. Obviously she knew who she was. Then again Patience had not met many Feiens, so it didn't take to long to remember the darker feien." Shux? Is that you? You certainly have grown up. Nice to see you again, but why are you laughing?" Val saw Ian and smiled, waving her hand a bit. She hovered over to his place and stopped beside him. "Hello Ian. I have not seen you in a while. Of course I was in no position to see you as I was nowhere that you would be, but that is besides the point. How do you find yourself these days? Of course I meant in the sense of how you are feeling and the like.. not as if you would be missing....."
She paused when she realized she had babbled. She looked at the others and only noticed Semella whom she knew. "Hello Semella! We met once. Do you remember me?"The darkness feien's laughter had quieted down as she began to explain herself. 'Just memories really. I haven't been to the shop much since I was a youth.'
'Cause of me and Rizzy no doubt.' Semella interupted, but quieted herself after.
Shux frowned at the anicent for being inconsiderate. 'As I was saying...When I first met you, you were yelling your head off at Tosten, I believe for scaring the wits out of me. So much different now from then.' She sighed at the thoughts of it all. With a small grin, realization of her own rudeness sunk in. 'Oh, I must appologize. This is Semella. She is a flatmate of mine.'
Reaching a clawed hand to shake, the anicent spoke: 'Evening.'Ian waved to Talon, then smiled when he saw Val. " Hey Val! I'm doing great, yourself?" He smirked when her attention was taken by the anicent. That one was an interesting one. He looked to Leafy, smiling. "You'll get to enjoy this one day as well," he whispered, smiling, touching the leaf. A grin played slowly, as if crawling, across Patience face as she recalled the scene. The she too laughed." I see your point. It's good that your not so shy anymore. Meeting people is good. I actually met alot of feiens just today. It's been a good day. I first Met Hitomi, then Ian came along, we ran into a rather strange lady who was the new owner of one of Ian's breeding, Aparently a spikey bloom, And I also met the owner of the leaf bloom sitting here. Now you guys come in and there are more people to meet still. Today has been a busy but good day. I never meet so many Feien in one day.Patience said to Shux. She also took a bow towards Semella as a greeting." Hello, my name is Patience." She said it loud enough that even the feien on the high counter could hear her, but not loud to seem she was yelling. Just loud enough. As more feien arrived, Talon realized just how far out of the loop he'd been. Aside from Ian, he wasn't sure he recognized any of these feien...
Well, that's what he got for essentially living under a rock, wasn't it? He hesitated a moment more and then hovered toward the others. He clearly wasn't going to find what he was looking for here, and wasn't especially inclined to go home just yet.
Landing a short distance away from the throng of conversing feien, he stood by with intent to observe. It didn't occur to him that the one nearest to him was his long-ago declared mortal enemy. Then again, Shux hadn't been taller than him last he'd seen her either. Semella's ears twitched as she heard her name be called. She had not know many feiens herself, so she was curious to see which one of the few were in the shop. A juvenile had called her name. 'Hello.' she called in return to give time to place her.
Leaning into Shux she whispered. 'I think this is a friend of Rizzy's. Do you think she could know where Rizzy is?'
Shux quirked an eyebrow. 'Possible. Call he over.'
Val. That's her name. Like their owner. How could she not remember it sooner? The anicent waved at Val in hopes of enticing her over.Ian glanced over, seeing Talon land down where they were. He blinked, taking in his appearance. Seemed the dragonfeien had merged with a gemstone. He wondered if that would happen with him, if he had ever gotten a chance to merge with Cel's. But that wasn't meant to be. "Talon, come over and met the leaf Aria and I helped create." He didn't want Talonfaust to feel left out. Val turned back to Ian and tilted her head. She'd taken to making head movements so her earrings would jingle. Sort of like when someone started to play with a tongue ring when they got one. She had two earrings in one ear and only one in the other.
"I am well. In terms of health. Mentally I am the same as usual. That is what you wanted to know, correct? I never know how to respond. Not much exciting has happened. There is a new feien in my house with me so now I have a feien companion around like you do."Everyone but her had someone to talk to, so Patience wandered the counter a bit, looking at the items for a bit. She'll just wait for an oppertunity to make conversation. She didn't want to go home just yet. Not when there was this many Feiens here. But she didn't want to push herself on people. So she wandered a bit.Ian smiled at Val. "Yeah, that's what I wanted to know." He liked her, she was outgoing, spoke her mind. "Congrats on having another feien around! Come see the leaf. Aria and I helped bring this new one to life!" Boy...he was getting excited now! So many to show his kid off too!For a moment, Talon remained where he was as though he'd not heard Ian, and then moved forward. As he neared, he examined the blue black-edged leaf, cocking his head slightly. He supposed he shouldn't be offput...considering he and Tahki had made a mushroom, after all.
