Sasuke is, well...He's human. (I wanted to call him stupid, but that'd be a half-lie.XD) No human can NOT make bonds with someone, especially after spending time with them. I highly doubt Sasuke WANTED to become clsoe to Naruto and Sakura. He most certainly wasn't trying. (If he was, he certainly did it differently) Saying that Sasuke cannot get close to Karin is making a canon statement, when it's really not.
If Sasuke can't get close to Karin, or Suigetsu, then it's totally unfair to have let him get close to Sakura, Naruto, and Kakashi.
Sasuke may not TRY to create bonds with his new team, but in the end...I think he will. Maybe not romantically, but they'll become his friends.
And that's when there'll be a kickass Sakura vs. Karin fight where they'll both realize that there's no need to fight and then KariSaku will be the most canon yuri couple ever!
*totally strayed away from main topic* xD;; .. Personally, I like your idea. xD I'm too lazy to quote other posts, but don't bash Karin. It'd be like bashing Sakura. And no one wants to bash her. So what if she gets close to Sasuke? Sasuke didn't want to be close with Team 7 for obvious reasons. He didn't want them to get hurt. Of course, Suigetsu did hurt his pride by saying only a retard would go to Orochimaru willingly... But that's not the point. Besides, SuiKari might happen. Or SasuKariSaku might happen. Gotta love those triangles.

urrgggg it pisses me off so much too! when i first read that chapter and saw what she tried to do with sasuke i got so angry i rember screaming "back off he belongs to sakura *****" i hope tehy dont get paired or i will be so pissed!

SERIOUSLY.
So she likes Sasuke, SO WHAT? MOST OF YOU DO, TOO. DOES THAT MEAN YOU HATE YOURSELVES?
She may or may not get with Sasuke. Right now, NONE OF YOU KNOW WHETHER SHE WILL OR SHE WON'T.
But BASHING her and wanting her to die because she might be a threat to SasuSaku is stupid.
You can hate her for whatever reason you want, no matter how ridiculous, but really.. stop bashing. Gomen...I wasn't bashing. I was stating my opinion. And I hate Sasuke. He hurt my favorite character. D:<

It's like putting a player in the game three seconds before the end. She was introduced way too late. And Sasuke doesn't open up to her at all, like he did for Sakura. He shows that. I think it will come down to Naruto vs. Sasuke, and Sakura vs. Karin. I know in my heart that Sakura will whoop her a**, because there is no point in making her stronger just to fail. And why is it unfair for Sasuke to get close to Sakura and not Karin? DO YOU like every person that you meet? DO YOU get close to everyone? I, personally, am in a circle of three best friends. I know OUR bond is so STRONG even though some of us have moved on to new friends. And I have had one of my two best friends say to me that, "I feel so dumb sometimes. I keep switching friends, and looking for a bond which I already had with you two. And it suck becuase I found out too late. I'll never have a friendship like that again." When you go through rough times with someone, you lean on them and depend on them more then anything. And you truely NEED each other to a point where if you get mad at each other, and the fight doesn't last for an hour. In the first part of the series, Kish stresses friendship. He stresses the fun they have, and the bonds they make within Team 7. He ends part one by one of the three(Sasuke) trying to save himself of those bonds, and running away. But both Sakura and Naruto know that the "bonds" that Sasuke speaks about are not the real bonds they feel. They arn't like a string that you cut, and your done. They are bonds of the HEART which don't ever go away. No matter what happens you never forget the people you held dear. That is why Naruto and Sakura are trying to get Sasuke back. Quite simply they love him. Can the new team "Snake" say that? Can they say they love Sasuke, not because he is strong, but because he is weak? Not because he is handsome, but because he is ugly? Love is seeing someone's flaws, and LEARNING TO LOVE THEM ASWELL. Not ignoring the flaws(as Karin and Suigetsu do) and loving what you see. I strongly hate Karin, because I think she has no reason or basic to 'love' Sasuke. She doesn't KNOW him. She wants to screw him. >->' I guess the good thing about Karin, is that her whole issue seperates the REAL Sasusaku shippers, and the fake ones that will turn the second the shows shows something else. heart I love the REAL Sasusaku Shippers! heart

On the topic of SasuKarin. Nope, can't take it seriously. I actually can't take any Karin pairing seriously (even though I like Suika) because a pairing needs proper development, even if it's only one-sided development. And Karin-->Sasuke is not developed at all. Some could say that Sasuke and Karin knew and got to know each other in the three years that he was in Sound, but what good would that do for the readers who don't even know what happened between them. If Sasuke starts to like Karin romantically it would leave a lot of people thinking, "When did that happen? Why didn't we see their history together?" He is a main character and these things need to be explained. This means he can't get away with walking down the street with a random girl, having people asking him if they are on a date and suddenly be dating her, ie: Shikamaru and Asuma. With Sasuke and Sakura the readers got to see chapters of Sasuke starting to see Sakura as one of his precious people, and we got to see Sakura's love for him grow. With SasuKarin we would have to speculate. A lot.

