"The strangers." Was all he said before suddenly dissapearing into the darkness. A few moments later several hooded men entered the alley. "Greetings. You wouldn't happen to have seen any Mistakes around here have you?"

Ani slowly wrapped one of her chains around her fist. "No, who might you be?" Her mis-matched studied the men calmly even though the hair on the back of her neck was starting to stand on end.

"Forgive me for being so rude. I am brother Aron. And these are my associates. We are seeking to cure a plauge." He said as he pointed to the three hooded men behind him, who meerly mumbled in acknoledgement.

"I see, somehow I have trouble believing you." She started to try to walk thrugh the crowd of men wanting to get out of there.

"Why so hasty to leave child? You could join us in ending this plague. Of course if you have other things to do then don't let us keep you." As he said that then men parted to let her through as the main man pulled his hood back up and continued down the alley

Ani turned to watch them leave then looked around for Frost. "Where are you?" She whispered to the shadows hoping he would come back. " I don't want to be alone with them...."

Frost lept down from the one of the buildings. "Don't worry, they wouldn't think twice about hurting you. I'm the one their sights set on." He said as the last one turned the corner. "They beleive humanity should be immortal. But they don't tend to think of the conciquences of that."

Ani smiled a little and breathed a sigh of relief "It wouldn't work, we're all born to die at some point. And I don't like them, wether they would hurt me or not they just feel weird if that makes any sense."

"There's a reason for that. I just hope you didn't see what his followers looked like." He said a little glum. "They try and exstinguish death, but don't seem to realize what they're really doing...."

"I didn't see them." She rested against the wall and slid down to the ground. "And as for extinguishing death, how is it possible? I thought you were already dead... and last time I checked people can't die twice."

"As a Mistake I'm a concentrated form of a soul. So concentrated that I become solid. When a vessel dies the soul is usually released from it to go to whereever it's final destination may be. Me however, my boss solidified me and gave me these abilitys. And it is possible to kill a soul, if you can interact with it. When the souls gone, then that's it. No heaven, no hell, no nothing."

He smiled. "Now how much fun would that be? Besides, if I do tell you your just gonna be paranoid thinking everythings going to kill you. Wouldn't you much rather it happen unexpectedly? Painlessly?"

"I wouldn't be paranoid if anything I hope it's not that much longer if I'm going to have those freaks..." She jerked her head towards where the group of men once were. "Are going to attempt to turn me immortal..." She smirked and rested her arms lazily across her legs.
