Lucidity entered the city looking at his right hand as he formed a ball of Null-matter. He shook his head slowly. I dont like this... he thought to himself. He walked through the streets to the Pure Energy Plant.

Following A.C.'s latest escapade there, the Pure Energy powerplant is like a tomb--silent, empty, powered down, and full of bodies. Men and women, old and young litter the rooms, some torn to pieces by supers who hadn't been fully drained when she released them. About six lay piled in front of the main doors, two technicians dead in the control room (one by a bullet and laid out as if in state next to the wall), and a hatch in the ceiling had been left open to the sky. Everything was dark, all the energy flushed out of the systems, and the light filtered through in a dark, greenish-yellow hue...

Arthur rode his horse down the street by the powerplant. He shuddered. The humans had some unnatural s**t going down here. He lifted his rifle, ready to shoot at anything.

Lucidity heard the sound of hooves coming down the street. He turned and looked behind him to see Arthur on his horse. "That rifle seems a bit out of place in your hands!" he called.

Arthur was midly taken aback. "Lucid!" he said. "It's not my primary weapon of choice, believe me." He rode up and dismounted. "Your friend Strike is looking for you. Nobody has seen you in over a year." He took a swig of scotch, and offered some to Lu.

Lucidity took a few gulps, not knowing the horse drank it as well, and then nodded. "I've been laying low since The Six were defeated. And I haven't seen Strike in years...I thought he was dead."

Arthur giggled. "I'm surprised he's not, to be honest. He's up on that hill, with Ora." He paused a moment. "You know. when i first joined the AoS, Ora told me to kill you if i met you, because you're too unpredictable, too much of a reliability. I'm not gonna do that, because you're a friend." His eyes shifted to a blazing green. "But i'm warning you fireball, do not cross the alliance of supers. Or i will follow my orders." His eyes shifted subtly back to a deep brown. "Not that i normally take orders, but you know waht it's like. Ora. Forceful person. Strike has your lighter by the way."
