Nightsong smiled brilliantly, "All of that can be arranged, and more if you wish." He chuckled softly, helping Chestnut stand even as he himself did. He paused breifly to glance at the fox-man's other companions. "I'll keep him safe, do not worry." He calmly told them, "Khorae and Drakian both know where to find me should the need arise." And with one last nod in their direction he led the skittish young man away. Again the crowd parted respectfully before him, Nightsong navigated the muddy streets as though they were empty, nodding greetings and smiling at people as he passed. In no time at all they had reached his 'establishment'. an elaborate sign gleamed in front of the tall building, untouched by rain or mud and illuminated with it's own soft magical light. The Sign Welcome, to A Little Taste of Heaven! The exterior was notably different than the surrounding buildings. like an old Mansion every pole and post was carved and crafted spiraling pillars decorated with leaves and flowers, to the staircase where the very stones made swirling patterns beneath one's feet. yet despite the detailed extravagance it was the very picture of comfort. of 'home', warm and inviting as the light glowed from the windows, and the mud refused to touch the building at all. Nightsong led Chestnut straight up the steps, and through the front door. Sure enough the mud on the bottoms of their feet was either gone or refused to dislodge on to the stone or carpet. Once inside they were greeted by a comely, bespectacled young woman with rich brown hair, she stood behind a small counter. a large book open before her as she carefully wrote in it with an eraserless pencil. Without looking up she called out kindly, "Do you have an appointment? Or are you just visiting?" "Oh just visiting... to be sure." Nightsong said with a chuckle. The young woman's head snapped up, "Nightsong! I didn't realize you had left!" setting her pencil down she straightened and smiled, "Need anything Night?""I would like you to help my freind here. He is in need of a bath, and some good clothing, after that a meal... a private one but set for two if you please." The woman nodded without missing a beat, "Alright, I can have the Bath prepared in 10 minutes... Lu is using the main one right now. Anything else?""No that will be plenty, thank you Susan." Nightsong smiled again and turned to Chestnut, "Would you care to wait in comfort?" He asked softly even as he led the fox-man past the reception counter and into a room off the side hallway. "This is one of our lounges." Sure enough as the door opened Chestnut was greeted with a room full of large cousions, pillows, couches, relaxing chairs, and off to one side, a counter, small fridge and drink machine. "Please make yourself comfortable... and do not worry about the furniture, it's been enchanted to repell dirt."

Khorae watched Nightsong remove the oddest of the group without much worry. "Drakian, take them to Steve's and bid for them there. I left Marri in charge and had better see if she's alright." She looked over to the 'rock star' and reached up, toying with a strand of his hair. "Perhaps...we have room for one..." She smiles a little, just the corners of her red mouth lifting.

Chestnut followed the strange man who had introduced himself as Nightsong docilely but still observant. He noted the twists and turns of the street and took in the details of the building as they walked in. He had the distinct feeling things were looking up as he crossed the threshold of the beautiful building. He did wonder why he felt such an absence of the blind terror that had categorized his existence for all of his memorable life, but decided he was better off without it.
Chestnut listed to the conversation between Nightsong and what he assumed was some sort of secretary attentively even as he let his eyes wander throughout the richly and comfortably furnished room. He followed Nightsong when beckoned and stepped into the side room. He liked very much what he saw the cushions and such looked eminently comfortable. He hardly even heard Nightsong's comment. He was surprised to realize he recognized a refrigeration device in the corner of the room. Chestnut looked to Nightsong warily for a moment before he wandered into the room, wondering what the man expected to him to do. He wanted to investigate the devices in the corner to see if his hunch was correct, but he didn't want to be seen doing it. As a result of these ruminations Chestnut plopped himself down on some cushions, which proved to be a mistake because until then he hadn't realized how exhausted his body was. Sleep overtook him rapidly. Despite his best efforts the fox-man was sound asleep, and strangely unafraid of the fact, within ten minutes.

Brian cringed as the shouts approached. He was eager to see this character of such great repute. He wondered what he, er perhaps she, the shouts weren't really indicative of gender, could look like. He still wasn't sure of the gender when the cries of the crowd ended and Nightsong apeared to the group. Brian waved slightly as the group was greeted. He just stared as the person took the furry man, and Brian's clothing, away.
Still staring Brian was startled as he felt a hand upon his hair. "Oh, I believe you just might. I really don't take up so much space, unless it's neccesary. But what shall I do to repay you?" He said smiling lightly as he turned his head to look at her.

"I'm sure we can think of something...inside. Perhaps upstairs?" Khorae tugged the end of his hair lightly and let go of it, beckoning him to follow her inside.