"Congratulations." he said quietly, nodding his head once. "It looks to take after Aria." He looked down at the now pencilpoint-shaped pebble clutched in his six-fingered hand and let it drop to the counter at his side, having lost interest in it. "You made it?" Val opened her mouth wide. "Interesting! feien reproduction! I have never seen a second generation bloom.. or leaf, rather." She looked over at Semella and Shux and waved them over. She didn't know Shux but since Semella was nice then her friend was probably fine as well.
The juvenile also looked up at Talon. "Hello sir. You are an adult. I am Valsharess, a juvenile. We have not met. It is a pleasure to meet you... though I do not derive any pleasure out of it personally, I am told that it is common courtesy to say so." She smiled. "Not to say that meeting you displeases me at all, I am rather neutral on the feeling." The green feien looked to Talon. Had the merging mellowed him out? It seemed too. Maybe he was uncomfortable with everyone about. "Thank you," he said, giving the other adult a small smile.
There were so many feien about now. Seeing Patience off alone, he waved her over. "Come on, come meet and greet!" Talon blinked, realizing the juvenile was addressing him and quirked a brow as she spoke. She sounded like an automated pre-recorded message like the ones he'd dealt with when trying to figure out how to work a calling card in Europe.
When she finished, he nodded to her, though the brow remained quirked in slight confusion. "Nice.....to meet you too." he said, sounding uncertain. Good gods, and he'd thought Irisa could get technical in normal conversation. "My name is Talonfaust."
It occurred to him that this was the most social he'd been in a long while, such as it was. He supposed taking a long nap and spending a good portion of the evening in Yeande's presense had had something to do with it. Hell, if smiling were habit for him, he'd be the happiest idiot of the bunch right now...instead, however, his face remained carefully blank and mellow.Patience looked up and saw Ian calling her over. Well, she could always meet people through someone, and Ian seemed to know the other adult and the younger feien there, so she might as well use him to meet them. Have him impose, rather then her do it herself. So she wandered over to Ian." Greet? I guess so. Hello. My name is Patience, nice to meet you." She gave a polight nod and bow to both Talon and Val.'Hmm...no go. We can go to her.' Semella whispered back at Shux.
'Then go we shall.' Shux strolled past the ancient and went to greet the juvenile properly. 'Hello. Forgive me. My companion here tells me that you are aqaintences with our Rizzy. Is this true?' Oddly straight to the point for Shux, but it seems she does not feel like pracing around the issue they were there for.
Semella gave a nervous laugh to herself as she watched Shux' forwardness. Perhaps she would have in to settle matters between her flatmates.Hitomi climbed in through an open window and peered out behind herself. She had now succesfully snuck out of the house for the first time. She had accidnetly awoken the Lunar Sprocket on her way out, but she had managed to lose it hopefully.
She turned to the shop to see if anyone was still here. Not only were Ian and Patience still here, but so were 4 others! She blinked a few times. She had never seen so many Feien in one place in so many times. For the first time in her life she didn't seem so eager to go over and start beign social. There were SO many. She frowned a bit before fluttering to a place that was just a bit closer.Valsharess's smile always remained the same, placid and calm. It was almost as if thats how her face always remained and was her natural expression instead of one to express pleasure.
"Talonfaust." She repeated it again and then said something under her breath. She did that a lot.
"You are an adult. I have never seen an adult like you." She hovered up a bit, her hands clasped behind her back again. "You are interesting to look at. I am told it is rude to stare and poke though. I used to do that when I was younger. I shall not subject you unless you approve." She hovered around him again and then lowered, "Green.. green.." she muttered pleasantly to herself as if it were no consequence to anyone else.
When Patience arrived and introduced herself, Val's expression remained unchanged. "Hello Patience. I am Valsharess. You both may call me Val if the nickname suits your tastes. I will not be one to assume what your tastes may be just from meeting you."
Of course in a moment her attention was pulled to the adult with Semella and she just looked at her and hovered. "Rizzy? I am not aware of who this Rizzy is.."
