I think we all feel left out, at one point or another. Ever since the Fa'e "family" has grown, I've become too intimidated and have taken to hiding in my shell. The problem is, I've made my own problem WORSE. How, you ask? Because by hiding... No one has gotten to know me... So no WONDER they don't include me in RPs. It's completely my fault for not even attempting to join in. I just feel so inadequate compared to the rest of you... I have a nonexistant self-esteem, ask anyone who knows me. Heh.

I've always tried to join in on RPs, XD, but I have a short attention span, and tend to wander off mid-RP. Doesn't help that I'm not usually on when the others are on. x-x; Faye needs to meet more people and Fa'e.

Yeah, there haven't been any AIM chats since Gaia settled its crap back down again; and there was rarely anything getting done in them unless there was a scheduled RP session requiring more than two people.

Rik: I admit that I have felt intimidated by you. If I don't know you, I don't know not to take the giant warnings about getting my head bit off if I PM seriously. I haven't gotten a chance to get to know you, so I haven't been able to form a realistic opinion.

On mental conditions - whether they're there or not, sometimes it's beneficial to get help in straightening one's own crap out. A viewpoint from outside one's own skull can be really useful in identifying and repairing behaviors you don't want. If you can do it on your own, that's great, but others may need a hand up before being able to do it.

There's times when I can't deal with all of it either. We're a big group. That's intimidating on its own sometimes. If I'm ignoring anyone, I'm not doing it on purpose. *raises hand solemnly* Truly. My attention span just breaks down now and then. sweatdrop

Duuude, have you ever tried to bite someone's head off? The most I've ever been able to fit into my mouth was an ear, or sometimes a nose. But the whole head?

Well, avatar heads aren't that big... but then, I can prolly fit three or four avatars in my mouth at once. Like animal crackers!

You people need to live a little. XD Less seriousness, more fun.

And don't you dare forget about the monkeys peeing in your bed!!

And then, of course, when I went ahead and took down the message, someone posted in my diary and I had to get it deleted! >_< So I had to put the message back up! or at least a similar message.

So, so, so sorry about that. @.@ I had never visited Zev's diary before that, and hadn't seen the note, or something. Again, so sorry!

I was intimidated by Rik as well. You know, us being teh lowly poor peons and he/she/it having super-uber-amazing Feien and gobs of money and friends and stuff. Sosi was intimidating when she first came cause she was a mod, but then she frequented the thread about the same time I did and I learned she's just as silly as the rest of us.

Of course, Rik/Em, if you want, you can always be less intimidating by like, you know, giving us all your money and drawing abilities.

Uh, money? What money? I gave up every cent I owned for Zevulon. And most of that was from letters I had bought for $2.50.

Well, okay, I did put in a decent bid in a recent Mendel auction, but that was only because I recently took two custom feien orders for September items. And really, were it not a Mendel I was hideously invested in trying to own, I never would have offered them up, because it's not easy, trying to regain September items, and I honestly like having the Septs in my inventory. They're nice items.

But Anya has all my money. *shrug* I'm still trying to regain items that I gave up for Zevulon so I have them available to my avatar again. Like my OMG hat! And my NM scarf!

If the feien rock, it's entirely because of the players, very little to do with my art. But we don't get a lot of outside interest in the feien, so I imagine how hard we rock is some sort of well-kept secret. domokun

Seriously though, Rik-dude, you should come to the Fa'e HQ. We won't bite. And we like Arpee.

And I know how losing your stuff is like. @-@

I admit to being intimidated by Rik.

But that might have something to do with OMG SHE DREW BRONWEN.
PostPosted: Fri Nov 19, 2004 7:49 am

Rik: *sidles up to Prox* You can nibble on me -anytime-.

Em: O_o;;; Rik, you man-ho!

Rik: *grins*

I lurve Bronwyn! I would go in the HQ recently, but my Net has been acting up and I keep getting discoed which is not fun and I hate leaving people hanging in RPs. >_< (IMy Net connection is like John Travolta's pants in Saturday Night Fever! Wooo, doubly punny!) But I had fun with you before, Tsu-chan. Kancho wants to go back to the HQ. He's not usually a big people person, but he finds the fa'e terribly interesting, as well as being a huge worrywort as to Zev's development.

And anyway, nothing this week, for my parents are in town! heart

Are we all having fun and sufficiently distracted from any seriousness now? Because, you know, I would hate for the Internet to actually be, like... serious... I think the Internet exists to bring me more Dave Barry and stupidly funny webcomics. Oh, and tard-blog.com and several of its affiliate sites... those military ones are really funny. Screw that whole porn angle, the Internet was invented so those of us with grossly misunderstood and inappropriate senses of humors have places to display it where others can laugh in the privacy of their home and not worry about the social implications!

... Okay, and the Net was also created as a portway for porn for the same reason... But I prefer the humor explanation. In fact, I'd better go check on Dave Barry and make sure he hasn't gotten abducted by aliens or anything.

I just can't wait 'til the next Zev-centric houseguest arrives... she'll be a real riot in the HQ, methinks...

Okay, I'm done rambling, I LOVE YOU ALL (but platonically)!

*pokes head in* Truthfully Rik, I was intimidated by you myself, because yeah... I don't like it if anyone gets mad at me or anything, and yeah... I'm weird. sweatdrop But seeing you in this thread makes me see that you're really a nice person! biggrin And yeah... you should come to the HQ more often. 3nodding