Brian followed after Khorae staring down at her feet as he walked. "Oh, yes I'm certain we can" he said dreamily. As Brian passed the threshold between the city and the brothel he was astounded by the change in atmosphere. Outside the air had been filled with the scent of the city and the sounds of thousands of people, inside it was replaced by candle light and incense.

Zakai-tan Koumouri stared weakly at the woman, not understanding. Still, she was injured and had very little choice but to allow her to do whatever it was she wished to do.
~ As long as it heals me and you aren't planning on selling or eating me, do as you wish.... ~ She said.
"Good it's settled then." She lay her hands on the dragon, pulsed a concentrated burst of energy and then slung the now inert form over her shoulder, then she bolted swiftly back to the others, dropped the dragon in Dyonisu's arms, shoved him toward's Eolo and dragged Misopan into the improvised huddle by the tail, before they really had a chance to register what was happening, they appeared quite suddenly amidst the hustle and bustle of the previously mentioned town of Parte`. Fortunately for them, Drakian was standing nearby and a piece of paper with a hastily scrawled message addressed to the man. Meanwhile, Tanya gave up on the subtle approached and dashed to Ermak's position, in full readiness to tackle the man if need be."What the he-..." He started, and could only make a disappointed sigh and cover his face with one hand. Tucking the note into his pants, he regarded the group who was just now beginning to collect themselves. "Sorry about all that, she tends to do things pretty awkwardly..." reaching out a hand, he introduced himself. "Lucky for you, I'm already placing some other offworlder's with a friend of mine, he should be able to set you guys up with contacts and maybe even a place to stay. Usually mages don't need much effort to find a niche though."

"What the hell is wrong with ...." Misopan began to snarl when he suddenly found himself dragged physically and then magically to another space. "That KIABRA-DAMMNED WENCH!!!" He continued gnashing his teeth as he pulled apart from the two bipeds he'd been force-teleported along with. This did well to keep any of the town residence from investigating him too closely. Snorting, he turned to regard Eolo, Dyonisu and the small dragon, then to the surrounding group they'd teleported into the center of. Flicking an ear as Drakian spoke, the Beast of Hate turned his head, and for a few moments, contented himself to simply glaring a hole through the man. "Oh great, it's you. Lucky indeed." He said gruffly before returning to his human form out of convenience.
"Wha-" Dyonisu stammered as a small unconscious dragon was forced into his arms, Tanya did not seem to be paying attention to his attempt at conversation and he went without resistance with her urging forward, hoping that then she would be able to speak to him. Instead, he was directed to standing uncomfortably close to the newcomer Eolo, and then Misopan was dragged between them and the group found themselves in a further crush of people. Dyonisu adjusted his hold on the small dragon he carried and looked around weakly for some sign of support. In truth crowds bothered him quite substantially, and he felt extremely uncomfortable at being exposed to this many strangers at once. He looked up to where Misopan had just changed shape and then paused as his gaze alighted on Drakian. "GR-!" He stopped his gleeful call and bit down on his lip. "Er... uh... I mean... I'm... I'm Dyonisu, hi... I, uh... heard a lot about you and, um, I'm going to go over here..."

Ermak, who was by now a pretty decent distance from the town of Parte' itself, had not long ago finished biding Pharalla a good journey, and now wandered once again by himself. He was quite certain he'd gotten the large 'pack' of creatures stalking him to continue following him and not his ex-companion. He was quite aware as it was, when Tanya rushed toward him. She was not even in sight yet when he disappeared into the trees, after all... she was coming from Parte' and the chances were incredibly slim that anything good would come of a female running out of that town.
Keier stalked moodily through the woods, he was still wet, and muddy, and in a foul enough mood that he didn't care to bother with his appearance. Something had called to him here, and he was determined to find it. Still confident that nothing in it's right mind would oppose him he wandered aimlessly, half-lost in thought as he walked.

Sleep overtook him rapidly. Despite his best efforts the fox-man was sound asleep, and strangely unafraid of the fact, within ten minutes. Nightsong simply smiled when Chestnut drifted into slumber, and quite soothed himself he settled down on a comfortable chair a decent distant from the young fox, far enough not to be a threat, but not so far as to appear untrusting. Once settled he closed his eyes and napped. He couldn't truely sleep with the town and it's occupants as excited as they were, but he had long since learned how to rest regardless of the 'noise'.