Valsharess looked to Semella, a tad puzzled, and then to Shux. "Unless of course that is a nickname for Rislin. But I have not seen her I am afraid. Have you lost her? Or has she lost herself? That would be a dreadful thing to lose yourself I think. You might be lost in the couch cushions and never even realize you were right under your own nose!"
Val is an odd one, if no one had yet noticed."Hello, Patience." Talon greeted. He really was not used to giving out this many greetings and could feel a distant throbbing in his temples that threatened to become a headache if he pushed it much more. For the moment, he ignored it. "My name is Talon."
He felt like a parrot, giving his name over and over again...he supposed it really wasn't any of their fault, though.Ian decided he's attempt to make conversion. "Did the merging hurt?" he asked Talon? He had a feeling it did, but Talon would know for sure. He did look interesting, with the oddly placed fingers. One would have to get use to that, he knew. And with the horns, well, the weight, if there was any, that would take some getting use too as well.Patience Nodded in responce to Val and made note of her name in her head. So amny people she met today. And now she was introduced to another adult. He certainly looked odd, but the mention of Merging made sense. She had seen one of the others who had melded, Yeande. She also made a nod to Talon, though he looked as if he was having a headache. With Shiro having a cronic mirane, Patience was well knowlages in the tel signs of when someone had one, or when was getting one. Her attention was distracted for a second when Hitomi had come back, she gave her a wave before Patience walked closer to Talon." Your head hurting you?" She said softly, in a kind and concerned voice. Though trying to keep it low enough to not have others notice her question.Shux smiled faintly at the juvenile. At least she knew the point she was headed for. 'Yes, forgive me. Rislin. She is a flatmate of mine and Semella. She has once again left without giving word of where she is headed. We worry for her safety.' But she grew confused about how to answer the rest of Val's statement.
Semella crossed her arms as Val spewed her response to Shux' questioning. 'I dount she had gotten lost within couch cushions. I have yet to find a couch in the manor, yet I cannot say I have been everywhere within it's walls. But perhaps we shall tell out owner to check them if she does not appear soon.'
Shux' attention however turned to an oddly familiar voice. Well more the name that was spoken. Talon. Another feien she had met once. Leaving Semella behind to talk to the young juvenile, she went to greet him. 'Well I never imagined this was how you were to turn out. But then again I never imagined to be stuck with two other feiens within my household.'Talon's head turned in Ian's direction and he nodded. "Yes. It hurt like nothing else." he informed the plant feien. "In fact, I can easily say its the worst physical pain I've ever felt in my life." Saying so, he arched his back a bit to pop it, his muscles rippling beneath his skin as he did so.
"But I won't lie to you, it was well-worth the pain." he added, straightening again. He'd no sooner finished talking to Ian than someone else was approaching him. He looked at the taller female with idle curiousity, wondering who she was for a moment before recognition dawned on him. The markings, the red eyes, the white hair.
"Shux." he said moreso to himself than to her. The long-buried childhood grudge instantly tried to rear its head and he impatiently swatted it down within him.
"You look to be doing well for yourself." he said, nodding once to her. "How long has it been? Half a year at least..."Val nodded at Semella and smiled a bit more. At least she didn't seem puzzled. Most usually were. or they lost interest.
"Oh yes. Couches are dangerous things for feien. I hear they devour small things and only give them back if you wrestle them into submission or if humans shove their appendages into the various orifices of the couch. Of course they do not breathe, I have cheked, so I am not sure if they are really alive." Val idly reached up and tugged on one of her own earrings.
