Well. . . there are other apartments around. ::looking worried as the old man smiles:: why not have your friend stay with you? You do have two extra bedrooms. It will be easier for him to move in the same building, I should think. I have spare furniture if you need it. The Gase's left most of their stuff when they moved out last year.

Remmy nearly fainted. He didn't know if this old man was helping or not. He was about to have a heart attack at how fast everything was happening.

I- I don't know if that's such a good idea, I mean, I don't really know him, and, I don't think its such a good idea. ::he looks a little perplexed:: you have him picking up your medication. You live alone, and, frankly, I worry about you like that. I know this building is safe, but what with your spells, you could get sick again and have no help.

Remmy was rubbing the back of his head. Well, she trusts the old man so maybe he can convince her. he thought, smiling slightly at the old man.

I'll try to have the apartment ready sooner, if you are worried about that. You said yourself he doesn't have anywhere else to go. ::Freddy's pale face goes even paler. She's been talked into a corner and she knows it. So does the old man as he smiles benignly:: I know I worry about you, maybe too much, but I've told you before that you remind me of my granddaughter that I don't get to see anymore. ::anyone but Freddy can see that he's manipulating her with frightening ease. Her face falls and the fight goes out of her:: alright, but only until the new apartment is ready.

Remmy let out the breath he didn't even know he was holding. This old man was a savior from god, either that or he had managed to curse Remmy into a very bad situation.

He smiled at the old man. "Thanks." he said, then walking out of the office and after Freddy. "Hey Freddy, wait up!" he called, running after her. ((Sorry my posts stink))(I edited one word. and no they dont.)

Remmy sighed. ""Look, I'm sorry about this. But I have no credit so it's not like I can go somewhere else where they require credit and all that other stuff to get an apartment, otherwise I would. But the old man is right about one thing, if you ever have any problems I'll be right there." he said, trying to cheer her up a bit.

::kinda nods and shrugs:: anyway, most of the stuff you'dve had to have learned anyway. ::as they enter the elevator, she uses her shoe to push the button:: most of it is as soon as you walk in the door. ::she leads him into her apartment. If he was expecting bare, sterile white walls, he's in for a shock. Everywhere is color. The walls are all painted bright yellow, her furniture is dark red and dark blue, there are brightly colored paintings covering the walls, brightly woven rugs on the floor, etc. Right inside the front door, however, is a stock of disenfectant agents. There's a purell dispenser on the wall, cans of lysol, and a shoe rack full of shoes that have barely been worn ever.:: Before you enter all the way, you have to take off your shoes and spray them with Lysol, spray the doorknob, then you have to use the purell to disinfect your hands. ::as she's explaining, she's doing. She also rubs some on her face:: I know it sounds crazy, but it's a lot easier than disenfecting the whole apartment everyday.

He nodded and did the same, not really mentioning that he didn't have germs since it would be impossible to explain at the moment. He'd have to explain that later when he knew her better.

::leads him farther into the apartment:: I guess you can have the backroom for now. That's where all my- all of the furniture I don't use is. ::takes him down an electric blue hallway and into a room painted light green. Inside is a huge bed, bedside tables, a dresser, and lamps. The room is as immaculatly clean as the rest of the apartment, even though she said it was for storage.:: The closet should be empty... : surprised pening it up, there are more paintings stored in there, she pulls them out. All of them are in the same style, as if she only likes one artist:: I'll just put these in the hall closet for now. Other than that, the other rules are if you make a mess, it must be cleaned immeadatly. Whatever you use, like the bathtub or the toilet, must be cleaned right after. I have a weak immune system, so the littlest bit of mold or mildew can make me sick for days. ::hesitates:: and that's about it. Just basically be as clean as you possibly can be. And stay out of the front bedroom. It's where I work from.