Mah. Though I understand all of your points, I just don't think the threat is big enough.
I highly doubt that Team Hebi was there to replace Team 7, like Sai wasn't there to really replace Sasuke.
I actually really like the idea of Hebi forming some sort of friendship, but I doubt it'll happen. I'd really enjoy it if it does. I'd like to see what kind of storyline happens when Sasuke's old friends and new friends meet.
Unlikely, but I'd love to see it. heart I think a casual Team 7/Team Hebi interaction scene would be pretty damn awesome.

You talk like Sasuke can no longer have anymore friends. FRIENDS. NOT lovers. Karin may only love Sasuke now because of his looks or whatever ( And who's to say she doesn't love Sasuke for his flaws/personality? Heck, she seemed to be loyal to OROCHIMARU, of all people. ), but she CAN come to know him more and be a friend to him. JUST LIKE SAKURA DID.
You hate Karin because she loves Sasuke for the wrong reasons ( As far as we can tell. ), but what about Sakura? She was the same way, but she changed.
Why is it that you think Karin cannot? Like I said, we've only just met her, and how long did it take before you start noticing the change in Sakura's feelings?
And what's this talk about bonds? Did anyone ever say Sasuke had to break his bonds to love someone else? Sasuke can have a circle of friends he loves, but fall in love with someone outside of this circle.
And if these friends trulely loved him, they'd want him to be happy, and allow this new stranger in. Even if they become a little jealous for awhile.
And before I end this post, I don't support SasuKari. I don't think it will ever happen within the manga, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible.

I totally second that. 3nodding Althought things in Team Hebi are still all for interests and no bonds have formed. I can see that there's still a sign Team 7 in it. It could have a symbolic meaning the fact that Team Hebi is more or less similar to Team 7. Still, I can see it possible that Sasuke will consider the members of Team Hebi people that he will protect. Maybe not to the extent for having a friendship like so, but enough to be considered real teammates, if you all gey my drift. Still, I'm really looking foward to the developing of Team Hebi.

Sakura was TWELVE when she fell in love with Sasuke. At that age, all she wanted from him was maybe a hug, kiss, and to hold hands. She didn't know what love was, until she felt it for Sasuke, and learned the pwer of a first(and only)love. Karin? She's what, 20? She wants something COMPLETELY different then Sakura did. Karin wants either sex, power, or protection. Any of those ways she is USING Sasuke for her own will. And Sasuke isn't stupid. He will see right through that in a heartbeat. How can you say, that Karin can change? She doesn't have the childish innocences that Sakura did. She is a full grown WOMEN and shouldn't have a crush on anyone. I mean seriously. Grow up. <----(I mean Karin. Not you. sweatdrop ) At 20, you know what you want. You just need to get it. Sakura's love is innocent, while Karin's is decietful. And I beleive in Sasuke as a character to pick the someone(if he needs to) that loves him truely. I want to believe in him. I want to beleive in Kish. I, for one, joined this guild because it says "SasuSaku" at the top. I came here, because I thought that maybe here, I wouldn't have to keep defending my OTP. That I would be with people who are like me, and love SasuSaku the way I do. Maybe I was misinformed, as I have had to defend Sasusaku here more then anywhere else. And it gives me a headache. stare

This is why I LOVE this guild.
We always get so damn fired up like this xD Dedication, much?
Anyway, like Remedi said before, I dont think that Karin has had too much developement. We know near to nothing about her, other than she apparently has a thing for Sasuke.
There are loopholes in her character so far.
We know she is strong.
We dont know what her jutsu is.
We know that she was a strong follower of Orochimaru.
But she goes and flirts crazily with Sasuke.
LET KISHI TELL HIS STORY, YO!
I mean, how many times has Kishimoto sent us on little wild goosechases around his crazy anime? Nothing is as it seems in Naruto, thats why giant frogs have swords.
What i'm trying to say is that dont feel too threatened by Karin, because we have much more to see of her yet.
And dont bash her either <<; no matter how much of a "threat" she poses, its no reason to bash her, you guys. I mean what have we seen of her?
A couple of chapters and her a** in one.
Thats not really much to judge her by xD I mean, Ninjas must read the hidden meanings beneath the hidden meanings, correct?