"I do hope that Rislin was not devoured by a couch.. or at least has not lost herself. Even if we do not know where she is, I hope she knows where herself is otherwise she would be severely inconvenienced. If I see here I will let you know Semella. Well at least as best I can. I can't guarantee immediate response because the travelling from where I am to where you are will take time.. of course and I may need to do a few errands..." She grew silent a moment and thought about something, as if her ramble continued in her own head. "Yes." She smiled up at the ancient. "If I see her I will inform you as fast as I can."Aparently her question fell upon deaf ears as Shux aprouched. There was just something in the air that Patience was getting a vibe. AS much as she wanted to leave the two alone in their conversation, something told her otherwise. So she just watched.Ian nodded. Well, if he had Cel's gemstone, if he could not bring him back, he'd merge with it. As for pain....well, pain passed. "I daresay, you look wonderful. The smaller horns along side remind me of dragon horns." He wasn't sure if Talon still thought he was a dragon trapped in a feien body, but the those horns suited him. Rynn entered the shop, looking around. So many feien! She smiled, spying Ian talking to one she semi recognized. Walking closer, softly, she smiled. "Greetings, Talon. You have changed considerately. I admit, I like it." She tuned to Ian. "Ianios, it's late. Lets go home."Ianios nodded, then gestured to the bowl. "I think your friend forgot this." Inside was the leaf, just floating there. Rynn nodded, picking up the bowl. "We'll drop this off at his house, then head home."Ian turned back to Talon and Patience. "Goodnight." He waved to Val, Shux, and Semella. "Goodnight!" He flew up and landed in Rynn's jacket pocket, looking at her. "Remind me to get onto you about the blooms!" he was saying as she walked out.'Easily.' She agreed in a smooth tone. Idly running a finger over the back of her hand, she curiously looked over the odd marking that Talon had now taken. 'Do my ears decieve me in hearing that you have -merged- with a gem stone?' Her head slighly cocked, she grew interested in this subject. Although she doubted that Semella would agree to it at all. But for now including Semella into the converstation was out of the question.
But then again, Semella was being bombared by the juvenile she was currently speaking to. Lots of information wizzed passed her ears, so the ancient tried her best in answering the questions she did catch. 'Couches are furniture and can't possibly be alive. Well, at least I do not know any cases where such a thing has taken place. Not only would feiens have something to fear, but small pets and quite possibly humans as well. What would stop them from attacking anything that came their way? Still illogical if you ask me.'Talon watched Shux warily, the way a handler might watch a cobra that may or may not strike at any moment, but answered her question. "You heard correctly." he nodded. "And as I told Ianios, its a very painful process. But the results are permanent, and the power it grants is well worth going through it."
He crossed his arms over his chest as he spoke, seeming unaware he was even doing it as his wings fidgeted just slightly on his shoulders.Patience waved to Ian as he left and then resumed being close enough to hear what was being said between Talon and Shux. And do do somehting about it if anythign did happen. Plus she herself was curious about how gemstones worked. But she knew one thing, you could never breed if you did merge."Oh completely illogical." Val smiled. "I'm glad we agree."
Val had said nothing, in fact, to show she had a similar view as Semella but with her statement and the sure nod of her head, she knew and thought that they had agreed on something. Perhaps that she was illogical, not just her statement.
She waved to Ian as he left and as Rynn left with him she saw a familiar glint of glasses.
Halo stepped into the shop with a monochrome little boy propped on her hip and a bear-cat draped over her shoulder. The woman's spiked collar was being played with by the little boy who turned his attention on the room of colorful faeries silently.
"Val you ready?"
The juvenile nodded and hovered once again. "Farewell Semella.. My bond and her son are here to get me. Perhaps I will see you soon. I hope you find Rislin soon so that you won't worry about her anymore."
Halo was fixing the little boy's large tophat when Val settled on the brim of it. "Farewell all!" She waved to all those she had just met. "Have pleasant evenings spent in whatever fashion pleases each of you the most."
Halo rolled her eyes and just carried them all out the door.Patience offered a wave to Val as she left, then she turned her attention back to the two infront of her. Something was telling her to keep her eyes on them.'Quite fasinating. But morbid in way.' She paused, thinking of how to word her next question. She carefully placed a finger on her lip while her eyes floated upward and unfocused.
Semella waved as Val left. She was a curious character. It made sense that Rislin would be friends with such a feien. Val was much unlike Shux and herself.
Semella crossed the room to return to Shux' side. She noticed another feien also watching and decided that perhaps she could converse with this Patience feien. 'Hello again. What are they talking about?'
'Do have any memories of the feien who once was the gem stone?' Shux knew this to be a question Semella would be most interested in. Semella had spent so much time saddened by the fact she could not remember her past.Glad that someone else was there just in case something happened, Patience took comfort in Semella being there. So she took the opertunity to converse." From what I gather, Talon has been through the process of merging with a gemstone, which was once a feien. The process seems to hurt, but be worth it. And now Shux is wondering if any memories were retained in the merging. It's interesting, though I would like to breed once, so I have not considered gem merging." Semella's eyes grew fearful at the mentioning of gem merging. She had heard bits of such things happening in the feien world. Afterall, the one to resurrected herself had been merged as well. 'Memories.' she muttered to herself and spoke no more."No." Talon said, shaking his head. "Not that I've discovered, at any rate. Though Josephus seems to have lent me his patience and his pattern of reasoning."
