Neheheh. My entire purpose was in being turned about, though; I feel that it's a rather underutilised feature of the avatar system. Yes, sometimes it does simply come across as fairly dorky; other times, when used properly, it creates a whimsical sort of feel to the avatar. Which is what I attempted to do. My intent was to keep the colors fairly neutral, but include the one bright spot of color (the socks). And then the Mimzy was because with the wings, it rather reminded me of the Haibane, from my favorite anime. The Haibane being essentially innocent and childlike.
So in short, it's supposed to look like a lonely little girl (albeit one with wings) turned around, holding her favorite stuffed animal.
As for rating yours, I'd have to give it an 7.5/10. I love the Gwee item, I really do, but in your case it's not adding anything to the avatar. Perhaps if you used the treasure or gold versions of your hairstyle, you could work a theme with the Gwee based around a dragon with its treasure hoard.
If you don't want to rework it entirely, there's also the option of just putting more green into your avatar, to make it work; green and purple is an acceptable combination. But without the green, the Gwee is misplaced.

Thanks... I finally got them. Been trying to bid on them forever, but someone always outbid me at the last second. Then someone was selling them for only 6 thou... and I figured why not. That's cheap for what most of them go for.

maybe a touch of gold in the bottom right would give it the extra .1 because it would balance out the gold from the neck of the guitar.
