Quote: Fenix says: I'd lol if you walked up to all the people that were on the beach and shoved them over. Fenix says: Since they can't really defend themselves, or do anything about. Fenix says: Kick some sand in their face. TMJ - The Hand of God says:  TMJ - The Hand of God says: Kicking sand in their faces. That's awesome. Fenix says: Stomp on their sandcastles. And so, they spent a while lounging on the beach to get out some of the stress of those horrible battles and all that. No doubt FMC would like to chase a stick around or something. (( Mayhaps we can leave off here and resume in the morning from a beachfront hotel. ))

It was a beach on a tropical island, after all.
"Hey bossman..." James said, stretching out in the sun as he watched yon tanned bikini babes run by in the perpetual afternoon sun of Gambino Island, "...we need to take this place over."

"No doubt," He agreed, shoving his halberd into the ground like an umbrella, "free concessions and the kids'll pay protection for their sand castles."
He gave a satisfied nod.

And so a plan was hatched.
When the morning came, a campaign would begin to bring Isle de Gambino under control of the BDS.
Scarface, bitches.

Anonymooo OOC, I And now I have to get going on some errands. Let's just part ways, say nobody died, but we lose five DEF and you guys lose five ATK. Seeya tomorrow, everybody. xd (Having returned from my excursion I'd like to state that neither I nor Dunlad agreed to this. I feel that the opposing team performed an all or nothing attack that didn't turn out in their favor and now, whether purposefully or unintentionally, are attempting to skirt out from under the consequences of their actions. I believe out defense is wholly within reason. Not only did my team come up with several scenario's whereby we could all escape unharmed, but I believe we came up with several good reasons as to why the team attack shouldn't have gone off in the first place or at least without a heavy hindrance. Discounting the fact that the team attack wasn't so much simultaneous attacks as predominantly displayed in the examples portion of the Triad and the fact that none displayed a team attack against multiple opponents we still had several advantages as follows. First Mooo mentioned his grenade blasting up a visual barrier of sand should it not actually strike the Ferrari their team was in. The driver slowed down his car and mentioned that he was affected by the sand but that was never added into the calculation for the roll. Nor was the support gunners sudden loss of a support on which to fire his heavy machine gun when the window frame he was resting on was almost entirely destroyed by my attack, disregarding the fact that this attack should have very likely at least wounded one of them. Finally the raging bull shot that struck Stryphes shoulder should have, for all intensive purposes, amputated his arm. I believe he suitably illustrated the rounds power in his post and gave his opponent the opportunity to dodge it despite the almost absolute lethality of the round, but it barely even hampered his movement. Not to mention the fact that the team was already skirting the rules by being allowed to perform their team attack despite the sudden loss of marble power. (Yes, I am aware Opaj approved this) We complained about none of this when they attacked and accepted the roll. Fate shined upon us in that particular instance and that is all there is to it. Your team performed the attack knowing full well the consequences and (despite some impromptu rule creation to fit the situation) we succeeded so we should be able to reap the benefits. I don't think it is realistic for their team to be able to escape regardless of the outcome and frankly I believe it is unfair to us. Especially after their team displayed they were only too willing to completely avoid any sort of entertainment we might have received from the fight by trying to destroy us instantaneously. Not that that is against the rules, I just feel it is robbing us of any roleplay value, especially given that you basically attacked us with a grenade plus distractions. An explosive we had employed the equivalent of three of only the turn before without repercussions for your team. Finally Dunlad has informed me that he would feel robbed if he didn't get the chance to use his Riposte marble. This was one of the only situations in which his character would be able to make use of the marble and (against all odds given his defense) he survived it and wished to make use of it. Seeing as how the altercation basically crippled his defensive score I feel that is equally within our rights. I would greatly appreciate a judges call on this situation as well as a postponement of any further action by the opposing team until this is resolved. We survived a hailstorm of s**t that delayed our team several hours and it wouldn't be fair unless we paid the opposing team back with interest.)

(( I just read the situation and this is what I have to say. Understand that as a judge, this is not an opinion but a decree.
- The Group Combo was shaky, at best. It didn't really seem like a group combo at all as much as it seemed one guy throwing a grenade and the other guys chipping in their attack rolls somehow. However, poor roleplaying does not necessarily deny them a right to initiate a Group Combo (it may, however, completely screw them if the attack is easily avoided, since that does not necessarily require a crit roll).
- A Group Combo is directed at one individual... so this group vs. group thing was a special exception due to the situation, being agreed to by both team captains, and being allowed by opaj.
- The Defensive Combo came out triumphant. What this means is that they aren't harmed, or significantly harmed by the attack. This could either be by a clever defense or a stroke of luck. Despite what Olive thinks (and I find I'm using that phrase a lot lately) it does not necessarily mean that everyone dives out of the car in the nick of time. It could just as easily mean that the offending grenade completely missed and rolled over the roof rather than flying in a window. Grenade tosses are tricky like that.
- Riposte works. It works in the same batch of things as the combo, and the combo was agreed to happen before the marbles fade; therefore the riposte (a marble effect triggered by the combo) would happen before they fade (and then everything stops functioning immediately after).
- Tetsu rolls a 5 for his Riposte, his attack is directed at Adam, who initiated the group combo. Tetsu has 13 ATK, Adam has 12 DEF. Meaning Adam must roll at least a 6 or Tetsu strikes him down in whatever manner his Riposte specifies (meaning, of course, the roleplayed portion of the counterattack). With a success Adam remains conscious and in the game, albeit down 5 DEF points (make sure to post this in the rolling thread), with a failure Adam is out (unconscious, incapacitated, dead, whatever you people want... seeing as there was an agreement that nobody died, I'd rule out the dead).
- After the s**t has hit the fan, all your marbles fade out, and you're overcome with feelings of weakness... Those with extra marbles should equip them now, those without are sissy girls who can't fight back until they find another one as per opaj's rules regarding this situation.
SO IT HAS BEEN WRITTEN. SO IT SHALL BE DONE. ))

((alright, here's my roll. If I fail it, deal with the riposte, but we did come to the conclusion that no one died, remember that. Besides, I feel like playing this character in future Mainstream events.))

Adam awoke with a start. Looking to his right arm, he remembered taking the blow to the shoulder from a .500 S&W. The shock must have knocked him out, he thought. Reaching into one of his front pockets, Adam drew forth a ornate cigar case and pulled out a fat, fine cigar from it. Placing it to his lips, he bit off the end, spit it out, and held it firmly in his mouth. He then fished out his zippo and placed the flame to the end of the cig. After taking a long drag, he turned the keys in the ignition of the car. He looked to his right and smirked. The shock of loosing the marbles must have put both of his teammates to sleep. Flipping the car into reverse, Adam backed up and turned around swiftly, facing the Ferry. He then drove leisurely up to it, until he was just on the deck. And the Ferry took off...