Chestnut slept deeply. Confused dreams whirled around in his head he remembered living in a burrow his mom had pretty fur.... no she had green eyes and pale skin.... burrow.... rain.... concrete... nobody wants to play with the nerd. Chestnut felt tossed and pulled this way and that by the memories not quite sure if they were false or his memories or someone else's. He tossed and turned whimpering occasionally, when a darker memory surfaced. This darker memories were rarer, deeper, Chestnut felt himself drawn yet repulsed by them.... abduction... experimentation.... things were so confused. Hands... so many hands... not human........
Chestnut suddenly sat bolt upright. Two beautiful girls of unidentifiable ethnicity stared at him with wide eyes they both wore loose gowns of blue which seemed odd attire for some reason. He looked around frantically for a moment trying to remember where he was. It appeared he was in some sort of bath... but this wasn't where he was before.... where he... His mind was fuzzy with the dream images melding with what he thought were real images. The large bath (it probably qualified as a swimming pool in some places) was elegant and clearly expensive but done in an understated way all gentle blues and golds. The girls, seeing him relax went back to what they were doing before which was shampooing his fur. They scrubbed and rinsed him with calm efficiency. Chestnut relaxed farther.... this was nice. He wondered where that guy was. The girls quietly finished cleaning him and started to get out of the bath.
" Come Mr. Fox your clothes should be ready," said one as she held out a robe made of an absorbent fabric. Chestnut stepped out, nearly slipping on the steps. His fur felt uncomfortable all wet and he had the urge to shake but resisted it. He accepted the robe and wrapped himself in it looking expectantly at the girl for further instructions. She motioned him towards a small exquisitely carved door.
Going through the door he found himself in a plush room littered with various clothes... although Chestnut could identify very few of them. It seemed his host was there and a small weedy man with an disdainful look. He looked chestnut up and down, his already squinted eyes squinting further. " I see it is as you say. 'Eeh 'as a very red coloring.... hmm.. per'aps the blue-green?" the man commented not to Chestnut but to Nightsong.

Nightsong smiled calmingly at Chestnut, ensuring that the young fox-man was calm before turning to the visitor, "Something to compliment his eyes and accent his handsome coloration." Nightsong agreed with a nod, "I think it will pose a facinating challenge for you." Then the raven-haired man returned his attention to Chestnut. "Are you feeling better? I hope your sleep was not unduelly disrupted, but the young ladies were a little exuberant with their tasks."

Tanya gave up trying to mask her transmissions, she needed to catch the brude, and to get someone else's input on the situation which she was certain was only about to get worse before it got better. She knew well by now not to second-guess her hunches and this one had her gut twisted in anxiety. To say she was irritated would be an understatement. The number of offworlders cropping up was enough to annoy her, for all that it would be a fairly commonplace happenstance on its own, but the premonitory feeling she was getting was enough to actually make her worry under the taste of fear. She did not need to chase her companion through the soaking rain, risking Kiabra's sick sense of humor deciding to zap her with lightning. As it was she was feeling winded given the number of incantations she'd used that day. Contrary to popular belief she was still a studious mage and had been practicing a number of new and difficult skills earlier.
OOC: Tanya's ticked. Ermy will definitely sense the urgency of her tone, what with all the worry, irritation and genuine fear in her sending. She's really unguarded this time.

Illusor Meaneld Nightsong smiled calmingly at Chestnut, ensuring that the young fox-man was calm before turning to the visitor, "Something to compliment his eyes and accent his handsome coloration." Nightsong agreed with a nod, "I think it will pose a facinating challenge for you." Then the raven-haired man returned his attention to Chestnut. "Are you feeling better? I hope your sleep was not unduelly disrupted, but the young ladies were a little exuberant with their tasks." Chestnut looked between the men nervously. He felt they had some sort of plan for him that he probably wouldn't like. His suspicions were confirmed when the shorter man approached him with a bolt of hunter green brocade unfurled. He did want some clothes that actually fit, but he wasn't sure that the complex robes he had the people here wearing would suit him. Chestnut was distracted from the short man's doings in good time by Nightsong's questions.
" Um... yeah... a lot better," he commented his eyes flicking down with alarm when the man began sticking pins seemingly at random. " No... I had a nice sleep and the girls," hear an unseen blush crept across Chestnut's face, " they were nice too. I didn't know i was so bright colored," he laughed nervously when a pin came to close to piercing his skin underneath his sleek chestnut colored coat. " I thought I was a bit browner."
The tailor worked tirelessly, pinning, erming, and uming, and ever so often looking for the slight nod or shake of Nightsong's head. He announced suddenly. " I 'ave enough. I will make such a garment for the foxy the world will gasp at the skill. I 'ave not 'ad such challenge in many years. You were right to call moi Sir Nightsong. I will send the garment as soon as it is finish," he proclaimed as he gathered up his things, along with assistants who seemed to have materialized out of nowhere who packed up the cloth. "I feel the inspiration. I think maybe two hours for first suit, so the foxy will not be too long in that robe which does nothing for his figure." So saying the strange man and his assistants disappeared out the side door.
" What an odd man...." Chestnut commented, and would have said more had not his stomach chosen that moment to make a rather audible protest.