And that voice of reason is goddamned annoying at times... He thought to himself, one long ear flicking again. "That, among more obvious things." he added, unfolding an arm to gesture briefly at the trio of horns adorning his head and the now obnoxiously-golden cowlick.'I did gather the horns would be from merging. I doubted such things grew randomly on feiens after emerging from bloom status.' Her voice still calm and mellow.
She had noticed that Semella had now been watching the conversation with Patience. Good oppoturnity for introductions. 'I ask such questions for good reason of course. This is one of my flatmates, Semella. She came to us resurrected from a gemstone. But that effect seem to not have any pain to her. Odd.'Well this was something Patience did not know. She had heard of feiens dying and become gems, and that one could merge with such gem, but she did not know that gems could be changed back into Feiens. That si why Semella seemed to be having a hard time with the conversation.Talon's eyes narrowed just slightly, but he said nothing in regard to her first statement. He looked past Shux to the purple feien she was indicating and nodded to her in acknowledgement.
"Perhaps that's because merging and resurrection are far from the same thing." he said quietly. "Resurrection, I would imagine, simply restores you to exactly how you were, and as such, wouldn't be a painful process." Patience turned to Shux as she recalled something." Well, If I remember correctly, after Aris bred, she grew a tail. So many it was possible to grow horns as well in result of a mutation after re-emerging from a bloom after breeding. Maybe a resessive gene took it's turn to surface when a feien came back out of bloom form. Maybe?" Patience tried to find a possible reason that horns might have appearec after a feien's intial blooming.'Perhaps.' Shux began. 'But there are still the similarities of the memories of the previous life being lost. I guess those details only lie in those who once knew them.' Shux' voice quieted as she continued with her sentence. Spending too much time around Semella has made her think of the process differently than she first had heard of it.
Once Patience had finished her observation, Shux smiled gently. 'That was something that was not to my attention. Then again, I have never met Ares.' Her head cocked slightly at her statement.
Semella still had nothing to say in fear that she might speak something she would later regret." I wonder how Ares is. I wonder how alot of Feien are, atleast the one's I met. It has been a great deal of time since I was last here. I have met to many today. But sadly I miss Tosten. He and his bond left Hurog a while ago and have no returned. I talked to my bond Shiro, but he doens't know anything either. And Oreg isn't saying anyhting if he does know. He's probably on an adventure, but some his pets seem to mill around Hurog, while others have just vanished." Patience sighed. She really needed another feien in the house to fill the gap Tosten left.Talon, again, looked to Semella and then back to Shux. "Has she not gone to see Julius?" he questioned. "The stone I merged with, he said was once a friend of his. It would not be farfetched to think that he once knew her and could possibly tell her more about herself."
The purple ancient had given no reason for him to believe that she was someone Julius may be offended by. Yeande had said before his first encounter with the prophecy feien that his main turnoffs were rudeness and meaningless chatter and as such, he'd always been careful to avoid both.Semella finally found her voice and spoke to Talon. 'I have not gone back to see Julius, although I had wished to. He is the one who named me and gave me the clothes I wear. These are the only things I have from my past. They are dear to me, however I do not fully understand why. I could not bring myself to wear them when I first emerged. I know that I must seek out Julius, but I do not believe that time is now.' The ancient had grown quiet again after her long spew. Her head lowered to the ground.
Shux crossed her arms and shifted her weight to one leg. This obviously was not a topic to interupt on since she had no experience in either matter other than observation.Patience also did not know much, so she just stood there, silent and seeing what might else happen that night. And who might end up speaking next. She didn't know who this Julius feien was, but she guessed he must have been a summoner as well.To this, Talon shrugged slightly. "The choice, of course, is yours." he told the purple ancient. "I had only wondered if you had tried." It seemed to him like an odd thing to get on the defensive over....if he had died and then had been brought back with no recollection of his former self, he would most certainly have tried to remedy the problem as quickly as possible.
Unless there were things that Semella was afraid of remembering, of course, which might have well been the case for all he knew.Shux cleared her throat. 'Sorry to interrupt, but we must find Rislin before she gets herself into more trouble than she might already be in. Talon.' She nodded her head in his direction. 'Patience.' Also nodding her head in the other feien's direction. After doing such, she headed towards the door.
Semella gave a sideways smile to both feiens. 'Lovely meeting you both. I hope to speak with both of you in the future again. Perhaps with better conversation.' As she too followed suit.
