"No, he wasn't watching TV when I was talking to him, he was just ignoring me." She said, rolling her eyes. Just then she heard a jingling. "Sorry, I got to go. Just call if you need me." She told Dan and orbed out to go help another ((non-existant)) charge.

Jon noticed Dan sitting next to him on the couch. "Hey! When did you get back?"

He looked around the room. "Hey, where'd.....the girl with the long hair go?" He looked confused. Now that he wasnt being told anything important, his concentration was back to normal.

Austin faded in. "Jon, I've got some bad....what, what's that thing comming out of your head?"

Jon half laughed. "What the heck are you ---- ooh! I think I hear the ice cream truck!" He whisped to the door and ran out.

Austin questioningly looked at Dan. "Has that red beam going to his head always been there? I never had any power to see the spirit realm when I was a demon."

Jon gave Dan an angry look as he was dragged back in. In a muffled, disgruntled voice, "I wanted that ice cream..."

His anger quickly dissolved when he saw Austin. "Hey! When'd you get here? Any news on Jen's soul?"

Austin looked concerned, but he decided to postpone the conversation about the big red thing going into Jon's head. "Uh, Jon, about Jen... from what my contacts said.... her spirit moved on."

Jon lowered his head at the bad news. "But...but we've brought back people from the dead before. Whats different this time?"

"I guess it was just her time, Jon. There's nothing you can do about it." He knew he had to change the subject. "Jon there's something we need to talk about. I think that theres some demon after you, o'o'or something." Austin tried to hide his stutter. "There's something like a'a'a beam or something comming out of your head. It could explain your erattic behavior. Jon... JON! Are you even listening to me?"

He had already began to drift off. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you say something?" He smiled and began walking into the kitched to get something to eat while he waited for the answer.

"N'never mind." He gave a reasurring smile, then looked at Dan with a worried look. In a hushed voice, "we may have a problem here..."

Keon appeared a flurry of red lights in the back of Dan. His voice was soft and scratchy. "Dan, is it true? . . . .about Jen. Is she dead?"

((Im going to change colors since Austin will do more talking than Jon))

Jon smiled and sat down to eat. "Free ice cream, even better."

Austin lead Dan into the other room, trying to discuss the subject where the new visitor couldnt hear. "I've never seen anything like this before, course, I've only had this power for the past couple months, but its still pretty wierd." He looked around the room. "Maby it'll b'be in your book of shadows."

Austin walked over to the book. He suddenly stopped and stared down at the large, old book. Cautiously, and with fear of being attacked, he slowly placed his hands on the book.

Seeing that he was accepted by the book, he began flipping through the pages to see if he could find anything.

"Dan! I think I may have f'f'found something." He waited for Dan to walk over. "Its called the dragon cane. This says that some wizzard wielding a dragon spirit thing made these three items, one for mind, one for body, and one for spirit. This cane thing could be used to reach out and take the memories of the victim, but it doesnt describe anything like what I saw. It comes close though. M'maby no one could ever see the red beam like I can, so they just never knew about it."

((I'm going to add an entry in the BOS about the items for a better understanding.))

"Most likely bad. I doubt that Jon losing his memory is a good thing, and there is also no way of tracking it. The Demon Agency came in contact with the dragon blade once, but after someone stole it, we havent been able to find it."

"I can try a summoning spell, but someone with a tracking power would be more usefull. I'll use Jon's authority to issue an assignment in the Agency. Try working on a spell while I'm gone." He faded out.

((I just, on a whim, decided to make Jon the assistand director of the agency. (I'm making this up as I go.) He used to be more leval headed and respected in his past, but soon before he dissapeared he had started becoming jumpy, cowardly, and almost child-like. This is an unknown effect of the beam that the demon is using to probe and control Jon's brain.))
